BE AWARE of this security guard!! It was extremely disturbing to hear him say he would pepper spray a harmless, leashed, trained dog and that if he had a firearm, he would use it. No one working security should be making threats like that. If you have a dog, I would think twice before bringing it inside while he's on duty. He lets a lot of bad homeless inside the store and you just have to be very cautious. I don't know why this store still has him as a security guard. Don't make eye contact with him he will think you are trying to start problems with him. He also doesn't have a company he works for there's no patch. They probably just hire anyone. read more

The so called "manager at this location, short female, glasses, tried to tell me that I was committing fraud with a valid Marlboro coupon from the official Marlboro website, and refused to honor a coupon for me. It's funny she tells me that, because multiple so called "managers" at this location actually honor this coupon for me, all she needs to do is scan the barcode on my phone. Sketchy panhandlers harass customers. Grimy, sticky floors. It's a Walking Dead magnet. South Park neighborhood would be better served if a developer tore down this 7-Eleven and built a highrise. Today I stopped in for a summertime treat. Haagen Dasz ice cream and other snacks. I got in line and the female cashier called me immediately to her register. I went to the cashier and proceeded to bend down and search for my last snack. As I was selecting my fruity candy she rang me up and announced my total. No "Hello" No "Is there anything else" No waiting for me to complete my shopping I gave her the candy which she rang up immediately. I paid. No "Thank you" No "Have a nice day" I requested a bag. I was walking my dog and didn't want to navigate a poop bag fumbling with my ice cream and snacks Cashier: "10 cents" Me: Looked in my purse. "I don't have money on me. Only my card" Cashier: "10 cents!" Me: "Why didn't you offer me a bag before you rang me up? You rang me up twice" Cashier: "10 cents!" This 7-Eleven does a great job. 24 hour delivery available on the app usually within 20 minutes. Very happy with Mobile app.. I've also been to the store late night. Downtown Los Angeles can be dangerous and I was happy to see they have a competent security guard paying attention to everything that was going on and watching the door he let me in welcomed me and made sure I got to my car OK. The worst! Sent one year old expired ice cream on UberEATS that messed up my stomach!

The lack of conviction to the COVID social distancing and masking guidelines requested by the state and county for businesses directly dealing with the public at this 7/11 is inconceivable, especially in the later hours between 10AM and 2AM. Employees not wearing masks, some while cleaning and and standing over grills which are loaded with food, multiple customers allowed in without masks, no management of customers crowding one another and not standing at the location indicted on the floor and this is not an isolated occurrence. It's a circus here during these hours, all of the time. I've approached the store on many occasions and turned around before entering once seeing how out of control things are in there. I would not recommend ANYONE to take the risk of COVID infection here, especially with the recent uptick in LA county cases. Is your life worth a Big Gulp? read more

I called this place today Wednesday July 3rd 2019 7:54 am to ask for an item and its price with tax. The first time a woman answered and after I finished my question she hanged up on me (I know the call didn't drop because I have great phone service) the second time I called someone picked up the phone an slammed to hang up without saying anything. I called for a third time and a guy answered he told they sell the item I was looking for and I asked the total price with tax and responded: "you have to come to the store if you want a total price and hanged up on me" To the manager, hopefully you train your employees some manners and customer service skills, stop hiring people like the ones who answered the phone right now (maybe high school diploma should be a minimum requirement to be hired at your store) they represent your work ethnic as manager. A brand NEW 7-Eleven in South Park. Why do I care? They are my neighbors! We live at the Packard Lofts and watched as the Subway gave way to the 7-eleven. A pretty smooth remodel and they didn't make too big of a mess! I know it opened a little later than planned (I think they were shooting for Christmas), it's been fully operational now for a few months. Anyway, it's your basic 7-eleven at a gas station (Shell). The staff is friendly. I, of course, had to go for a Slurpee!!! Took me and my DH back..... Blue Raspberry!! We used to drive around Ventura in his "little Mazda" truck drinking these side by side! Also purchased a few lotto tickets! Maybe the new store will bring good luck! Tons of snacks and treats. No alcohol. Nice bright open space. Good for late nights, early morning snack cravings! I was driving around downtown when all of a sudden my phone died and there went my GPS and text! I was about ready to call it quits on my plans and just head home until I saw this 7 Eleven! I knew that if anybody was open past ten and sold phone chargers, it was them! I pulled in and sure enough, they had one for my iPhone 5! folks were very kind and helpful. It's the location that the problem. The homeless population is massive and if you are a single female you will be asked by multiple men for money, gas etc. Giving to everyone is unhelpful as it will make the problem at this station worse. Saying no is uncomfortable and depressing. So buying gas here is not a super experience. read more

Rude employees and a very dirty facility. I'd rather just pump gas and go and not go inside.

No customer service they practically ignore you while they have their own conversations while ringing you up. Then get mad for asking for a bag when they weren't paying attention to begin with. They need a full staff clean up to get higher quality people who can at least be friendly. read more

This is the most scam ridden 7-Eleven with the change of ownership several years ago. The crook who works the register just had my car towed after I had filled my car with diesel and put air in the tires as I have done there for over ten years. I parked in a 7-Eleven parking space since I had just done business there, and went next door to the Subway to pick up the sandwich I had ordered - came out three minutes later and he had had my car towed - and another car that had just parked there in the spot next to me. The clerk was standing there looking very happy with himself. He was now going to get kick back from having two cars towed! Luckily the police were there, as they always are along with all the junkies hanging out in the parking lot - the police knew all about the towing scam at this 7-Eleven and helped me find my car which hadn't even arrived at the tow yard yet. When confronted in the store, the clerk said he didn't know it was my car. SUCH A BIG LIAR!!! He just sold me diesel and turned on the air machine for air in my tires. He looked repeatedly at my car! The tow company could only say they know all about it and "it's a dirty" business - they didn't charge me the full price when I explained I was a teacher and they had just taken over a days pay from me! And, the clerk lost his kick back for that day... There is nothing I can do except believe in karma and be satisfied knowing that I have a wonderful career and that lying clerk who pretends not to understand English will always be a crook and a clerk. Normally I'm happy about the convenience of a 7-Eleven at a gas station right around the block from home, but their customer service is quite unfortunate. I purchased two ecigarettes from them just to find one of them was a dud. Tried to go back to exchange it and the manager George refused to help me! He wouldn't take a look at the product (they blink if they've been used up) and said he would only consider it if I came back the same day (I found out and went back two days later). This is why I bought two at a time, do I have to open each one and test them right away any time I try to buy more than one? I find that unreasonable. *thumbs down* read more
