Cool location. The clerk was working two different windows/ e helping two ppl at once so she definitely the MVP. Good LA vibes in that area. Not sure about the food options but its a cool gas station overall.

    Nasty parking area!!

    What a crap hole!! This is a rogue 7-Eleven, in a crappy area. It's a Shell station w/half of a 7-Eleven.

Spilled coffee tracked through the store.

Sketchy panhandlers harass customers. Grimy, sticky floors. It's a Walking Dead magnet. South Park neighborhood would be better served if a developer tore down this 7-Eleven and built a highrise. Today I stopped in for a summertime treat. Haagen Dasz ice cream and other snacks. I got in line and the female cashier called me immediately to her register. I went to the cashier and proceeded to bend down and search for my last snack. As I was selecting my fruity candy she rang me up and announced my total. No "Hello" No "Is there anything else" No waiting for me to complete my shopping I gave her the candy which she rang up immediately. I paid. No "Thank you" No "Have a nice day" I requested a bag. I was walking my dog and didn't want to navigate a poop bag fumbling with my ice cream and snacks Cashier: "10 cents" Me: Looked in my purse. "I don't have money on me. Only my card" Cashier: "10 cents!" Me: "Why didn't you offer me a bag before you rang me up? You rang me up twice" Cashier: "10 cents!" So yeah, if you don't mind stopping in a crowded store which has a odd chemical smell (cleaning products?) but somehow always filthy and want to be treated like crap by the drugged out stragglers and the 7-Eleven staff I would avoid this place.

Party goes on and drinking alcohol. I got one of the employees pull a gun at me when I was in the street 2 days ago I was at gun point inside my vehicle and my door was messed up.

Came here to buy some ice cream after having several beers at Yard House a few blocks away. I'll be honest, I was a little scared. It was a tough crowd in this joint. But, I got my ice cream, a bottle of Perrier and a spoon so I was good to go. Probably during the day it's nicer but late on a Saturday night, it attracts the type of people who go to 7-11 late at night, such as myself.

They were cool, definitely had their alert at 100%. The lady didn't really seem to want to allow me to scan my barcode though.

That's including the…read morecustomers that they & their store are DEPENDENT on for the revenue that ultimately pays their individual INCOME. I'm sure they have been through a lot at this location, which I definitely take into consideration, but I don't think that means that low quality customer treatment is now acceptable (across multiple visits). I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

Hello Yelp! I've…read morebeen coming to this market/deli for a bit as I live just a few blocks away. I almost always come for a sandwich fix. The deli is pretty basic with 4 types of sandwiches, pastrami, ham, turkey, smoked turkey, and ham and turkey. They all come with pepperjack cheese, or cheddar and include mustard, tomato, and lettuce. They use boars head meat which is top quality meat and juicy and tastes well of the protein. The sandwiches are made fresh everyday but not to order so you cannot customize. For $7 even for a footlong stuffed full of meat using fresh lettuce, a gorgeous dijon mustard seed mustard, juicy and crisp tomato, fresh bread and high quality deli meat, this is an excellent and delicious buy. The sandwiches are huge with meat overflowing and everything is so fresh. I love the restraint and simplicity in this sandwich as the fresh high quality and classic flavors speak for themselves. The price point at $7 is perfect too. This sandwich ia levels above subway or jersey mikes. The deli meat is thick sliced and high end but my favorite part of the sandwich is the crunch of the lettuce with the crisp of a juicy tomato slice, and true mustard flavor and aroma. When one can smell the pure aroma of an ingredient and it is perfumic then it is fresh, natural, and naturally delicious. For $7, you get a rocking footlong stuffed with meat, freshest and hi-end ingredients and no wait. They also have groceries, other deli items, and a selection of nuts This is my go to for a sandwich! Hope you try it out! Brandon

I stopped by around 11pm on a Monday night and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They had everything you'd expect, and the location is really convenient. It was right across the street from the DoubleTree by Hilton that I was staying at. So if you're staying in the area or just passing through on foot (it's on a busy corner), it's easy to swing by. It's your typical 7-Eleven experience, nothing mind-blowing but nothing terrible either. It's a good spot for grabbing snacks or drinks if you need something quick, but it didn't offer anything that made it stand out from the hundreds of other 7-Elevens out there. Parking can be a little tight in the area since it's Little Tokyo, but nothing too wild if you don't mind walking a block or so. It was pretty dead when I was out and about walking. There was a few people experiencing homelessness and there was a fight that broke out in the area but again, I didn't feel unsafe. I would suggest getting on a bike or a scooter to be able to ride faster if you are feeling unsure. Overall, a perfectly fine place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood or need something late at night, but don't expect anything beyond your typical 7-Eleven experience.
