I have stopped in on a few occasions to grab a hot dog. One of 7-11 staple items and never have they had mustard on the 4 visits I have made really no mustard for hot dogs? Don't even think about using the tongues to grab your dog off the roller from the looks of those they have never been washed. Big dried food chunks dried on the tongues. So I stopped by to see if this 7-Eleven still has rubbing alcohol. They don't but I found sanitizing wipes for $4. Pricy but not too bad. HOWEVER, they are selling a tiny 2 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer for $4 which is 4 times it's normal price. Even more outrageous they are selling ONE disposable mask for $3 !!! That's 15 times the normal price! It's a good thing I only need the wipes. I'm extremely annoyed by their greed. read more

If you want to be harassed at the ATM and then followed throughout the store, this 7 eleven is the place. While attempting to grab a piece of jewelry out of the ATM (it slipped off my friends finger into the cash dispensing part) a man who worked there I'm assuming, with no name tag tells us we need to call the number on the machine to do anything about it. We simply ask again, is it possible for something to fall down into the ATM through the cash drawer? He continues to repeat himself like he's reading off a script... "Call the number on the ATM... Call the number on the ATM." in a condescending negative tone. He then proceeded to stand directly behind us, watching our every move pretending to be checking out products on the shelf. He made me us feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. He wasn't wearing a name tag so he's impossible to identify for certain. He was wearing a red jacket and red basketball shoes, middle eastern guy. WARNING: avoid this place at all costs. Everything at this store is marked 2-3 times more per item than elsewhere. The drinks are 2.5 times more expensive. Even the bag charge is a whopping 5 times more than elsewhere. The owners are clearly trying to price gouge folks. Rude Employee who is emotionally and mentally unstable attacked me with a baseball bat for calling him rude and asking for his name for the express purpose of reporting him to his manager. After half past the seven o'clock hour on this very morning, I was assaulted by a Seven Eleven Convenience Store employee today for the terrible sin of telling him he was being rude. This was prompted by his demeanour, his refusal to be helpful, refusal show me where something was when I asked for it, and treating me in the most undignified fashion, which, as a widow of recency, is a most shameful thing. He refused to give me his name, despite being asked repeatedly, and demanded to know why I wished for his name, and I told him plainly, to "report you to your manager and to your company, you clearly should not be working with the public." He brought out a bat, from behind the counter, no kidding. I suppose in his eyes to tell him that he is being rude or doing anything wrong is such a terrible sin it merits humiliation, raising his voice, and his emotional instability being evident to the point that he resorts instantly to physical violence his own customers instead of de-escalating a situation or good old fashioned "customer service", is undignified to the point of being obscene. But to lay hands on a customer for having a complaint is obscene to the point of unacceptable, and in my case, a far more terrible sin, one knows to be certain, for now I will pursue his removal, and will be suing the company, after I come back from the ER, and speak to a barrister and magistrate. Oh, and striking your customers is also rude, 7-11. How very dare you. Especially one with the ability and means to pursue legal action against him, and you, to whatever degree one must pursue them to to see his removal from his position. And as a member of the media, in print and in online publications and magazines, I would still like his name for the article that I am currently, and most definitely writing, and naming your franchist in, and you may reach out to me privately if you have comment before I submit it to my publishers. And by the way, this is not the first time the employee was rude, though it is the first time he resorted to violence, as his first resort in response to criticism. The FIRST time he was rude to me was on Christmas Eve this past year. I thought very strongly about contacting you then, but as a Christian, I did not think it right for me to issue a complaint that could cost someone their livelihood on Christmas Eve. So I turned the other cheek and gave it a pass. Two friends of mine met me afterward, and they were kind enough to get me the sugar, creamer, and coffee I originally went there for and they greeted me outside of my building in order to take me to the ER just now, and were playing this on on their portable speakers, something I found amusing and heartwarming. This is by far the worst example of a 711 I have ever experienced. I stopped by this morning go grab some cigarettes and maybe a snack. I waited outside with another guy till the employee slowly shambled towards the door to let us in. I ended up behind the other guy in line, and he purchased a cigar and was on his way out. When I asked for a pack of cigarettes, the guy asks me for ID ( he's doing his job, I get it. ) I actually had forgotten the card holder with it at home, and as expected, I was denied my purchase. Why one star? Plenty of places ask for ID when selling age restricted products. Well, aside from the bloodied bandaid I found in their chips section , I was a victim of racism! Me, a white guy, the employee, a brown guy. Guy in front of me, a brown guy. You may have missed this, but the guy in front of me bought a tobacco product, and was not asked to present ID, the clerk just handed it over without a word. I was asked for ID right after he sold a tobacco to someone of his own race which he asked for no ID. Why would he break the law, and sell a tobacco product to someone of his own race, which, for the record, looked under 20 years old? Because he specifically saw me, and identified me as a white person, and knew I needed to be targeted. If you are white, avoid this place at all costs, because they only take care of their own. read more

Who reviews a 7-Eleven? Right? Who cares about a review of a 7-Eleven? I know. But this is all I can do. After multiple complaints to 7-Eleven corporate, a Yelp review is my last hope to try and encourage someone to go spend your money elsewhere when looking for a quick drink or snack fix downtown. There are some good employees who work here. But there are some bad apples as well. Crabby apples. Apples who swear at customers, openly complain and use very vulgar language when they want to go home early and are upset that they have to, uh, do their job and put food deliveries away. Apples who want to leave early so much they don't have coffee available at 10:30 p.m. or hot food past 11 p.m. because they want to be cleaned up. This is a 7-Eleven that has gone without basic things like Splenda sweetener for months at a time. A 7-Eleven where the Slurpee machine is frequently broken. I walked four blocks in the cold rain to get some coffee when the President was in town. It was around six in the evening and I was going to work. There was two half pots of cold coffee available. I told the cleark that I would like some hot coffee please. He told me that there would be no more coffee made until morning. Coffee is the main reason I go to 7/11's. A typical 7-Eleven, they are open late which is a rare occurence for a small grocery store in downtown Seattle and are in the process of getting their liquor license. They're located across the street from the police precinct so you'll be able to pick up a 6-pack of beer on your way out after spending the night in jail for being intoxicated in public. read more

Horrible service. The slurpee machine had only 2 out of 6 flavors working, and they were all labeled incorrectly. Of course they didn't have the one my daughter wanted, so we asked if the red one was cherry or the weird vitamin water flavor and the clerk assured us it was cherry. It wasn't. Yuck. They also had a promotion sign for buy one item get the 2nd one for free. At the register he said that promotion expired. The tag didn't have an expiration date, just a "pull by" date. They didn't. This 7-Eleven location is the closest place to work which opens early and stays open pretty late. That being said, it's one of the only 7-Elevens I know of which does NOT stay open 24 hours. The listed business hours are 5am - midnight every day, and USUALLY this is when they're open. However, they have times when either employees just don't show up in the morning, or something, and they don't open until later - between 7 am and 10 am. Several times I've run over to get coffee (especially on Saturdays and Sundays when Starbucks kitty-corner from it is closed) and they are closed! Sometimes the employee is in the back, doing inventory or something, and just locked the front door because they're the only ones in the store, but other times, the back room door is wide open, lights off, and no one to be seen. The employees often play loud, abnoxious music from a small ''boom-box'' (yes, I did say boom-box) behind the counter. Another employee stands outside smoking and makes inappropriate comments to [female] customers. Additionally, BEWARE the expiration dates on any product you purchase here. Just today, I saw milk which expired 12/12/14 - count it, that's 10 days expired! Not right. As far as convenient stores go, this one is well-stocked. But like I said, beware. Look at the expiration dates before you buy, and wear ear-plugs when you come here. read more

The lady who owns this 7-11 is so beyond rude. I was trying to get some groceries for someone unable to leave their house cause of Covid. She began filling the order after telling me to wait. I sat there for 15 mins and watched multiple other people walk in and get helped while I stood there. Finally I asked how much longer and she said "she was waiting for a delivery driver to show up because they were out of one item. I asked why she didn't tell me that in the first place. That's when her attitude really got crappy. She told me to "go get undressed and to fuck myself! Then sat there flipping me off trying to mimicking me. I quickly left and had to tell the person I couldn't get them dinner. I was embarrassed and made to feel like crap for trying to help out. I recommend avoiding this 7-11 and it's right across from the police station so she probably has an attitude thinking the cops are her local customers. read more

I can't believe I'm writing a review of a convenince store, but this one mandates it. The place is awful. The manager (owner?) yells and screams at other employees; I've never had a visit where she hasn't yelled at the top of her lungs at someone. Shrill and shrieking; it curdles my blood. Why is she yelling? There's some delivery or inventory that isn't right, or someone isn't at the register. There's always a line ALWAYS. A convenience store is not a convenience store if I'm waiting in line for 8 minutes behind five people. They're often out of certain flavors of soda. The ATM is in the back corner behind piles of boxes and other debris. The floor plan is over crowded, and with everyone standing around in line waiting for some help it's hard to move around within the store. read more
