I went to 7 leaves cafe because I had a reward on the app so decided to try it out. I ordered on the app which was pretty easy. There was a drink I wanted but it was out of stock so I ordered the house coffee iced. It was actually good, I enjoyed it. I did notice when I went in to pick up that the food shelves were empty so that was a bummer. There were only a few macaroons and it was 9am. Other than that, it was good and would come back.

Have not been back to 7 leaves in a while. I didn't realize that their taro drink is made from fresh taro daily! It was absolutely the best taro drink I've had in OC. You can taste the chunks of taro and the natural smooth and flavorful taro milk. Boba is made to perfection with just the right amount of chewiness. Only complaint would be too sweet for my personal taste even when reducing all sugar as in. But I'm sure it's fine for most people.

Did you know that coffee spelled backwards was eeffoc? Yea..just know that I don't give eeffoc until I've had my coffee. -_- LOL Was seriously in need of a pick-me-upper today, so where did I go??? My go-to local 7 leaves ofc. I particularly LOVE this Irvine location because it's conveniently located uber close to my home; in the Arbor Village Center, on the corner of Jeffrey & Walnut (near Sunmerry bakery & Taiko). I can literally go in & out quickly and efficiently. The staff is always uber nice and the vibe is so chill. It allows me to get-on with my day with a pep in my step! Shhh..I personally am usually in the mood for the off-the menu/semi-secret for those who know..you know..black & tan with grass jelly. It's a MUST TRY! #trust It's just the perfect blend of half coffee/half tea, for days when I don't wanna commit to a heavy dose of caffeine. Also depending on my need for alertness, I sometimes add an extra shot of expresso. My other favs are their House Coffee ~ for those days I NEED a stronger go get 'em kick. Its nutty, smooth taste, just hits all the right spots..if you know what I mean. And I definitely hit up my Viet Coffee when I need to get sh*t done. IYKYK..viet coffee is like liquid crack. You will be jumping the walls and knocking items off your to-do list in no time. LOL Lastly, for days when I crave tea..sea cream Jasmine tea (plus or minus boba) is where it's at!!! That good quality Jasmine tea satisfies all your boba taste buds every time. Totally not bitter tasting at all. It's the perfect sweetness too, IMO. Pro Yelp/RxFoodie tip: Don't forget to sign-up & use your 7 leaves app to collect them "leaves" (aka points) for your purchases. Save up your leaves to redeem for goodies!!! 55 leaves gets you a free 20 oz drink or macarons at 20 leaves. AND you can earn exclusive offers, including birthday freebies or other special deals. #thankmelaters CHEERS!!!

This 7Leaves location is pretty small and doesn't have seating inside, but it's good as a to go spot. We always order on the app for pickup and the drinks are done really fast. They have a section in the store for pickup drinks and they're set down alphabetically. We got our go to drinks: the house coffee and the green thai tea. Drinks are pretty consistent here and we appreciate how we're in and out really fast.

If 7 Leaves has a million fans, then I am one of them. If 7 Leaves has ten fans, then I am one of them. If 7 Leaves has only one fan then that is me. If 7 Leaves has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against 7 Leaves, then I am against the world. personal recommendations/preferences: jasmine milk tea -- used to be my regular. they have an item on the secret menu thats jasmine mt + caramel which is really good. strawberry hibiscus tea -- very good, very refreshing. amazing on a hot summer's day. perfect with aloe vera. herbal tea -- good for when you want something sweet but feel guilty about it. amazing with grass jelly. thai tea -- a classic. 7 leaves does thai tea especially well in my experience. perfect level of sweetness every time. my new regular. green thai tea -- first time trying it today. more floral (jasmine base) than regular thai tea, but just as good.

Very popular boba chain in OC. Consistent quality, small place so mostly pick and go. Seasonal flavors. Friendly and efficient service. This time is strawberry hibiscus tea with boba. They cannot change sugar flavor so be it to keep the flavor. In and out pretty quick.

I got the black and tan and ordered on the app. On the app there is no option for easy sweet so I went in store and they said they can do that for me. The drink still came out more sweet that I usually like, but it was still tasty. I also got boba which probably also contributed to the sweetness. The Boba itself is nice and chewy. 7 leaves will always be a SoCal classic for me. The barista was super nice and was great overall. Inside is also clean.

    Sunset Passion (Juice) with Boba
    Alyssa T.

A good location for drinks that is consistent with the rest of the chain. The shopping center that it's located in can be very crowded at times, but this location is in the corner where it's a little bit less crowded. There's no seating available and the interior is fairly small. The drinks are consistent with the rest of the chain and have very good flavor. The sunset passion is on the more tart side for drinks, but it's very refreshing on a hot day. The boba is cooked well and was a good addition to the drink.

How much ice do they need to put in a cup. What's the point of getting a large when they just fill it up higher with ice. However, the staff were polite and drink was good.

strawberry rio rosa + hot taro milk tea--pretty, cozy, and reliable (ig: @parkmunchies)
    Claire P.

stopped by 7 leaves for a strawberry rio rosa and hot taro milk tea--both solid and satisfying. the rio rosa was super pretty and refreshing, a little on the sweeter side but still enjoyable. the taro was warm, creamy, and gave total comfort drink vibes always a quick and reliable spot for a midday pick-me-up. drinks came out fast, the staff was friendly, and the space is clean and lowkey--perfect for grabbing a drink and dipping. love that you know exactly what you're getting every time

Only recently was I able to visit and try their croffles and other sweets. Did NOT know that this was inside the H Mart food court in Diamond Jamboree. Parking is horrendous and the driving there is horrendous as well. Probably the easiest and least horrifying option just to automatically default to is to just park in the overflow lot right next to the plaza. There's no indicator for the parking garage so on a particularly busy day, you can head all the way to the top, find nothing and navigate through the hell crowds trying to leave. Ambiance is a very casual, counter order business in the food court. There's seating there, but we ate really close by. Definitely something you have to eat immediately or the texture will not be optimal or it might get soggy. We got the tiramisu croffle and they toasted it and put it together for us there. The lady working there packed it up nicely in a to go box and we got some cookies (regular ones and almond crisp ones). It's a bit sweet, but they're dessert pastries so that makes sense. Goes great with a brewed cup of tea. Croffle had a nice semi-chewy texture and the tiramisu flavor added a bit of a coffee taste to it. Good balance of the cream and croffle. The cookie wasn't too bad either. Overall not a bad to go dessert spot.

It looks clean and spacious enough for a small scale tea shop. There are a-la-carte menu items (pastries, tea) and an afternoon tea menu. Price: $45 for the Royal Tea Experience package which is extremely reasonable considering what you get. There is a 90 mins max for each tea experience. They are pretty booked from what I saw. Food: For the Royal Tea Experience, each of us got: tea of choice, 5 tea sandwiches (Cucumber Dill Cream cheese, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Cranberry Turkey pinwheel, Roast Beed Arugula), 2 scones (Vanilla and Strawberry), Cream, Strawberry preserve, berries and some grapes, 3 desserts (mini muffin, Chocolate brownie, some kind of mini cake). The tea pots were a lot smaller than other places I've been to (probably enough for 1.5 cups of tea if filled to the rim). I love the heart-shaped sugar cubes, the size is just enough for a half teaspoon of sugar. They didn't have any milk for the tea set up like other places I've been to. I love the roast beef sandwich balanced flavor; the chicken one is really bland, a dash of curry powder would enhance the flavor more in my opinion; the cucumber needs to be sliced thinner as these slices are rather chunky; the scones are fine - I usually prefer my scones warm but only 1 place I know that serve it that way. The tea selection is decent, I went for Jasmine Rose. I feel that the scent and tea flavor was rather weak. There was barely any scent of each so it didn't leave a big impression on me. I want to try other ones in the future for sure. The staff was super nice to offer an extra tea bag if the flavor is too weak so I went for another bag. Service: Excellent! They were fast, courteous, and friendly. 2 staff made their rounds frequently to check on us and made sure we had enough hot water in our tea pots . Parking: This is where I docked up a star. The parking lot is shared with many businesses in the same strip mall. I came here at 10 AM on a Saturday and the whole parking lot was filled, there was no spot for me to park. My friend had to park all the way on the other side of the mall and I managed to find some parking in the back (side street). Avoid lunch time at all cost, there were cars waiting around as they couldn't find any parking. After the tea experience, we went somewhere else and upon coming back around 3 PM, half the parking lot is empty. If I would give anyone a tip on the parking time, it seems to be ideal around this time.
