I have no idea why 7Leaves decided to make this location legitimately the most well-decorated boba store I've seen in my entire life but hey, who's complaining? Service was pretty good as was my jasmine milk tea (less sweet), but both of these pluses dulled in comparison to the sense of inferiority I felt in their expansive seating area. I hope my decorating skills for the theoretical place I'll have in the future (if housing costs ever go down) amount to half as much as whatever's going on in the heads of who's running this 7Leaves. Happy that this place finally opened! Other locations are further so it's nice to have something closer. The interior is modern and really clean. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered the assam milk tea and my boyfriend got a Thai tea. The boba was the perfect texture. The drinks tend to be on the sweeter side so I usually go for less sweetness which is perfect. read more

Been here maybe close to 20 times. I really like the Rio Rosa. This lady that opens in the morning, it's like I owe her money or something every single time. She never looks at me and doesn't say a word even if I say hi and thank you. It's like I am air. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and there was parking in the small plaza. My boyfriend's sister has ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus drink for me and it's really good, sweet and refreshing. Today we ordered the Strawberry sunset drink and Assam milk tea. My strawberry sunset drink was sweet and tasted of strawberry with a citrus guava taste. I've been to this location three times and am disappointed by how low quality this 7leaves is - I've been to two other locations in the South Bay that were far better. In each of my three visits I ordered a unique item with boba (mung bean MT, green Thai tea, and jasmine sea salt) requesting less sugar (and was told they have a lower sugar option). They were all extremely sweet that I cannot believe that was considered "lower-" this has to be much higher than the other locations I frequent. Every time the boba has been hard and difficult to chew, not at all chewy or soft. Frustrating as I waited over two years for this spot to finally open, and the cafe interior is really cute. After three strikes I won't be returning to this location. read more

This location is awesome, perfect spot to study, meet up with friends while enjoying the a cup of joe. Which is not your typical cup of Joe if I may add, definitely delicious cup of hot coffee with just right amount of sugar and creaminess. Ahh so delicious in every sip. Came here for their grand opening. We camped out the early morning of to get the free tumbler and tote bag. Obviously this does not affect the review of the place but it was find camping out and waiting for it to open. We were maybe like the 4th group in line. The manager was really kind and nice. She was clear about how the free tumbler thing worked. The service was great. They were very nice and seemed very experience since this was a new store. This kept everything very smooth and fast. We got our drinks, tumbler, and tote bag and rushed on home to sleep. Along the way though, we sipped our drinks and it was as expected. The quality is consistent and tasted great to me! Congrats on the new location! I waited for the Grand Opening perk for being the first 250 customers. I got my usual half House Coffee, half Taro Milk Tea with Boba. My boba was hard and tasted old. My biggest pet peeve is bad boba so I probably won't be hitting up this location again because first impressions matter for me especially boba that cost $7+ The staff is nice and plenty of seating. I havent waited in line for a promotion like this in a long time so when I saw the promo i ramped up for the experience- but lowkey giving the same disappointed vibes everyone else felt for black friday this year My fiance and I joined the line at 8:40AM and we were luckily the 230ish place? An hour into the wait we reread the flyer and thought they were giving away $50 gift cards instead- but we realized too late it's "a gift valued at $50" which is just a tote, a tumblr and a free drink voucher. The main thing that caught my eye is a free drink voucher. It was great they had a DJ and every now and then the staff would come out to the cutoff to let them know they gave away all the vouchers for the day. If i read the full promo properly (AND SAW THE BACK OF THE VOUCHER LMAO) I dont think I would have fallen in line, but im trying to convince myself that the giveaway items are nice (and they are nice quality i swear...) But you still need to buy something which is whatever. Its the bay area i get its expensive to run a business here so youre still charging ur customers normal price to offset the expenses. Idc. What compelled me to write this review is that the free drink voucher is actually for a free house coffee. Girl.... I come to 7 leaves for the LEAVEs. The TEA!! The BOBAaaa!!! Not coffee +1 star for your grand opening and another star because I am a loyal user of the app that genuinely enjoys your tea! Theres no other jasmine milk tea that tastes like the way you make it I didnt get to buy my drink till 12:35PM so like around 4 hours later. Half of my expectations were met (waiting in line and getting free stuff), but the other half (paying full price for a drink to claim free stuff and the sorry-ass drink voucher) was not expected. A mix of things I heard in line that other customers expressed were there was no free gift card and you still had to buy something. I want to continue to support 7 leaves, yall are delicious and I visit to work in your cafes often. I will gladly change this review if you can change the voucher, it doesnt feel fair to me that you limit the terms to just coffee and not the tea. I have found my new go to coffee and tea place! We got the house coffee and mung bean milk tea and absolutely loved both. The coffee in the house coffee was smooth and not bitter, and the salted cream on top was so salty and creamy, complementing the coffee perfectly. We died over the mung bean milk tea, it was sweet and just delicious. I will be back to try more but it'll be hard not to want to just get those two again! read more

I don't know how many times I have been here since it opened! It was under construction for a very long time. I always look to see if they open cause I work just down the street. Second time I go. ordered easy sweet, extra matcha and it's still too sweet. It just tastes like sweet matcha milk so disappointing.
