This was my go to gas station. We come here every day, and I'm not even exaggerating. As soon as we start our day we come here to pump gas. We gave this location so much money, we have been coming here for over two years. Today was horrible, we pumpedtwenty five dollars since gas is so pricey as is so we could get to work. We ended up turning our car on after we pump, and there was no gas. We turn the car on and off again, about three times no gas. I have a new Subaru, I don't have any issues with my car. We address the situation to the ladies at work there, however they were no help. Instead she advised us to call corporate which is close on a Saturday, to figure out our issue. If I needed gas on any other day, that would be fine. However I need gas today. To take peoples hard-earned money, and make a false claim that we lied. We spoke with the manager, and it was horrible as well. I told him the reason and he was sure that it was my car's fault. Again I have a new Subaru, it's very insulting for him to even think that it was my car. He was assuring me that it was in my car, and that I have gas. He even said since I only pumped $25 it was 4 gallons, and it wasn't going to show. How is that even possible when I can look on my dash and see how many miles I have left in my car. We argue back-and-forth over $25. He really thought that I was trying to scam him for only $25. The ladies are also no help, they honestly made it seem like it was our fault. I know we're just customers, and that our business alone isn't going to phase the manager. But this can happen to anyone of you guys here at the gas station. Just be aware and mindful from this place. Location enough is already sketchy. Come here if you want your money stolen, and to be completely swarmed by the homeless people that will ask you for money. read more

DO NOT PUMP HERE!!!!!!!! I came to pump gas here because my gas light was on. I only had about 40 miles left. I went to pump at number 7. I PAID $25. When I finished pumping gas my gas light was still on and still said 40 miles. I turned my car off and on and waited and my gas light was still on. So my only thing I can think of is the pump didn't give me gas. My car is brand new and is a Subaru. I came to talk to the workers and they had no idea why it would do that. She did not believe me , and told me to call the 1800 number that was closed since it was the weekend. So I'm stuck here with no gas even though I paid and had a receipt. Another lady came and I even showed her my gas light was still on and still wanted to tell me that it pumped. I get 27 miles a gallon and I pumped 4.3 gallons and yet i still only had 40 miles in my car. Doesn't make any sense. These 2 unprofessional workers did nothing for me. Absolutely trash. Clearly did not care about my situation even though I come everyday. Not even a joke I come everyday to pump 25-40 dollars. I ended up giving my number to the manager. He spoke to me on the phone and I told him my situation and he did not care. Then tells me that I am a liar and wants to steal his gas. THIS MAN DOESNT CARE even when I showed his employee my gas light is still on. DO NOT COME HERE. GAS PRICES ARE OVERLY PRICED COMPARED TO OTHER GAS STATIONS THAT ARE CLOSE. Close this place down. I'm not one to notice gas stations along my way until the time comes when my tank is on "E" and in desperate need to get gas. Fortunately, this station was conveniently available right when I needed them! Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences. But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station, with convenience store and added plus: an automotive repair shop on the premises! Many years ago, most gas stations offered a repair service, but not anymore! That's why I had to give kudos, meaning 4 stars just for this added convenience! Good business practice! My homegirl came here and pumped $25 worth of gas...and there was no fuel in her pump! She just got a new Subi so they don't have any issues and of course nowadays the tech is so advance you can physically see how many miles the gas can take her. Anyways, instead of trying to help they pretty turned her away telling her to contact corporate when they know they're closed! Sounds kind of absurd for a measly $25..smh...don't come here folks they don't even have fuel in their tanks! read more

Not a lotta yelpers review gas stations. But me, I'm different though. This is a great gas station for many reasons. First is that it's located right off the Capital City Freeway. You can get off the 16th street exit and be at this gas station in less than 30 seconds, yes it's that close. The other thing about location, a main question you wanna ask, is this has station in the hood, will my life be at risk? The answer is NO. Yes on occasion you will see one homeless person walking around asking for money but that is all throughout downtown, so Yes this is a very safe gas station, but don't be a dummy and leave your phone and wallet in the car while you go to bathroom (common sense alert). PROTIP. Use cash! Cash gas price is ALWAYS 20 cents cheaper than the credit/debit price. Save dat money. The cash price is a great deal here, and 76 gas is high quality like chevron or shell. If you're struggling you can go to the Arco gas station that's one block away, but I don't like filling my car with poo and neither should you. Also, if you need cash, there is a bank of America literally right across the street you can walk to. This gas station gets my stamp of approval, been using it for years. If you ever see a tall asian guy with a Cadillac at this 76, say hi, there's only one, and that's me. Have a nice day people. Went for gas and the service was nice. The convenience store was tiny and doesn't stock much.

Near downtown and adjacent to Tower theater. It's also a hop skip from the refinery for 76 down the way. Decent prices for off the freeway in the convenient locale. read more

Lazy. Stopped there 10/18 for gas a snack and the clerk was on the phone laughing it up with someone. Knocked on the window and she just turned around, looked, and turned back to her phone conversation. Luckily there's a gas station less than a block away that I will now use instead from now on. Try hiring someone responsible, you'll do more business. Just not from me anymore and I'm sure she's pissed off others. read more

I took my car here for several years, after it was recommended to me by my boss. I was always so happy with Ed and his mechanics, and have only stopped going there because I moved away! The prices are reasonable, and service is fast. My brakes were making mysterious noises once, months after I had them replaced here, and they checked my car out several times without charging me. read more

This is honestly the cheapest gas that I've found compared to the other 76s that's close by. It's even more cheap if you have cash! I just put in gas today with my tank almost on Empty. It usually takes me more than $60 at any other gas pumps and I put in the middle grade. However, I only paid $45 today! I would definitely recommend paying cash for your gas here. Came here on Monday morning before work trying to get an oil change. The guy was great! I told him I had to be at work in about 2 hours and he was able to move some stuff around to fit me in! I was in and out within 30 minutes! He was very friendly (though he gave me a hard time about being a Dodgers fan. ;-p) Would definitely recommend the oil change station if you are looking for friendly and quick service! read more

4:30pm, and the clock was ticking. Only one thing stood between me and a night on the town with my boyfriend for his 'hot date in san francisco' birthday surprise - a flat tire! I know just where to go. I rushed to the 76 station on the corner of 15th and X street, and the mechanic must have known by the determination on my face that this was a pressing situation. He took my keys and just twenty minutes and twenty dollars later the once-damaged-by-a-nail tire was back into the game. Superior customer service AND affordable. Last time I went in for an oil change there were 4 other cars in the garage but they still got me in and out in under 20 minutes. They're really fast, the prices are good and Ed seems very honest. He doesn't try to convince you that you need to buy/repair things that you don't actually need, just to make a buck. I go here for gas on occasion. They seem to always have some to sell when I'm looking to buy. For my money that's about the best you can ask for from a gas station. As far as price goes, they are typically around the same price as other gas stations. Maybe a difference of a few cents more or less. Best I can tell, the gas they sell is precisely the kind my car uses. The pumps they have are excellent. The nozzles fits into the hole in my car every time. read more

As I drove away from home I discovered my tire was going flat. I stopped here to fill it with air only to notice a screw in my tire. I stopped at this gas station to buy an energy drink. I saw that almost every brand of energy drink they sold were on sale. I selected two drinks that were buy 2 for $4. When I went to pay the cashier, the cashier rang the drinks up as regular price without the discount. When I asked about the discount the lady seemed confused and attempted to persuade me that I had the wrong drinks . That the drinks I picked didn't qualify for the discount. When I explained to her that they did, she still insisted that I was wrong. Now she said that the reason the discount wasn't applied was because I didn't have two drinks with the same flavor. At this point I didn't want to try and explain myself any further and picked two drinks that were the same flavor. At this point the cashier had already ran my credit card. I asked if she reversed the charges and she showed me a receipt where she voided the initial charges, but not a receipt showing my credit card number and the charges being reversed. She insisted she reversed it. I didn't attempt to argue with her anymore I knew that the charges weren't reversed and that I would have to check my credit card statement for a double charge. Sure enough there was a double charge with no reversal. Bad business practice and misadvertisement to the consumer. read more

Awesome shop. I was stuck on the freeway and was towed to Ed's. David was the manager who got me set up on a Friday at 3pm. He didn't have to do the job, but saw that I and my family were in a tough spot. His mechanics did a flawless job and got me back on the road within hours. He even called the next week to check on the repair. It is refreshing to see that there are still honest business people left in the world. If I am back in the area, I will certainly visit again. Came back to do the breaks, done in 4hrs. $230- lighter. From a single Mom on a budget for time and $$$... the service was the bonus.
