You can find 800 Degrees in the east end of the strip mall behind the Starbucks/across Lima from Walmart. It's a large and open restaurant with a small bar area. There is a smaller patio for your outside dining option. They have a similar menu and pricing compared to other places like them. We find their salads to be very tasty and consistent. The team here is always friendly and hustled to serve you. The free warm/soft chocolate chip cookies found at the bar are a nice parting gift. In this occasion we ordered a 12 inch Supremo pizza for $17.85. The flour tasting crust is soft on the inside with crispy wood fired texture on the edges. The bottom is firmer without being crunchy. The toppings are fresh. The mushrooms, green peppers and onions have a slight crunch. The pepperoni and sausage have nice meat flavors and a hit of spiciness. Not much cheese. The tomato sauce definitely has a bolder tomato taste. Though the sauce is not applied very thick or plentiful. Cold Pizza Test - the crust got a little more firm and chewy, but not overbearingly. The meats began to step forward with time to marinate - very nice. The vegetables lost some of their crisp and weren't as tasty. Overall not bad. read more

$51 for this... I contend that 800 Degrees is far and wide the best pizza in Fort Wayne, but after our last fiasco about two years ago when the presumed owner acted like a sanctimonious jackass, we have not been back. Fast forward to today and the house hottie wanted to do the humble thing and give them another go (Against my better judgement, but I digress... Happy wife, happy life). I've inexplicably gotten a gluten sensitivity about a year ago (which sucks), so we ordered two GF pizzas. The pizzas are literally half the size of their standard Neopolitan pizzas along with a $4.00 up-charge for GF, totaling $51 for carry-out (just two tiny skimpily topped pizzas, nothing else)... This is a joke right? While the pizzas were good (not as good as their Neopolitan), $51 is laughable and frankly insulting. Wow, this is some "bold" customer price gouging and should piss-off anyone that orders their GF pizza... Albeit I wouldn't expect anything less coming from the guy that treats his customers like ill repute. Needless to say, we are officially done with 800 Degrees... From bad customer treatment to getting bent by over like a cheap Vegas hooker via price gouging, 800 Degrees and its pompous owner can get bent. This is such a travesty because 800 Degrees is an outstanding pizzeria, but there are other solid pizzerias in Fort Wayne that deserve our business because they don't do either of the above. Pizza and salads are always great. The service and lack of professionalism witnessed tonight by the 2 young waitresses leaves something to be desired. Please don't complain about your former customers (multiple instances) in front of customers you are newly seating. It was pretty obvious you aren't happy working here and the lack of service and attention on the patio showed tonight. The food and the work in the kitchen makes up for the lack of friendly service by the front end staff. I'll continue to be a carry out customer, but will not dine in anytime soon after this eve. We walked into 800 Degrees and was welcomed by a smiling young lady at the hostess stand. She let us know we could sit wherever we wanted so we chose a booth. I hadn't eaten here since 3.14 {pie day} last year so we decided it was time to get some yummy pizza here again. We all chose different pies... My wife got the Salsiccia, my son got the Pollo BBQ, and I got the 800°. I really loved the spice on mine but my son's bbq pizza was sooo good! My wife's pizza was delicious as well, but I definitely preferred the Pollo BBQ. Love the casual vibe of this restaurant and we enjoyed our pizzas a ton! So good! read more

Disappointing. Could be a lot better. We came in and were told we could sit wherever. There's an order it yourself side, but it wasn't pointed out that the bar side was full service, which is what we wanted. The teen hostess was too busy on her phone to explain that. Waited for 15 minutes to have the bartender/server to come by. Ordered meatball app. The sauce had a good punch, but I suspect the small meatballs were frozen. Had the Pollo Barbecue pizza with gluten free crust. It was really greasy, although they did a good job cooking the crust. My boyfriend had the Carne pizza, which was OK but super greasy too. Wonderful family-owned business. I love supporting the "mom and pop" shops over the big companies, and this is a great one. Upon entering the restaurant with my family of 5, we were greeted with smiles and the owner making jokes with my kids. He told us we could sit wherever we wanted and I'm so grateful they had booths! He gave us time to get to our table and settled before he came over and gave us the rundown & his recommendations. When we chose our salad, pizzas and drinks my husband went to order at the counter. Here's what we ordered: -Caesar salad: it's a great size to share.. the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 small children) ate a good amount and it was still a little leftover. -Salcicca: this was my favorite! The sweet sausage (which they make) were absolutely delicious. And the sliced garlic took the flavor over the top. Omg I would get this every time. I might add pepperoni to this next time. -Verdure: another delicious pizza! All the veggies were great and flavorful. The white sauce was tasty too. The basil, I believe, was the pesto sauce. Would def get this again. -Bambino cheese: my kids tore this up! They shared 1 pizza (pizza has 8 slices so 4 slices each) and even ate some of our pizza (above.) They also have FREE chocolate chip cookies by the register to just grab before you go. Who does that anymore?? I will return over and over again. Loved seeing the family (even their kids!) working in the restaurant. And I was surprised it was not too crowded on a Saturday around 6pm. Oh, and whatever playlist they had on was FIRE! This was disappointing. I moved to Fort Wayne from Indy and have been trying to find good restaurants to bring my boyfriend to when we come here. Our pizza was floppy, the sausage tasted like it had been frozen for months, and although it was covered in just about everything you could imagine, it somehow tasted flavorless. We added salt to it, and that helped for a little before the salt was drowning in grease layer on top of the pizza. The staff was nice and we have no complaints about the service, but the ambiance was clouded by the wet cardboard -like crust of doom. read more

A very quiet beautiful Sunday afternoon late lunch for the two of us. Absolutely Blessed with Natalia being our server, very professional, laid back and very good communication skills, so pleasant. The quality of the food is above amazing, fresh greens, gourmet cuts of the veggies and roasted pine nuts that blow up on your tongue! Their menu in the restaurant mentions NOTHING about their vegan offerings (sausage, cheese, etc) which was such a disappointment. Why not list this this if you have it? Luckily the person I was with said, "ask about their specials. I think their vegan offerings are specials." So I asked and the server said, "we don't have any specials." Disappointed.
