This place is great! There are so many things to do and it is priced just right. We go there often and spend a ton of time here. The food is great and all of the staff is friendly. 810 Bowl and Billards is NOT a traditional bowling lane. If you want to party more than bowl then maybe it will be the place for you. The place looks great but the lighting, the seating, the equipment, and the maintenance of the equipment brings a whole new dimension to horrible! This is a brand new establishment and the ball return on the two lanes my friends and I were bowling on kept hanging up and the pin setting equipment is ridiculous! Several times the pin reset failed multiple times before setting the pins. On one occasion lane, 12 required 12 attempts before it reset 2 pins! Forget getting any help with these problems! We sent two messages that a mechanic was required and went to the front desk twice for help and still it took more than 15 minutes to get help! I have also never seen pins with strings attached! These strings actually restrict the way the pins interact! The whole system is ludicrous. I also would like to know who the mental giant was who designed a bowling ally where you have to step up two poorly lit steps to get to the approach area of the lane? This arrangement, along with the very poor lighting and the fact that they serve alcoholic adult beverages all but guarantees there will be some major lawsuits in their future! I know I will certainly not be going back to 810 Bowl at Market Common. My friends and I bowled 3 games each and if I had not had to pay upfront I would never have stayed! Went to this place. Will never go back again. Waiter Travis charged my card for someone else's ticket and mine without telling me. Spoke with manager and was told would be be 48 hours before my money would be refunded back. Offered no resolution to get money any sooner after a huge mistake they made. Don't waste your money. Went with friends planning to have a bite and play games for a birthday. It was not busy at all. Waitress ignored us for 40 mins. after we sat down. She never brought menus, no silverware, four of us shared one menu we had picked up off the bar. Food took forever. Ordered fish tacos with mango salsa and they came with canned pineapple, (not even salsa) and no mangos. After dropping off our food the waitress disappeared for 10 mins going to find us silverware. Apparently, the kitchen is really, really far because every trip there took 10 mins. No one likes watching food get cold waiting for a fork. She didn't offer to take a drink order either, we had to ask for a drink after she came back with the silverware. Off she went again, to the far kitchen. 10 mins later, she returned and I asked her if she'd please get the mango salsa for my mango fish tacos. Back to the kitchen for 10 mins and she returned saying they didn't seem to have it. Went away for another 10 mins and came back with chutney and told me it was salsa. Finally, after 30 mins I just gave up and ate stone cold tacos with no salsa. Since it was my birthday, my friend was not happy I'd gotten a bad meal and called the manager over. We had to wait several minutes for her to stop socializing with some customers. I told her that the kitchen was out of mangos, and I was disappointed they substituted canned pineapple and thought she'd want to know. She interrupted me and launched into a scripted speech about how fabulous their handmade salsa is, and started telling me the recipe in detail, instead of just apologizing. Finally I managed to get a word in, and make her understand that their fabulous salsa was actually MISSING from my order. Not getting what you order is especially disappointing for a birthday dinner. She was pretty confrontational and wanted us to wait (after being there 2 hours?) while she launched some sort of investigation back in the kitchen to "see what she could do". (I couldn't pay my check and leave because she was walking around with it, so we were trapped.) I told her: there's nothing to find out, you did not see my meal, it had no mangos on it. I ate it anyway, stone cold, after waiting a half hour for the waitress! And chutney is an Indian jam, not salsa. The kitchen screwed this up and I thought you should know. At this point, after having spent over two hours just to order and eat three cold tacos, I am DONE. Still, no apology from the manager. I had to interrupt her chatter yet again to tell her we had been there over 2 hours, it was my birthday, and we just wanted to go home - just let me pay! Then she decided to void my check. And of course launched into another wordy speech about their great service and how they want us to come back. We had planned to stay and play some games, maybe go bowling, and have other friends join us later. But since it took 2.5 hours to eat a mediocre meal of the same salad, pizza and tacos they serve everywhere else, we had no interest in staying there one more minute. The games area might be nice, but we never got that far! In short - waitress was practically useless, food was mediocre and not what we ordered, "manager" has no idea how to interact with customers. It's like the place is run by people who've never eaten in a restaurant, so they don't know how it works. Thank goodness the company of my friends was great, so even though 810 tried pretty hard to ruin my birthday, they didn't. There are plenty of great places in Myrtle Beach to go out, give this one a hard pass. read more

I recently visited 810 in Market Common for a night of darts and bowling. As you may know, like a shiny new bowling ball, a nice set of darts can be expensive. $86.39 to be exact. Started the night with darts then went to bowling. After getting home I realized I had forgot my darts in the area where I was bowling. I called immediately but upon checking they did not see my darts anywhere. I was advised to call again in the morning.So I did just that and the young lady I spoke to had found that my darts had been turned in. I was so happy! I described the darts to her in some detail and she confirmed they were mine. Not being able to get there for a few days due to work schedule she said she would put them "in the back" with my name on them. When I did make it to claim my darts they were unable to find them. The manager on duty took my name and number and said he would call me when he spoke to the young lady who took my call and placed the darts in the back. After a week or two and not receiving no phone call, I contacted 810 again and ask for a manager. After explaining my situation he informed me that someone had come in and claimed the darts. Besides not asking for I.D. the young lady whom I originally spoke with gave the darts to someone who she says introduced himself as Chris (Me) and described the darts as well. Hmm... something fishy going on here? The only possible situations that make any sense is that an employee with access to the darts stole them or an employee called a "friend" and "hey, there are some nice darts up here, here's what they look like and there's a name "Chris" on them. Come pick them up." Either way it's stealing! And the only condolence from the manager was "Sorry, but we don't I.D. unless someone is picking up a lost credit card or wallet" and said that in a building full of alcohol, games and multiple entrances there are no cameras in the area where my darts were picked up. The fishiness is starting to smell really bad! Are these the kind of people you want to hand your credit/debit card to? read more

First, with half the lanes open, they stick us between two other active lanes with a broken screen. Finally, we start bowling and realize that the pins are on strings and it screws up the way they bounce. It also screws up the scoring because the computer got half of them wrong. To top it all off, the Manager didn't want to hear our comments and just dismissed us. If you're halfway serious about bowling don't go here. read more

Decided to check this place out tonight at around 7pm. When we first got there we sat at the big bar in the dining area. The bar service was a little slow there and our bartender didnt seem to want to wait on us ( i cant remember their name because they never told us) but we were planning on bowling anyway so we went over to the other side where the bowling lanes are. We bowled a couple games and then decided to sit at the bar next to the bowling lanes to have dinner and drinks. Wow, what a difference in service! Smallz was the name of the bartender and he was amazing. He couldn't have been any nicer and knowledgeable. He was simply awesome. We would go back every Friday or Saturday night to see him if we could! The drinks and food were awesome. Go check this place out. Thank you again Smallz! read more

First the best thing about this place is there is No Smoking inside. Had a great time bowling and our server was awesome. The food needs some work. When our pizza came out it looked so good, but tasted awful and so did our burgers. We give 5 stars for the fried pickles and the fries. We will definitely be back, but we will eat before we go. Went here on Dec 15th at 11:30am with 4 other guests from another State. The waitresses here are amazing, extremely helpful, and are extraordinary! The food was also awesome. What was terrible was the two young women behind the desk when getting shoes and paying for bowling. They barely picked up their heads from their phones. We were on lane 10 and it broke down at least 6 times. We had to request help. The young woman with the long ombre blond hair came to assist. She said she had to go back to the counter to reset the pins. Twenty minutes later, we are still waiting for her to reset. We watched her as she talked to another coworker for quite some time. We went and asked her to reset and she stated, yeah, I didn't get to that yet. We had to go to her a second time, and had to wait to get her attention as she was discussing with the other employee where they were gonna party later on tonight after work. She was perturbed with us for bothering her. We will never go back but we highly recommend all the waitresses and the food was exceptional. But, your front staff needs an overhaul. We shall go to Surfside in the future. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. 3rd time back and I don't know why I keep putting myself through the agony. First of all they have a bunch of children running the place and zero organization. You have no idea what line to get in, people returning shoes and pool sticks cutting in front of everyone else, no organization. You have to give them your ID to "rent" the pool sticks and balls but then can't get served at the bar without an ID?! The space between the couches and tables at the bowling lanes is crazy small and not at all comfortable. No one comes to serve you unless you push the button on your screen to call a waiter. Tried to order a coffee drink off of their drink menu and was informed that they were not carrying any of those products yet (even though they have been open for 2 months now). Then ordered a mixed drink, glass had a giant chip in it, bartender apologized, made another one but instead of using an ice scoop, just shoved the glass right into the ice so I can't imagine why the glass was chipped, or even where that chunk of glass that was missing from the first drink went?! This place is a disaster and if they do not figure out something, can not possibly stay open much longer. Def lost our whole party of 8 as customers tonight, will not be back 100% unless I hear of a very drastic change. Will also be telling my many Market common friends to avoid it at all costs.
