I took my wife and children there on New Year's Eve day. Which also happens to be my wife birthday. While there the waitress informed us of a special they were offering where you would get 1 large pizza 12 wings 1 run of beer and two free game tickets. We thought it was a great deal and placed our order We were than informed we could not get it because it was a holiday. 1 st let me say New Year's Eve is not a holiday New Year's Day is. We than ask to speakers the mgr. at market commons 810 billiards and bowling. The mgr was not only rude he was extremely disrespectful to us and made it as though he didn't care about us at all. I would not only not recommend this place but I live here and I will make sure nobody I know comes here period. The owner should fire that mgr ASAP. He was rude to all patrons I see that received an aromatic computer response stating that they answers my wife. Well my wife is not a yelp member and never spoke to anyone at this establishment. Love this place! So nice to finally have live music in Market Common. I was there on a night when they had dueling pianos and it was a really fun atmosphere. Really friendly staff. There is a lot to do: bowling, pool tables, corn hole, etc but it's also a great place to chill and have a beer. The coffee shop is not open yet but I'm excited to try it. Walked over here to the bar one night after king street grille and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I can tell you it wasn't what we walked in to. The bar was huge and only one bartender but he did a fanatic job dealing with the crowd. His service was prompt and his drinks/recommendations were great! The place had so much more inside than I expected. There were board games, table games, putt putt, bowling, and an arcade. The food items were decent too. The crazy mason was inside the door, which was packed. We skipped that. It is definitely worth visiting if you're in the market common. My family and I visited this establishment earlier today. The bowling game was not working appropriately and it took approximately a half hour for them to sort it out. I would not recommend this method if string bowling to real bowling. It was weird. As we were playing the game, our server was very nice. Everything was fun. When she asked us if we wanted to extend, we said yes. We extended for 30 minutes. After that, We were enjoying our game, when suddenly it stopped playing because evidently the lady at the front desk (Kennedy) forgot to extend it. I saw her walking over and yelled to her that we extended it for 30 minutes. She complained to my son that that 'woman' needs to stop yelling at her!! She was very rude, impertinent and unfriendly overall. Her name is Kennedy. There was loud music playing, so in order to save her a trip walking from the front desk over to our location. I was merely trying to save her some time. Upon checking out and putting my shoes on the counter she glanced up with a very dirty look and lightly said thank you. I proceeded to tell her I was not yelling at her. I was yelling to her, in order to save her some time. We were inconvenienced several times with no complaints. I did not appreciate how indignant and rude she was to my son and then to me!! Seriously!? She spoiled what should been a very nice afternoon. This was my last afternoon with my grandsons. Her poor attitude, unprofessionalism, and complete disregard for friendly customers is something that I fortunately do not encounter very often. I am an extremely understanding person. I have been in customer service for most of my life. Unfortunately, this girl Kennedy does not have good customer service skills. She doesn't belong there. In my opinion, if I was her manager, I would fire her on the spot. She was extremely rude. She Never apologized. Her coworkers looked uncomfortable with her too. First visit for me, an out of towner. Like the concept of having so many activities in one area and enjoyed using the pool tables. What needs to be addressed is the staff and lack of knowledge to successfully perform their assigned tasks. My friends and I started with a meal. A question was asked about the wine offerings and he stated that there was only a house white and house red offering. He continued with saying "our wine here is not any good". Little did we know that there was a beer and wine list on the table. There was more than a house white and a house red. We then opted for a mixed drink since we did not care for the wine offerings. Specifically asked for a Texas margarita it they could make one. He had never heard of one and asked for the recipe which was given. When he returned, it was very obvious that regular lime margaritas were delivered to the table. The purpose for specifically requesting the Texas over the lime is the acid content in the lime and the lime mixer that is used is very high and causes some people indigestion. Texas margaritas use orange juice instead of lime and is not as high an acid content. So the meal was just so so. Ordered the spicy beef quesadilla and there was a several pieces of meat that was pure gristle and could not even be cut with a knife. When this was shown to the server? He did apologize bur offered no solution or offered no alternative. As far as eating there again? I made two visits in one day...first and last! read more

Disappointed! Our first two trips there were one an two weeks after the grand opening. These were both pleasant experiences. Good service, good food. Now we visit a couple of months later at the same time of day and sit down at the bar. We were told that there was no service at the bar as they didn't have a bartender on duty. So, we sat at a table and then discovered that there were no table service. We got up and were able to get a couple of menus from the cafe. We then discovered that we would have to order at the cafe and serve ourselves. No server on duty??? Frustrated, we left without ordering. Pretty fun! The bowling was super fun. Accommodating for younger kids, and mini golf was fun. Maybe a little dark for kids under the age of 5 but it was awesome. But, the service was lacking. New facility in market commons with crappy customer service. Waitresses were to busy eating the owners food in front of customers at the bar instead of tending to the actual paying customers. Asked several times for assistance with there bathroom not being stocked with toiletries. I wanted to wash my hands after eating and before bowling and there were no paper towels. I told a bartender and a waitress and they both said they would look into it... during a restroom break I wanted to wash my hands and again no paper towels to keep clean. Then when we were done bowling the same thing occurred. I spoke to a person claiming to be a manager who was rude and inattentive to my needs or requests. I mentioned DHEC and then he became an expert on cleanliness...LOL, what a joke as he became argumentative with me and even more rude. If I can't wash and dry my hands then I assume the employees using the bathroom coming out with dry hands preparing your food and drinks must also have contaminated your food with their filth and germs. We recently had a company event at 810 and it was so easy to plan thanks to the staff at 810. They were amazing all around and as a plus there's plenty of room to mingle and play! We were there for 2 games (1.5 hours) and not one waitress came to our lane to even ask if we wanted drinks or food. The folks in the last next to us, the manager was coming to them asking them if they needed things and apologizing. But she didn't ask us either. We moved to market common 6 months ago and this is by far our best experience going out in the area. We weren't sure about this place the first time we visited but we decided to give 810 a second try and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was questionable the first time, but this time we had great service. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted by Smallz, he was the best bartender we have had in the market commons area since we moved in. He was so friendly and accommodating and didn't rush us in any way. His service is what encouraged us to come back twice in one week, just to see him. He truly is a gem! If he were there every night, we would go in at least 3 nights to go see him. He is awesome!! read more

Lovely establishment and friendly staff minus one male server with a tattoo on his arm. While sitting at the bar we observed him yelling at the bartender and slapping his hands on the bar. Very unprofessional. Again, every other member of the staff especially the server Kristina were so sweet and accommodating. Watching the male server berate the bartender for what seemed like no reason made me very uncomfortable and we felt terrible for her! We'll be back again for the wonderful food and games but hopefully we never have to encounter that particular server again. read more

As a local in the market common area, 810 was one of my new favorite spots in the area. Now that the "newness" has died off, there has been a consistency of bad food and service. The wait staff is not trained and the food is bad. Tonight, we were one of three tables. Took our waiter 10 min to get our drink order. After ordering food, it took 30-45 min for the food to come out which seemed odd when we were the only table of three that hadn't ordered and received food. My salad was lacking in lettuce, mainly consisted of toppings. My friend ordered a bbq pizza and was brought out a pizza with blue cheese crumbles on top and extremely burnt. This pizza does not come w/ blue cheese. After sending it back they then again brought a pizza with raw onions on top. We did not have time to wait for a third. Needless to say, we will sadly not be back. This is the third bad experience we have recently had. Not sure what has happened over the past few weeks. Get it together 810! read more

810 Bowl and Billards is NOT a traditional bowling lane. If you want to party more than bowl then maybe it will be the place for you. The place looks great but the lighting, the seating, the equipment, and the maintenance of the equipment brings a whole new dimension to horrible! This is a brand new establishment and the ball return on the two lanes my friends and I were bowling on kept hanging up and the pin setting equipment is ridiculous! Several times the pin reset failed multiple times before setting the pins. On one occasion lane, 12 required 12 attempts before it reset 2 pins! Forget getting any help with these problems! We sent two messages that a mechanic was required and went to the front desk twice for help and still it took more than 15 minutes to get help! I have also never seen pins with strings attached! These strings actually restrict the way the pins interact! The whole system is ludicrous. I also would like to know who the mental giant was who designed a bowling ally where you have to step up two poorly lit steps to get to the approach area of the lane? This arrangement, along with the very poor lighting and the fact that they serve alcoholic adult beverages all but guarantees there will be some major lawsuits in their future! I know I will certainly not be going back to 810 Bowl at Market Common. My friends and I bowled 3 games each and if I had not had to pay upfront I would never have stayed! Frankly, I have never been happier to get out of a place than 810 Bowl of Market Commons! read more
