I don't have a Dutch Bros where I live so you can only imagine how excited I was to learn that there is one close to my job. I have passed by this one a couple of times and there is always a crazy long line. Finally decided to download the app for convenience. Will never understand why people don't download apps for some of their favorite spots. I ordered my coffee when I was 15 minutes away pulled up to the location parked, so glad I chose Walker because there was a long line in the drive-through, went to the window and picked up my coffee. It did take a little while only because they were training a new cashier and they were going through the whole process of finding online orders with her. Always willing to be patient for somebody that's learning because we've all been in that situation. The Cocomo has been my go to at Dutch Bros for a while. Now that I have one closer to me, I might need to venture off, but the Cocomo with coconut milk, just hits. read more

PSA 1-star review I ordered two large Palm Beaches one green tea with no ice and one Palm beach black tea with ice. The drink with ice was more than 3/4 full of ice, and the drink I specifically ordered with no ice was only slightly more than half full. When I received them, I looked at the employee and said, "Wow, this is new." He offered to add a little more, but at that point I just said it was fine and left. I've been to Dutch Bros many times and have never had an experience like this. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a customer specifically orders no ice, giving them a cup that's barely over half full is pretty disappointing especially when paying for a large drink. Was really ecstatic when i knew this location was opening up. 7.13.26 lordered a ~ Golden Eagle latte in medium, was really good and creamy. Not too sweet. I loved it. Latte caffeine is pretty strong. They don't have a dining area inside. Just drive thru or walk up to grab drinks & outdoor seating area available in front of ordering/pick up window. I was afraid of the stories hearing how long the lines were. I didn't get that experience here since lines are moving a pretty great speed. Don't let the drive thru line worry you of the wait time. Especially now there's a DB in La Habra, not too far from this location since it's both off Beach Blvd. Fast nice & friendly Service. Associates are welcoming. good drinks but tend to be on a much creamier milkier side. They don't offer and food here just a handful of pastry/bread items . FYI. Since this location opened, I never thought I would ever try it out due to that crazy lines. Is it really worth the hype?! One night while coming home from Lowe's, I noticed there was no line. I pulled a U turn and pulled in to try it out. I am not a coffee drinker but my husband is. I got a strawberry smoothie and chocolate shake for my girls, and I got my husband a mocha cookie ice coffee. Even though we were the only ones in line, it took a while to get our drinks. While we were parked, I noticed a lot of chatter amongst the employees inside and it was kind of a mess. I could quickly see why the line is always long. Too much chatter resulting in reduced efficiency. The sipper lids are wide open and can easily make a mess on the car. With three drinks, the girl didn't event offer a drink holder. I had to ask for it. I tried all three of the $8 drinks: 1) mocha cookie coffee: meh. Kept The husband up from 8pm to 530p. Caffeine kick wise- effective. Taste mediocre. 2) Chocolate shake tasted like Hershey's syrups. Melted quickly and did not hold its shake form long despite if it being night time. 3) the strawberry smoothie was so artificial. When it melted, this weird frothy foam floated at the top and only the food color liquid was left. Overly sweet and disappointing. Back to my question, is it worth the hype? The best Dutch Bros I had was 10 years ago in Seattle, before they expanded even more and revamped the chain into some weird party vibe thing. Coffee was strong with wonderfully roasted notes and service was great. Since then, I've tried it in Vegas at multiple locations and finally tried it here in CA and it's still not that good. Drinks are either too sweet or too bland. The coffee just never seems to be strong enough. The lines never seem to justify the drink itself. This is the case with this location too if you're looking for a decent cup of coffee. I decided to try their seasonal vanilla lavender latte and the flavor is there, but super light. It's very milky and I can't taste much of the coffee either. Husband and I are not a fan. The wait was 20 minutes from ordering to pick up at the drive thru, which is kind of ridiculous but some reviews state even worse wait times, so I guess this was an okay wait time. I suspect quality went down when they expanded quickly across so many locations and states. Maybe we are not the crowd for their coffee. You do get more bang for your buck, I suppose, but you're not getting quality coffee, just a sugared or milked up drink. There are some really nice independent Korean coffeeshops nearby that command a little less noise and are pricier, but if you're for a good cup of joe, those hit the spot more. read more

I think we waited in the drive-through for about 10 minutes before someone helped us order our drinks. Audrey took our order and made very great suggestions since we didn't want anything with dairy or something too sweet. I came in on a holiday morning and the drive thru line was moderately lengthy. I chose to park and walk up and I had no problem finding a spot. It was before 8am when I arrived. They were bustling inside the window but I was acknowledged while she was finishing up before she took my order. I ordered and paid in a reasonable amount of time and my hot coffee also came out in a reasonable amount of time. I didn't feel like I was waiting super long. I also wasn't the only customer walking up to the window instead of going through the drive thru. We try to hit all the local Dutch Bros, but this one is definitely our home shop. It's always busy, which tells you they're doing something right. No matter how long the line looks, they get you through quickly, so don't let it discourage you, they really know how to move people. The drinks are always great, and their cold brew is the best. It hits just right without having that overly strong coffee flavor. I occasionally get their energy drinks too, and they're incredibly delicious. The Aftershock is my go-to, but I also really love the Fruit Punch Rebel over ice. We went through the drive-thru, but vibe outside was cool too, a lot of people just hanging out, drinking coffee and enjoying themselves. 1122am, Sunday I entered the queue off of Beach Boulevard (HINT: no queuing on Rosecrans Ave). Let's see how long it takes! I put in an order of of the app to time it from when I took off from the Brea car wash. I've only moved 30 feet so far in drive minutes, haha. Changed my mind after five minutes, left the drive thru wait. Entered walk up queue at 1130am. 1135 am, checked in, order will be called when ready. I'm smelling garbage odor out here... Gross! Music is at a loud level, party vibes out here! Exterior materials are nice... Wood soffit, plaster stucco over stone veneer. Concrete paving. Landscaping has the drought resistant theme, crushed granite and wood chipped ground cover. Composite material picnic table and benches. I'm bored, 30 minutes and counting... I think sticking to the drive thru gets priority IMO. I'm getting frustrated especially in this heatwave. What?! Forty minutes! OMG! Oh, and they messed up too, the Cookie Butter drink didn't make it onto my carrier. There's no label placed on the cup to identify the drink. Once I got home, my daughter said it's another grasshopper. Dutch Bros, that's a 75%, C+, 3 of 4 drinks were correct. A frustrated and disappointed experience. TIP: stay in the car queue, it's faster during busy times. Walk up is not priority, they want the cars moving and out of there asap. read more

this was quite an experience. We decided to walk up since the line for for drive through was so long. Upon walking up we were greeted by loud EDC music and the smell of feces. The smell was so strong and the music was so loud it was very overwhelming. I don't usually mind this type of music except it impaired the ability of the person taking orders to hear properly. We were kind of yelling at each other just to hear one another. Very chaotic start. I believe the someone genuinely took a dump in this drain. You can't sit anywhere outside without the smell invading your nostrils. As for the drinks.. I can recommend the Passion fruit peach lemonade cut with green tea! this was really good and refreshing. The rebel drink though omg, it's like drinking battery acid but i'm sure people like that. Don't know if i will be returning if im unable to go through the drive through. read more

I loveeeee pink drinks!! When I saw that Dutch Bros had a Red Velvet Chai I knew I had to stop by on Valentines Day. My husband got the smooth strawberry lemonade, as he is a big strawberry-banana fan and also wanted a fun seasonal drink. The line here is long but I appreciate the clear signage and that they have staff outside in the parking lot to help control the flow of traffic. It took us around 10-15 minutes to get through the line, so this probably isn't your quick in and out caffeine pit stop. We had a really poor experience at our first Dutch Bros experience. We arrived at 7:45pm tonight and waited in line for the front couple to complete their order. When it was our turn to order, we ordered an iced Golden Eagle coffee. The girl said to insert the card but she didn't know how to operate the ipad. We also scanned the card and she it didn't go through. At the end, she said "don't worry about it" which we had no idea what that meant. Did she charge us? Did it go through? She saw us waiting 10 minutes in the front but didn't say anything so it was assumed everything was ordered. The couple in front got their order. Two other orders that came after us already got their orders. It was 20 minutes since we ordered. I saw the girl leave. There was another girl at the front. I asked her about our order for Irene. She said they were still working on it. Five minutes later, she told us that the payment didn't process and she needed our card again. This took them 25 minutes to let us know that the payment didn't process. I assume this meant that they never started the order either. We just left after that. What a poor first experience to Dutch Bros! read more

The coffee is great, the workers are great, the problem is with the location itself. It was built in a small shopping center so it gets crowded fast. The other problem is the direction of the building. Had they put the drive thru window at the far end of the drive thru instead of the closest side, that would consume some of the queue, but ultimately, this location is just doomed to be crowded. I feel bad for the businesses there, because while they have signs that say don't block the intersections, it's not like people read and follow directions. They also need to have the workers make sure the cars are scooting all the way forward like they did at the beach blvd location. read more

I had an awesome visit to Dutch Bros. Ordered an Annihilator with chocolate macadamia nut, and wow, it was delicious--perfectly blended with a rich, nutty kick that hit all the right spots. The guy taking my order was super friendly, calling me "chief" three times with a big grin (was he laughing at my car? Who knows) and even doing a funny dance like he had to pee his pants (do these places give breaks?) And then there was the dude handing out my drink he was practically hanging out of what looked like a phone booth window, chatting with a bunch of teens like it was the last day of school. The location is a bit difficult since it's at the corner and the line gets very long so you are stuck on the street waiting. Ordered their seasonal mudslide blended freeze and it was very good. The cream top has oreos blended into it. Even though the drive through line is long they make the drinks quickly and bring it out to your car. Today I went to the new location of Dutch Bros in La Mirada. I've been to their other location in La Habra down the street and I liked it a lot. This time I tried the tiger's blood lemonade, except I am not the biggest fan of coconut so it wasn't the best drink I've had. I will be back though to try the other flavors.
