I got my drink and drank it on the way home, but I noticed that the person who made this coffee did not put any syrup or sugar at all, and it tasted like Iced Americano. I made a U-turn and went back to the store to tell them, "This is not sweet at all because you forgot to put syrup." She handed me a new drink without saying "Sorry," and it still tasted bad. This person does not follow any recipe rules even when there are not that many customers in the store. Came here during COVID times, currently only allowing 2 parties in at a time. The line wraps around the building, one party exits, one party enters. I ordered 2 iced house coffees. They put them both in a bag and tied it, then handed it to me. When I got home the coffees had spilt everywhere because the seal on the cups did not seal properly. The sea salt cream was all over the cups. Coffee was all over the bottom of the bag. With only 2 people in the store at a time it was not like they were busy. I've been to many 85 locations and this is probably the saddest one I've been to. There was such small selection of available breads and pastries and I was so bummed. I've never been to an 85 that wasn't stacked. So many shelves were empty and it was just a real let down. But the other reason for two stars was the restrooms. It was beyond terrible. The uncleanliness was wild like something out of a gas station or truck stop. I did not think a bakery would have such horrible upkeep on something like that. I placed a mobile order at 7:30am this morning and it said it would be ready at 7:50. I had something come up at work and ended up not arriving until 9am. I knew my iced salted Carmel coffee was going to be watered down and no longer enjoyable. When I got there I didn't see any drinks ready to pick up so I mentioned that I placed an order over an hour ago. They had my order slip there and I was told they'd remake it for me! I'm not sure if the order was never started or maybe it was tossed because no one picked it up but either way I was very happy to walk out with a fresh coffee! Thank you to the girl who helped me! I am a fan of 85 and have been frequenting various locations since they opened up. I am confident in saying that I know my 85 products. Having said that, this location was disappointing in that their bread sizes were significantly smaller than what I'm accustomed to. Their chocolate chip bowl was at least a third smaller than other locations. I don't know how the portion size works, meaning is it a chain wide decision or per store decision but I was extremely disappointed to see such a dramatic difference. Also, Julio who rang up my order was extremely rude. There was no greeting or even a thank you at the end of the sale. And to top everything off, he over charged me!!!! Ultimately I know it's my responsibility to make sure that I was charged correctly, but I did not want to hold up the line while others were waiting especially since Julio was already being so rude and I just wanted to get out of there. As for products, they had a good variety which was nice. Also, I was there around 8am and was surprised to see it so busy. This bakery is an awesome hangout spot with CHS students and has a nice variety of treats and drinks for a cheap price. Unfortunately the cleanliness isn't the best as a few weeks ago and found a -posibly- pubic hair embedded into one of the cakes, luckily it was visible on the outside so I caught it before it went in my mouth. To add the staff are unprofessional not saying a word to me unless they absolutely have to and ignoring me to chat to their fellow coworkers. I feel that for a chain store, the training of employees should be better than this. customer service was next to none, when asked if they can make a fruit tea drink hot, the lead guy said no, because "If I do it for you, I have to do it for everybody else", what kind of rationalization was that? making a hot tea and pour in flavor syrup was too difficult or for them. before they had the hot sea salt coffee on the menu, I asked for hot coffee with sea salt cream on top, the lame excuse they gave me was "we can't put cold sea salt cream in hot coffee, that will make you sick", please explain to me what part of it would make me sick? you now put it on the menu so it no long will make ppl sick? I love 85 degrees bakeries! They have some bomb Asian bread. My favorites are the milk pudding bread and the cream cheese bread! I prefer the simple ones but they have other good ones like taro, marble and even some with hot dogs. There's cakes, cookies and coffee too. One of the smallest 85C locations I've ever been to. Hubby took me here a few weeks ago because I was craving bread. We arrived here around 6pm and there wasn't a huge selection. A lot of the staples like the hot dog bread isn't even there. Nonetheless, I do like that the bread are all now pre-packed. It keeps everything nice and clean. Hopefully we'll come back at an earlier time when they are more stocked. read more

Online ordering is very faulty. They turn it off when they want, and they also don't update their menu when they are out of stuff. Ordered a drink with 2% milk, upon arrival there was no drink because they were "out of 2% milk" okay so call, or choose another milk. Who just wants bread and no drink? It would've been more ideal , to send the drink with the milk you have available then to not send a drink at all, because at that point, I would've just voided the whole order. 85 cafe is going down the drain. I used to go weekly to get their bread and coffee, and the most recent visit a month ago, will be my last one. First of all, their item shrunk by 75% and the price went up, for example their taro swirl used to be pretty large, the last one I had was like mini sized. All their items always run out, like their milk bread and white chocolate bread. No more returning, all the locations has the same shrinkage of bread size. read more
