Yikes. We ordered pick-up on a Saturday night, which I know isn't *the same* as eating in-house but it's eating in our house. I ordered a Margherita pizza. It was cold when we picked it up. Cold. We picked up the food at 6pm... this pizza looked, felt, and tasted like it was cooked at 1 or 2 in the afternoon... hopefully the same day but who knows. $17. The fried chicken salad my husband had was very basic garden salad, one cold, old, flat fried chicken patty on top, with 1/3 of the small salad dressing container filled. $20. I don't get it... we're they slammed (busy inside but no line but we have no way of knowing their take-out business)... we're they down a few employees... $40 for dinner in Ridgefield is a steal but this was such a disappointment. I've been going here for 10 years. In fact, my fiancé and I had our first date here 10 years ago. The food has always been great. However this time we were incredibly frustrated to see the entire restaurant covered head to toe in awful AI images pretending to be poor renditions of Disney, Marvel, and DC superheroes. Rude server. For some reason our server refused to let one in our party get a sugar rimmed margarita instead of salt. After they said " l'll ask but I don't think they'll do it." I approached them with a tip to accommodate they said the same thing. What ever happened to the customers desire? Is 850 such a margarita bastion that deviance from the norm has a large gatekeeper? Loved The Farm pizza and wood fired Tuscan salad. They only serve small sized pizzas during in - house dining. Great local pizza spot! This place has quickly become out go to pizza place. I've been probably 6-7 times now and have yet to have any real complaints about the place. The pizza is always delicious as are the apps and there is always a great selection of beers (including non alcohol) and cocktails. The outside area is perfect to let the kiddos have some freedom to play while the adults enjoy some good food and conversations. Definitely a must try! read more

Food is good but the service is inattentive. Bartenders and waiters seem to be unaware that they're job is to serve you and make your stay so you come back too. Some over sight by a GM maybe necessary. 3 of 5 is good...but 5 of 5 is certainly attainable. And Ridgefield needs this place to be that. read more

Revisit post pandemic and super glad this place is still around. I highly recommend the super thin crust. If you're worried about it being like cracker thin, it's not that way, it's perfectly thin, crisped crust. Had the lemon, ricotta, arugula added capers. I was with a dozen female family members in town for the weekend. They accommodated us without a reservation and we received excellent treatment. We hung out in the bar area while our table was getting ready. There was a good musician playing acoustic music. We all had drinks while we waited. I had the Pear and Walnut Shrimp Salad. This included arugula, sliced pears, walnuts, dried cranberries, grape tomatoes and grilled cajun shrimp. The shrimp was flavorful. The homemade pear dressing was really tasty. They usually top it with shaved parmesan cheese (I'm allergic, so I asked them to hold it, which they did). The others had pizzas, pasta and assorted salads. They all liked their choices too. Great place to go for lunch! The service was efficient and friendly and the food was tasty! The pizza menu is extensive and they offer three different types of crust. I got a pistachio pizza with their signature crust. My son got a huge entree portion of chicken parm and pasta that fed him for four meals. Have to admit the buffalo pizza (my teenager daughters favorite) is pretty good if you like that kinda thing. Also like the classic wood fired margherita. Mac and cheese however is tasteless but hey, that's for kids right? Decent salad options. Cajun chicken wrap needs reworking in my view. it's served hot (oddly not called out on the menu) off a panini grill and has lettuce and mayo in it. If you can drive an extra 15-20 minutes there's Pepe to the north and colony to the south, both of which are much better quality and cheaper or the same price. I got ultra thin pizza from here several times. They were good, but still can't compare to Colony's. But if you are in Ridgefield area, this might be the best that you could get. If you are not in the mood for pizza, give wood fired salmon a try! It's so tasty. Salmon was pan seared and then finished in wood oven, topped with cilantro oil. Spanish rice was also delicious. I had my rehearsal dinner in the private room at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful night with terrific pizza. Prior to booking our event, we had a lovely dinner here trying a few of their more out-there pizza options. My favorite was the Pine Nut pizza, which was amazing. The Brussel Sprout pizza and the Prosciutto Burrata were also very good though not quite as good as the Pine Nut, which I could not stop talking about days later. For my rehearsal dinner, we had a large private room in a separate building right across the courtyard. The room was clean, spacious, and recently remodeled which made it perfect albeit a little large for our group of about 20. It could've held at least twice that number. We had a very sweet bartender pouring drinks for us, and when the pizza came, boy did it arrive. Everyone must've had at least three or four slices, and we still barely made a dent in it. They were also sweet enough to make gluten-free pizzas for a couple of my bridesmaids. We were all stuffed by the end of the night, and everyone had great things to say about everything we ate, from the pasta to the salad to all the many gourmet pizza flavors. The 850 staff were a pleasure to work with and made the whole process very easy, and the price per person for all that food was very reasonable as well. My husband and I eat a lot of great pizza between CT and NY, and we were really impressed by both experiences at 850. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area! read more

In a town with so many pizzerias to choose from, I always thought Genoa was the best in town. My wife always preferred 850. We had take out 850 tonite. It was somewhat dried out and devoid of sauce and cheese ...not even as good as a Stop and Shop frozen pizza you eat in the middle of a blizzard when you can't get out. As they say even bad pizza isn't that bad. But, even my wife didn't like it and said we're done. Kinda sad the new owners can't do better. read more

Went here on a Saturday around 630pm and was seating right away at a nice table outside. Any waiter that approached us was super nice. Really liked the outdoor seating... it was very open and relaxed and there was a man setting up to play live music for the night. We ordered (for three people): - wood fired tuscan salad ($13) - the artichoke pizza ($17) - the cauliflower pizza ($16) Everything came out soso fast!! And it was all the perfect amount of food.
