    Steak and tempura asparagus

Amazing restaraunt! We had a great server as well. Don't decide what you're going to get until you listen to this specials as there are at least a dozen of them. There will be a new menu coming out very soon and we got to take a sneak peek. Very exciting things on the menu. Try the Corn Ribs you wont be sorry Two people ordered steaks that were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious . Two people ordered pizza that was phenomenal . I ordered the crab and avocado salad which was very good and very fresh .The only downside is there was supposed to be music on Fridays and Saturdays and there was no music. A beautiful restaurant and bar area but there needed to be a little bit of ambience in the form of some sort of music when there is not a piano player working. The bar side area had nice high top tables with chair backs instead of stools which was great thing. Four stars since it was a Saturday night at a piano bar and there was no music and it was not announced ahead of time.

    Shenanigans with the giant bone!

You're missing out on 88 Keys! Great cocktails, great food, great service! We celebrated a friend's birthday there and had a wonderful evening. The special:Tomahawk Steak for two for only $75!! It started with a fried shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp cooked perfectly), Caesar salad for each person, the main course came on a gorgeous huge board that had the steak, mash, asparagus, fried corn bread, a scallop, grilled mushrooms, onion rings, and a grilled onion. Steak was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. Prior to our meal the gave us a huge board of warm grilled pita bread with multiple spread options. They also treated the birthday girl with a chocolate mousse and the Chef was out to talk to us twice. Our server & bar tender were top notch! We ended with night cap at the roof top bar! So fun, so delicious!

    Naan & spread appetizer.

Open on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday night. Seafood special on Friday night. We decided on the 2 for $62 Tbone dinner on Saturday night. Upgraded to tomahawk steak $75. Fantastic! Started with $10 naan & 4 spread appetizer. Beautiful presentation of naan wedges, olives, shredded parm, with house hummus, smoked fish spread, truffle butter & olive tapenade. Shrimp cocktail next, then, dinner for 2 arrived table side on a cutting board. Tomahawk steak sliced off the bone, onion rings, potato croquettes, grilled & tempura asparagus. Delicious! In house desserts of poached pear & tres leche cake were outstanding! Service by Cheryl & Kevin ......Perfect! Can't wait to return for the seafood on Friday!

An outstanding experience all around. Table side service from a world class chef, exceptional staff, and food beyond description.

We recommend trying everything on this specially tailored menu, and can't wait to make the 1000 mile trip back for the next meal. Thank you Chef John !!! Keep.up the amazing work !!!

This is still one of my absolute favorite places in Tampa…read more We always come for the dueling pianos, the performers are all spectacular. They've now changed their system and it is $10 cover, which I think is quite reasonable. We came at 10 PM on a Saturday night, and usually it isn't a cover for ladies after 10 PM, but this happened to be a special night. (It was Latin dance night after and cover increased to $20 at 11 pm) It was still well worth paying $10 for both my husband and me. Especially since the parking garage close by is free. Every song they played for that hour was a banger. They get a ton of requests, so either come earlier and put your request in or be prepared to pay to have your song played. They do try to get to every song and it was quite impressive seeing them fly through the songs of the very end. What really impressed me is one of the pianists learned a couple of songs by listening to them under the staircase and coming back to play it, because he hadn't heard it before. One of those songs was Golden from K-pop Demon hunters, which I absolutely love. I was very impressed that he picked it up so quickly and did a very good job with his limited knowledge of the song. It was a highlight of the night for sure. This place does get busy, but it doesn't feel overly crowded. You may not get a table if you get there late, but there's plenty of standing room and it is easy to get a drink at the bar. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys sing-along songs, so think songs from the 80s and 90s, and enjoys being part of a fun crowd.

Unfortunately this was really disappointing. They charge a cover and drinks are expensive. That…read morewould be fine if the music/show was good. The songs were annoying, singing was atrocious and the attempt at comedy was a horrible. Sample of songs sung; a medley of 80 tv show theme songs, head shoulders knees and toes, Hokey Pokey, shout, love shack, blister in the sun. Argh so bad.

Friends rave about this place. I finally had a chance to go. I called because open table has zero…read moreavailability. The hostess answered and she told me I could have a table for one at 7:15! Ok! I got dressed up and walked over there. My table was ready on time; it was in the lounge area of the restaurant. They offered me the table or said I could sit at the bar. I opted to sit at the bar. The bar was almost full but people were leaving. Apparently people eat early there. The bartender was swamped but smiled and got me a glass of water. Soon I had menus. I like that they have a regular menu as well as a specials menu, including the usual cocktails and some special cocktails. I ordered the conquest, which seemed like a twist on an old fashioned. They offered bread or focaccia bread, I declined. And heads up- bread service is not included. It's an up charge. Normally I don't care but I was having dessert, not bread. I had the halibut special. It was phenomenal. One of the guys from the kitchen dropped it off and asked if I needed anything'- I replied salt. I find that I need salt often at restaurants. They brought the salt out real fast! I had a bite and determined it didn't need any more salt- it was perfectly salted! Woohoo! Fantastic. I ate my whole dish and then I savored my cocktail. The bartender wasn't much for conversation , as she was very busy, alone, covering the entire bar and drinks for the whole restaurant. She did invite me to try dessert, and mentioned a coconut cream cake that was not on the menu. I agreed to it and it was heavenly. Seemed like cheesecake icing with fluffy layers of cake and subtle coconut flakes throughout. The chocolate ice cream was weird at first but then I realized it's like almond joy/ mounds - coconut and chocolate are often paired. The espresso crumble gave it a nice crunch and there was caramel all over the plate. Wow! I took the majority of the cake home. It was a large portion and indulgent. I paid my tab and finished my drink. I was not rushed. I would go back again. It's a bit pricey. The fish special was $58. The cocktail was $17 and the dessert was $16. So one person, who did not add on the bread service, was $91. It's expensive. I would emphasize you can probably get a seat at the bar if you can't get a reservation. Also- the entrance is hard to find. It's in the parking lot and not facing the main road. I got a little lost walking there. The signage is poor. I can't imagine going there the first time in the dark. So give yourself a couple extra minutes if it's your first time going there.
