The bathroom attendant was extremely rude and neglectful. The person REFUSED paper towels was disrespectful. The other women in line were also as baffled as I was when I got denied paper towels. As the night went on the bar became OVER CROWDED. I have been to several clubs in ybor and every time I go to show bar it is terrible. Vomit and pee odor on the floor everywhere. Spilled drinks, under aged drinking, poor service even in the bathroom! The only thing that was good is we reserved a table and had a lady doing table service who was very generous and took care of our orders and checked on us regularly. Even the lady doing the table service seemed uncomfortable and annoyed with the way this place was ran and how they allow the behavior we seen. People were OVER SERVED. Several people throwing up all over the venue is unacceptable. EDIT FOR MANAGEMENT: In the bathroom the attendant was passing out paper towels to everyone but not to us. With witnesses. Fact. We came to Ybar City as tourists and randomly went to Showbar on a Saturday night. It was so fun!! They had such a great DJ on Saturday who played my type of music 2000/2010s radio hits. I loved it!! No cover! Drinks were great, especially the fishbowls. The bathroom lines weren't too long. There was a separate room for standing room only clubbing vs. near the front that had a space, but also bar seating, table seating, and bleacher seating. That was fun! read more

They over pack the place. Zero breathing room at all and you can't move an inch in any direction once inside. The bar was near impossible to get to cause no one could move to let people up there. Friend got yelled at by the staff for using the bathroom...for some reason? They said she couldn't use it (after she used it with no issues - it worked fine lol) but never said why and then started yelling at other women for trying to go after her. I give it 1 stars because they actually had the audacity to tell us to leave our table for bottle service. I called and asked if they required a reservation and they stated that we did not. Been here a couple times to see one of our friends perform. In the past, we had no problem with service when reserving a table. They typically came to us first. However, recently went and it was a whole different experience. I understand it was extremely busy, but we were left for a good chunk of the night and the people who just came in off the street were getting better service from ordering from the bar. Would not recommend. Consistently allow underage attendees with Fake ID's. I didn't believe it myself until a co-workers daughter showed me her fake ID. Her friend took a video of their entry. Definitely entertaining. We had a reservation and a table right up front when they opened at 7pm, the show started a bit later. The performers were top notch and totally amazing. It was a show! The food was great- we had the table nachos which were huge and are served upside down, they pour them from a bucket in layers. We actually ran out of chips with a ton of toppings left. The fries were good and everyone at the table had items that ranged from the corn dog to the Cobb salad. All happy. Ok, so we're in a pandemic & trying to find that balance of being safe & supporting local business, right? I turned around at about 9pm and was super overwhelmed at the packed house behind me, those seated were rightfully sans masks, but everyone in this place is JUST SO CLOSE. There were a mass of guys that were congregated at the bar as well (Showtime did intervene and asked for people to find a seat at one point). Plus, i had a vent blowing on me from overhead. Ok ok why 2 stars you ask? Weellllllll, I was in awe in how absolutely amazing the pianist were throughout the show and how accommodating they were to song requests! 10/10 to the hard workers on stage! I truly wish we would have came here sooner because as soon as 10pm hit all of the college kids hit the bar and as my husband said "if we hadn't already gotten covid we definitely will now". The security guy started taking bar stools so our seats were uprooted and by this point we were all packed in like a can of sardines. Not only that but our bartender also juked us and charged us for drinks we did not order after waiting for 20 minutes for her to check us out as she was too busy attending to the college boys. The club that adjoins this one was even more packed and although I'm pretty sure that side was more of a dancing type of situation they too were sardines waiting for their slice of pizza to escape them from sweat and overpriced garbage drinks. There was really no taste. Shrimp was better (flavor wise) but very oily. Lastly, they gave us the worst place to sit. We were seated adjacent to the stage which meant louder music and side view of the gals. I really couldn't see anything other than their bum lol. Overall, come for the show. I am officially kicking myself for how many times we've walked by this place and never went in. HOLY WOW! This was a literal show from the time we walked in until close. We're talking confetti canons, amazing talent, crowd participation FOR DAYS. We planned on popping in just for a drink while waiting for Prana to open and ended up staying until close. Three members of our group ended up going next door and paying the high cover for Prana for and ended up coming back after less then an hour. The girls working the floor are upbeat and positive and just can't take care of you enough even with only two of them being on the floor. This is officially our new favorite spot in Ybor! read more

I've been here several times and it's great. I'm not an Ybor after dark person anymore so I've only been here during the day. They have a heavy pour and a literal liquor buckets. The vibe is divey Ybor. They've got an outdoor area with its own bar, bathrooms and some covered areas. The service is ok the bar was about 1/3 filled and there were 2 bartenders so they were quite busy. The beer selection was no frills cheap beer. So if you're a miller, Budweiser, or yuengling person you'll be ok. I will probably come back here if I'm doing daytime ybor because my friends love it. read more

This place was OK. Not great, but OK. We had two drinks, to the tune of $26.84. I only had a couple singles, so I put them with the tab and added a $3.00 tip to my credit card bill. I always keep my receipts so I can reconcile my credit card statement when it arrives. Well, when I just got my statement, I see "Roosters Show Bar" and a charge of $33.54. So in addition to the $5.00 tip I had given ($2 cash, $3 on card), the server (Sarah) added another $3.50 for herself. Not a bad gig if she can get away with doing that several times a night, assuming not many people pay attention weeks later when their statement arrives. Shame on her! My phone went missing while I was at the bar with several friends. When i asked to look around for it, the staff would not allow it and insisted I had to return the next day. The bouncers got rough with me and pushed me out the door, threatening me when I held my ground and demanded to be able to look around. When I came back, the bar was not open the hours posted online and I had to wait several days for the bar to reopen before i could check back again. They have no way to call to talk to someone and they don't respond to emails. Of course, when i was finally able to get someone to look, no one had seen it. If you're looking for a fun time at a piano bar, Showbar is your place. I arrived around 9pm for a friends birthday. They reserved the large booth and there were several other tables reserved for large groups. This reservation also includes a server but it's a smaller place so the bar is close. The music is great and it's all to the talent on stage. Things to note: 1) drink prices are ridiculously low. I got a vodka bucket for $10 and didn't blink to order a second. They had a bunch of other fun buckets and large drinks to share with multiple people. 2) staff is super friendly and have a great energy. 3) there is a lot of confetti and fun, but caution if you order food and drinks (see picture). 4) this place does attract the 18+ crowd so at a certain point there was a lot of younger students hanging out and crowding the place. The side bar with picnic tables was packed and the piano bar section was receiving the overflow. It got a little crowded and people were just walking around and bumping into you with no where to go. Came out for bottle service with the girls. We had A table near the entrance that was raised so we overlooked the whole interior. Server was friendly and helpful. We split a giant solo cocktail that was big enough for about 5 people. It came lit up with a light saber, colorful rubber ducks and plenty of silly straws to share. We also got one bottle and was given a complimentary bottle of champagne as a part of their current bottle promo. The server also asked what we wanted on their light up sign and when they brought out the bottles they had their strobe lights and popped confetti which was cool. We had plenty of glasses, ice and chasers to keep the night flowing. As far as music we came on a Saturday night and inside it was dueling pianos until about 11-1130pm. You can request songs for them to perform but honestly after about an hour we were kinda over listening to the same 2 people sing every song. The space inside is kind of tight, be sure to reserve a table but all areas should suffice to hear them, and the entertainment is more than just dueling pianos, there is a third piano at other end of show room, a percussionist, guitarists sometimes pop up in stage, and they get around the crowd for full fledged immersive fun. The table nachos are a must, more enough for 4, also entertaining presentation. Service was lacking a bit, even though there were many servers in the floor, they only checked on our table in the entire 90 mins we were there, we had to get there attention to get the check sadly. read more
