    Yellow curry with rice
    Kelly L.

This food truck has simple Thai food menu. They have all staple dishes like fried rice, pad see ew, pad thai, mango and sticky rice, curry, etc. Most dishes are between $11 to $15 depending of your protein choices and generous portions. We had yellow curry with tofu with rice, fried rice and pad see ew. Everything is tasty!

I noticed this food truck while visiting Venice Beach and decided to give it a try. A huge deal for me as I simply stay away from food trucks. The electronic menu board posted outside, clearly displayed the numerous items avail as well as prices. The employees working inside of the truck were very friendly and ready to serve. I also had several questions regarding ingredients as I dislike soy sauce and anything salty. I was assured my dish would lot have either. My wife decided on the pad see ew and I decided on the Pad thai w/chicken and tofu. Ten minutes after placing my order, I was advised my order was ready. When I picked up my order, everything was neatly packed in a go to bag and it was HEAVY!! My meal was DELICIOUS!!! It was fresh, heat hot and well prepared. The chicken and tofu were perfect. I love to eat and really do I not finish a meal but this was that rare occasion when I was only able to eat half of my meal as the portion size was huge. This was a positive dining experience

Pad see ew is amazing !!!! So good ! I highly recommend. My Apartments had them come to food truck night. And I think it's the best food truck that has come ! Really great Thai food !

Ohhh yes, this place is the best Thai food on wheels! 8E8 is a staple at the Ivy Station night markets on the second Fridays of each month and it's quickly become my go-to there. All the food is so fresh and delicious, served steaming hot. This Pad Thai is some of the best I've ever had, with a generous amount of sauce and protein if you add meat. I've also tried Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry here and both are outstanding. Everything is packed with flavor and (I know I already said this but it's so true) fresh, which is impressive coming from a food truck. The service here is always so friendly and prompt and I love that at the night markets, you can bring your food over to Los Angeles Ale Works to eat with a drink.

Awesome food truck! Ate for lunch in West LA. Friendly service. The line moved really fast, which was great! Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, etc. I had the spicy Drunken noodles, which was a large portion size, and they were delicious! Noodles were cooked and flavored perfectly with veggies and chicken. Overall I highly recommend checking them out, and I will be back to try more dishes!

Great prices, portions, they run out really fast! Got their pad Thai so worth it, great sauce and seasoning. Could eat the whole thing in one sitting.

First time trying it and got the basil beef fried rice. It was honestly so good that I put in the effort to write a yelp review, which is saying something. People are nice and super fast to get you your food.

This is my second time trying the food truck at work and ordering their Pad Thai - it's delicious and really filling! Will definitely have leftovers. I did think the pad Thai may be a little on the oily side. I also think my order may have been overlooked, as I ended up waiting quite a long time.

Pad see ew and drunken noodle
    Pui L.

This food truck was at Thai Fest by the Beach in Santa Monica. I ordered drunken noodle and pad see ew, which I recall was about $13 each, without meat. It took about 10 minutes to get my food. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion and the food piping hot. Both were very delicious. The drunken noodle has a good spice level and I'm quite sensitive to spicy in general. I had the pleasure of watching the chef cooking the noodles on their big wok with lots of fire. I don't know when I'll get to see them again, but I hope they can go to San Gabriel Valley area.

Really great Thai street food truck. If you see it parked nearby, I highly recommend stopping by. This food truck was parked outside the Runway and Playa Vista. Whenever we see a new truck around this area, we're always interested in trying it out, and this day was no different. We grabbed a few popular items to go: Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pineapple Fried Rice. The food was fantastic--better than delivery Thai food, likely because it's cooked right in front of you and eaten shortly after. The Pad Thai could compete with any in the area, and the portions were generous for a food truck. The staff was really nice as well! I definitely recommend stopping by if it's in your area.

Spicy Dunken Noodles with Beef were soooo good!!

The food was very good. Rice noodles were cooked perfectly and the veggies were a great addition. My only complaint is the scant amount of beef. For $4 extra I feel it should have double the amount.

I don't know if they take reservations so call them. We waited only about 10 minutes for a table. The place is small, but ever so cute and clean. It has interesting art on the wall that you will enjoy. The seating is comfortable and spacious. We love the service, they were very nice to us and got our order right the first time. I loved their hot tea. All of their curry dishes are great, we have tried them all but the tofu as we don't usually like it. We love their starters. They have great egg rolls and spring rolls. Their satay is so cute and it is tender. Their cream cheese wontons are super tasty. We also love their shrimp dishes, they are all great. The prices are fair. Have fun.

Although her tone already made me uncomfortable, I still politely followed up and asked whether it was made with coconut milk or regular milk. She then replied, "Right, it's coconut milk." Food allergy questions are never "stupid questions," and I believe most customers would appreciate a restaurant where servers can answer them with basic patience and professionalism instead of attitude. P.S She literally let the door slam on us while I was trying to push our double side-by-side stroller through the entrance. (She was outside while we're entering.) It felt incredibly rude and inconsiderate, especially seeing a parent struggling to get through the door with kids.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was good, got great, I would consider this modern Thai, some of the dishes had extra ingredients that were not as common. They put more vegetables in there dishes, like their Pad thai, and Pad see Ew. They definitely put a lot of proteins in there dishes, packed with chicken and beef depending on what you order. The wings were good, the pineapple fried rice. They have a Thai, Alfredo pasta dish which was different but my family really like it, especially the kids. Nice regular drink and beer and wine, good deal on the drinks. Overall a good experience, i think a little overpriced for the portion size, but still tasty food. Parking in very difficult in Glendale, and again, not the biggest place, so not the best for group over 8. Dragon Egg approved.
