    Chicken wing Saugus style
    Cynthia S.

No reservations. So just walked in at 6pm and put my name on the list. Host said it's around 45 mnts (Saturday night) . Waited at the lounge Forbidden city and quite surprise with the mai tai. Better than what I expected. The Jin tiki is a a bit off balance, too much orgeat. I also got scorpion (for 2 people). Small tight drinks menu, good enough for me. Probably 30-45 mnts, host told me that table is ready. I just carried my scorpion mug (in a shape of bring good luck cat ) with me. Ordered chicken wing (Saugus style), 3 cup cod dish and also shrimp with lobster sauce. Chicken wing is good and tasty Unfortunately both of the main dish is too salty. 3 cup cod is so salty I just can't eat it without gulping water. Shrimp with lobster sauce also salty but less. The flavour is okay, it just the salt is too much. Service is great. I think the server is Rafaela.

We arrived at 5pm on a Friday and there was plenty of seating. The host was friendly, and Rafaela, our server, was attentive. We sat in an intimate semicircle booth. The ambiance is mind-blowing, the art is gorgeous, nothing like this can be found elsewhere in the Seabrook area. We ordered a Mai Tai ($13) and it was made perfectly and was quite potent. Two of ththose knocked me on my ass. The food was average. My Vietnamese Steak was overdone and the portion was tiny for the price. The $6 side of rice was dry. The wonderful manager stopped by and confconfirmed that the steak wasn't up to standard and discounted our check. I would return only if I had a good night at the casino. Otherwise, there are better value options in the area. However, I highly recommend The Lounge. It's cozy and intimate. Enjoy!

Food was delicious and our server was great! Will definitely be back again soon. He made losing all our money at blackjack more bearable

House fried rice was absolutely delicious! Everything cooked to perfection!

9 Dragons is located inside the Brook casino. The decor is pleasant as was our hostess. We arrived after five on a Thursday night and it was somewhat busy. Our waitress was prompt and took our drink order. Husband had a ginger ale and I ordered their Mai Tai. Mai Tai arrived in a slim frosted glass with a beautiful flower. I found this drink a little too sweet. We ordered boneless spare ribs, fried chicken with a sweet chilli dipping sauce and the house fried rice. Ribs seemed to be of poor quality, very fatty in parts and the meat itself was hard to chew. The chicken was not fried correctly. It's was very doughy and not crisp at all. The fried rice was excellent! Cooked perfectly with plenty of shrimp, meat and vegetables. Overall, I expected the food to be much better. Maybe it was an off night but I don't think I would return.

This is now officially my go to Chinese spot!! I loved everything about it, from the second you walked through the casino you could tell it was going be a great experience. Went around 6 pm on a Friday night and we were able to get a table without having to wait. The service. Shoutout to Cristina her knowledge, warmth, jokes, and smile made our experience unforgettable. From stunning LED art to the vibrant decor, every detail designed left me in wow. I give the you 9 Dragons in seabrook, New Hampshire What we got: Dragon of the year A classic Mai Tai, elevated. They're comparing 9 Dragons to Kowloon in Saugus, MA. 9 Dragons is nothing like Kowloons. This new restaurant is very good on its own. However, their menu is incredibly small with limited choices. What we ordered was very good with a great presentation. Our server did a great job. The place is nicely decorated and very comfortable. If go there thinking its Kowloon's twin, you'll be disappointed. Go there to try a new Chinese restaurant. It is on the pricey side. Dinner for 2 with no cocktails, was just under $100. Bon Appétit!!!

We heard about 9 dragons on the radio and my husband and I had a great laugh since we didn't expect the food to be any good. We had been to Kowloon years ago, and the food was so so. I googled 9 dragons and out popped some gorgeous photos of the place. My husband remembered the space as the old racetrack and was curious as well. This weekend we stopped in to dine and was blown away by the decor. This is a gorgeous restaurant. Lovely photos of Chinese movie stars and an ongoing video of an old film. Neon signage. It is pure Hong Kong inspired nostalgia. The menu carries crowd favorites such as General Gaos chicken- light not greasy delicious, the boneless ribs-or char siu in Chinese served with a fresh made mango salsa and a crispy scallion pancake . Food was very good and prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality. And the service here was wonderful.

The service was great and our server was amazing. The ambiance was a little bar feeling with lots of wood tables which I liked. Now let's get to the food.. Pork buns: the pork was cooked perfectly and the bun was nice and soft. The sauce went well everything and it's a great starter dish. Spicy Kimchi Ramen- this consists of pork belly, pickled mushrooms, kimchi and fried garlic. The ramen was really good and had a lot of flavor with just the right amount of spice from the kimchi. Perfect for a cold day! Colonel Sanders Ramen- this had a pork broth with fried chicken and was delicious and moist. Also had corn with Vermont butter which you can taste through the bowl. This dish was the highlight for me and I'll definitely be back again. If you're in Salem, MA and are craving ramen then be sure to give this place a try.

This is a unique establishment in Salem, as it is two restaurants in one: Bambolina for pizzas,…read morepastas, and Italian fare, and Kokeshi for ramen and more Asian options. After seeing the price of the wood-fired pizzas and their actual size as they came out of the oven and were delivered to tables around us, my friend and I decided to stick with the Kokeshi side of things. We ordered an appetizer of Shishito peppers, which were outstanding: I did not know what to expect and whether they would be spicy or not, but these were perfectly roasted with soy, ginger, and scallions. I would 10 out of 10 order these again. For my main dish I ordered the spicy white kimchi ramen, which had Tokyo wavy noodles, roasted pork belly, cilantro, corn, spicy marinated mushrooms, scallions, fried garlic, and cilantro oil. Wow! What a flavor combination! From savory to spicy to sweet to smooth to crunchy and crispy. Overall it was a pretty perfect meal. In terms of the atmosphere, we sat at a high table in the middle of the restaurant, which gave it a more family atmosphere vibe, sitting right next to others. What I particularly loved was the 90s hip-hop soundtrack playing in the background. Notably, it was not blaring loud so that you had to yell to hear the person across from you (always a pet peeve of mine at restaurants). Our server was friendly and checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. This was my first trip to Kokeshi but it will not be my last, as it has become my new favorite restaurant in Salem.

The interior is quite spacious with plenty of sunlight, and even when we left it wasn't very busy for a Sunday around lunchtime. I ordered drunken noodles with steamed tofu and left pleased. The server didn't ask me for spice level, but it definitely had a kick to it, which I appreciated. The duck noodle soup sounded like it'd be a great, unique dish - but the duck is probably best left to dry noodle dishes, where it can remain crispy. In the soup, the duck lost its texture and flavor. The other classics that the group ordered (deluxe pad thai, chicken pad see ew) were all satisfactory.

I ordered the Crispy Duck Massaman Curry (gluten-free) with potatoes, carrots, onions, and peanuts. The portion size was excellent and the flavors were tangy and comforting, though I wish the peanut flavor was a bit stronger. I ordered level 4 spice and should have gone with a 5. If you like heat, I recommend at least a level 5. I am very particular about duck since it is easy to dry out, but this was crispy yet still moist, which impressed me. It was a bit pricey at $27.95, but understandable for duck. The waitress was delightful and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I will definitely return.

I stopped by for late evening takeout recently and picked up an order of Chicken Pad Thai ($10.95 plus tax), which was ready in 10 minutes. The portion of Pad Thai was good, which had a mix of red & green peppers, onions, sprouts, egg, ground peanuts, tender soft slices of boneless chicken, lime and soft cooked noodles, which had a slightly sweet flavor and a wet texture, but not overdone. I plan to return to Golden Karma for lunch takeout very soon to try out their Chinese food and bento boxes.
