Not a bad choice on Pompano Beach if you want Sushi and a beach walk afterwards. Service was good, but we noticed some of our rolls were salty, which I have never experienced before. Presentation is great, but the rolls were not spectacular, just decent.

yummy Absolutely love this fresh place 9face sushi. The ladies are always so bright and happy and the food is spectacular! My daughter is a sushi connoisseur and got me eating sushi. This is by far my favorite place to go with her and it's right here at the beach next to Briney's. They have a nice selection of sakes as well and the vegetable fried Rice is unlike any fried rice I've ever had. The roll was superb !!!

Best sushi restaurant in Pompano Beach. Lovely small location near the beach. Always fresh and delicious. The servers and managers are ALWAYS friendly and working hard. We have been regulars here for several years. Seating outside is very pleasant and allows for some interesting people watching

Absolutely fantastic! Fish quality is incredible and everything tastes super fresh! 3 rolls and an app left my friend and I completely stuffed! Great quick service while you eat outside and enjoy the views.

9 Face Sushi Cafe is the best sushi restaurant in South Florida. Although the restaurant is small, their food is out of this world. I am extremely picky when it comes to eating sushi, especially raw fish, if it isn't "fresh off the boat", I won't eat it. 9 Face Sushi is the freshest sushi around. The specialty rolls are not only delicious but are large and filling. I have ordered the lobster roll, phat boy roll, bonsai roll and a few others & have never been disappointed. Everyone who works there from the sushi chef to the servers are very friendly and treat you like family. I highly recommend 9 Face Sushi, to anyone looking for good fresh sushi.

Great little sushi spot in Pompano Beach! I enjoyed both of the rolls I ordered, and my husband enjoyed his Thai noodle dish. The food was made to order; it didn't arrive at the table in a hurry, which I appreciate. The service was good, as well. There are tables outside, so you can people watch while you eat. Although you can't see the ocean, the restaurant definitely has the vibe of being in a beach town and close to the water. Surprisingly, the prices were also very reasonable! We will be back.

Rolls from front to back are: Soulmate, Phat Boy, and Lucky 13

The staff are always kind and welcoming, and you truly feel like you're transported to Thailand from how authentic the food tastes and the vibe in the restaurant. This time around there was barely any parking available in the shopping center but luckily there was only a wait of about 20-30 minutes. We were seated, greeted and served very quickly. This time around I came with a few friends and to start we had the papaya salad (not spicy {we forgot to add spice}), and the chicken wings. Both dishes were very fresh. As my main dish I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with shrimp and one of my friends ordered the Pad Thai with chicken (spicy). Both dishes were incredible and I would order them again. To drink I ordered a Thai iced tea which was rich and silky. And for dessert we shared an order of the mango sticky rice which was so flavorful and delicious.

The only thing I didn't like about it was them hurrying us out. As soon as we finished the food, the waitress asked us "nicely" to leave so they can service the other people waiting. We weren't planning on lingering, we hadn't even finished our drinks yet, so it felt a little rushed. When my friend decided to finish her wine before we got up., they stood around staring at us until we were uncomfortable. I will come back for the great Thai food. Just have to set my expectations that it's not a dinner experience.

I was warmly greeted and given menus and water right away. I sat at the sushi bar area as I was by myself. I reviewed the menu which had quite a few yummy sounding dishes. I was craving sushi so I ordered 2 rolls and a jasmine tea with Boba. The food came out relatively quickly. The Tuna tasted very fresh as did the rice. Overall for 2 rolls and a drink my bill came to just over $20.00, which is pretty good. I could smell someone ramen which smelled amazing. I look forward to going back to have dinner there.

I had some expectations considering that most elites were raving about how good this place was. My first impression of this place was that wow this place must have been in the same spot for years with a lot of regulars. Interior seating seemed limited, but while we were there, there were consistent togo orders so the limited seating did not keep people away. Our server was welcoming, patient, and friendly. She was there a second before we needed her, she cleared our table before the next dishes arrived, and we didn't feel rushed but well cared for. We ordered the hamachi jalapeño, crab Rangoons, donkatsu ramen with pork belly, tuna, chutoro, and Otoro nigiri's. We also got matcha's for Togo. Two things that stood out to me, one, the prices were super cheap, and two the nigiri's tasted surprisingly good for their prices. Overall I was thinking that this must be a hidden gem in Pompano Beach area that not too many people know about despite the restaurant having been there for years. I wasn't too hungry today but my fiancee and I were already talking about coming back here to try some of their rolls next time. Yes I recommend this place to others!

The service was top notch. You can tell they care about their customers. I had the Tom Kha soup with shrimp as an appetizer. I was instantly impressed with the quality of the shrimp and the flavor of the soup was on point. I have had this at other places and the shrimp typically comes overcooked and rubbery. These were large tender, juicy shrimp and cooked perfectly. The sashimi was fresh and larger than usual. The wasabi was the only let down being grainy and not mixed enough. Maybe an off day. The restaurant doesn't have a bathroom. They allowed me to use the sink in the kitchen to wash my hands. I would gladly patron this restaurant again and recommend it to anyone driving down Ocean Blvd between Deerfield and Pompano Beach.

When I walked in, I was honestly surprised that there was no one there during lunchtime. I sat by the window, and the first thing I noticed was a dead bug on the side of the window, which was a huge turnoff. The waiter came over and took my order. I got the spring rolls and the vegetable Pad Thai with no egg. The food was actually delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. One thing that disappointed me before ordering was that I was expecting a lunch menu because that's what I saw online, but there wasn't one available when I arrived. I ended up packing the rest of my meal to go and later had it for dinner the same day. Overall, the food was very good, but because of the cleanliness issue and the disappointment with the lunch menu, I don't think I'd go back.

For my entrée, I ordered the red curry with fried tofu and added broccoli for an extra charge. The dish was prepared exactly to my requested spice level and well balanced with a nice kick without being overwhelming. The rice was soft and fresh, which is always a must for Thai food. All were extremely tasty, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We loved the sauces they brought over. The ONLY thing I would say that I deducted a star for was the beef, as it was definitely overcooked and a bit chewy (they didn't ask how I'd like it cooked, but next time I would ask for it medium rare). Nevertheless, I was hungry so I ate all of it. But It was not "tenderloin-tender"...sauce was amazing, which kind of made up for it. I think we sopped up every last drop of that sauce. Lunch for two including 20% tip: $100. Yes, pricey, but quality is everything, and honestly--worth every penny-- and I would love to come back for lunch during the week from $14-16. We love the fact they advertise NO seed oils and for this reason alone, would make this a part of our monthly lunch treat.
