We have come here serval times and everything is always so good! The pad Thai is excellent, the sushi fresh and tasty, fried rice full of flavor. You just really can't go wrong. Not to mention its convenient location so close to the beach. 9 face gets a thumbs up all around from us! Just don't get there at closing time or respect their last call. They mean it when they say last call. Other than that be sure to give this place a try! read more

Excellent food and service - great for outdoor dining especially since we had our dog with us. But seriously if you're in the area, go grab a shrimp tempura appetizer, a monster roll and a veggie yakisoba with some cold beer in here. Yum! read more

The sushi is excellent and I highly recommend the hustler roll with the spicy kimchi sauce. Even if you don't get that roll; you will love that sauce. You hear from patrons "I'll be back tomorrow" and you will see that happen. The service is wonderful and the food is so good; you won't regret this spot! read more

I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. We made a reservation in advance but it was empty enough that we didn't need one. The food was nothing to brag about, the sushi was okay but the Yakisoba noodles were salty and undercooked. The service was awful. Our waitress needed to be flagged down to take our order, we didn't get a refill on our drinks because she never came back until we flagged her down again for the check. If you don't pay in cash there is an upcharge! Because we waited 40 minutes for our waitress to come back with our check we just handed her the card and missed that. The decor is nice and it's close to the beach, so that's a plus! read more

One of the best sushi places I've been to not only because of the food but because of the staff, they are SO welcoming and so attentive to you. We've been coming here often since it's not far from our home and we love it so much. Best Thai tea around, the sushi is very fresh, the food selection is delicious. One of my favorite places to have sushi, great time as well to go out and be with friends! They treat you like family! read more

costumer service is terrible. the employees couldn't handle a party of 10. they failed to give us clear timing of when we'd be seated and then when we could be seated they told us "if you're hungry leave". i appreciate the honesty but... who's going to eat at a restaurant like that? not me! read more

I'm so grateful that this establishment survived the pandemic. My go to for sushi when in Pompano Beach as it's a 5 minute walk from our family condo. Family owned business with warm smiles and greetings when entering. Small number of indoor tables with additional seating outdoors on the sidewalk. I typically order food to go-spicy edamame, a variety of sushi and a specialty roll. All are expertly prepared and incredibly fresh. The warm sake doesn't hurt either while I wait for takeout. Service is attentive and expedient. read more

We stopped here for the first time and seen they had great reviews so gave it a try! Sushi was fresh and delicious! We ordered two rolls, side salad with ginger and miso soup. Everything was tasty. Only thing I probably wouldn't get again was the salad because the ginger dressing was too chunky stringy and needs to be purée more. They have outside and inside seating right near the beach. Not only do they have sushi but also serve hot appetizers and dinners too! We definitely will come back again to try other items on menu! read more

This was the best Sushi I've ever had. For a small shop, you won't get anything better for the price. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good dinner. My girlfriend and I came here for a date night on vacation and left in a food coma. Staff are super nice and helpful--great service. Brought my wife in for her birthday we had a amazing time. Always a great vibe. waitress made lemonade from scratch was so fantastic. Sushi chef made some very nice spicy salads as a sample and were so good. Pad Thai was fantastic. Love this place. read more

Walked into the place sat at a small table it took 15 minutes to get the wait staffs attention and ordered two glasses of wine. Many times we tried to get someone's attention to order food with no luck. A man sat next to us 20 mins after we arrived and order an appetizer and an entree. We finally flagged down a staff member and order two sushi rolls. The man received his food he ate and we still were waiting. An hour later still no food and couldn't get anyone a attention. I went to the cash register and paid for the two wines and asked where was our sushi they looked at me like they didn't know. No apology etc was given. Walked out 5 minutes ago walked into Mora Grill and already are eating and was welcomed with open arms. Would never go there again. read more

Good food, but absolutely the rudest sushi chefs ever. We are locals who go regularly, but I will never go again. The sushi chef kept blowing an airhorn in my ear. It was horrifically disruptive. I'm sure he thought it was hysterical, but it wasn't to me. I told him to stop blowing the horn in my ear. When I got up to leave, he blew it in my ear and just laughed at me. So, so rude. I will never go back, and I'll let all the residents in my building know how these people treat their customers. read more

Awesome place with friendly staff!! Love this place. My absolute favorite has got to be the phat boy roll. Oh my goodness it's so good! Love that it has a crispy outside yet raw fish on inside. I also love their salmon sashimi - always fresh. We also love the red face roll, the spicy Yellowstone, & the hustler roll. Also if you are lucky they will give you a little white fish cup appetizer with spicy sauce! read more

Great place right on the beach. Staff is extremely friendly. Fish was fresh. They even brought out some salads that were complimentary. No idea what they were, but they were so good! And a nice change from the normal salads sushi places serve. There were sesame seeds on top though and it had a spicy dressing. We had the Bonsai rolls which were great so definitely recommend that. The seafood fried rice platter was great too if you're not in the mood for sushi. read more

Sushi was not good or fresh. We got a salmon avocado roll. There was barely any salmon and mostly rice. We were told there was an upcharge for avocado which is expected however when the bill came, they charged extra to put rice on the outside which wasn't our choice. We ordered a specialty roll we didn't eat since the tuna was gray and it tasted fishy. There are plenty of good sushi options in the area. Stay away from here read more

While the sushi is good, service is horrible. Especially take out service! We placed an order, were told it would be ready in 25 minutes, 30 max, and then watched 3 other groups sit down and get served before our order was ready, 40 minutes after we ordered. We'll find another sushi restaurant in Pompano! read more

We went to 9Face Sushi today. We ordered the Tom kar soup, ginger salad, and the soulmate roll. Everything was delicious! The salad had the right amount of ginger dressing. I find that most restaurants have the salad swimming in dressing and I don't like that. The soup was super good. I love the coconut and lemongrass flavor. The roll we picked was the soulmate. It was delicious. We had overall a great experience. Our waiter was very kind and respectful. Fully recommend it read more

My friend stated that they must have changed the chef bc she was not pleased with her order either. It was too much sweet mixed with hot. The lunch prices are good and o just wish the food matched. This is a thumbs down for me. I love to support local business but won't be back unless I see something different. I am always willing to give a business the benefit of the doubt but when a regular patron says they've changed completely, there has to be a reason.
