Awesome, fun, delicious spot! Staff is friendly and attentive and they play fun music inside. They give a lot of food for the money too - each sushi roll was around 8-12 pieces. I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. We made a reservation in advance but it was empty enough that we didn't need one. The food was nothing to brag about, the sushi was okay but the Yakisoba noodles were salty and undercooked. The service was awful. Our waitress needed to be flagged down to take our order, we didn't get a refill on our drinks because she never came back until we flagged her down again for the check. If you don't pay in cash there is an upcharge! Because we waited 40 minutes for our waitress to come back with our check we just handed her the card and missed that. I'm so grateful that this establishment survived the pandemic. My go to for sushi when in Pompano Beach as it's a 5 minute walk from our family condo. Family owned business with warm smiles and greetings when entering. Small number of indoor tables with additional seating outdoors on the sidewalk. I typically order food to go-spicy edamame, a variety of sushi and a specialty roll. All are expertly prepared and incredibly fresh. The warm sake doesn't hurt either while I wait for takeout. Walked into the place sat at a small table it took 15 minutes to get the wait staffs attention and ordered two glasses of wine. Many times we tried to get someone's attention to order food with no luck. A man sat next to us 20 mins after we arrived and order an appetizer and an entree. We finally flagged down a staff member and order two sushi rolls. The man received his food he ate and we still were waiting. An hour later still no food and couldn't get anyone a attention. I went to the cash register and paid for the two wines and asked where was our sushi they looked at me like they didn't know. No apology etc was given. Walked out 5 minutes ago walked into Mora Grill and already are eating and was welcomed with open arms. Would never go there again. read more

Good food, but absolutely the rudest sushi chefs ever. We are locals who go regularly, but I will never go again. The sushi chef kept blowing an airhorn in my ear. It was horrifically disruptive. I'm sure he thought it was hysterical, but it wasn't to me. I told him to stop blowing the horn in my ear. When I got up to leave, he blew it in my ear and just laughed at me. So, so rude.
