Been wanting to try this place for a while, and the lunch did not disappoint. The flavors were so unique and delicious. If I can recommend anything it would be the Muhammara dip. It's made with walnuts and pomegranate and was tart and so good!!! The Champignon sandwich was also delish, along with the Provence flatbread!

Lunch time visit. Place looks nice and clean. Chill relaxing vibe. Food was good as was cocktail. Shared flat bread and had a side of soup. Would go back in a heartbeat. Bar area is pretty. Staff was friendly enough.

One thing the Medure team knows how to do is elevate simplicity. Saleya is a stunning new addition to their portfolio offering a fresh and light lunch. They have a lovely focaccia that is used for their sandwiches and bread service. I enjoyed the Niçoise salad with tuna and a vinaigrette. I think it's important to note that I had a salad after the lettuce and produce recall started happening, and remained healthy and parasite free. The decor and lighting are beautiful.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff here. They quickly made room for a last minute birthday celebration for a party of 12. We were warmly welcomed w a glass of champagne and the staff was very attentive for the remainder of the time there. The sandwich was def the star of the show! Everyone that ordered it raved on and on. The meatballs were a little spicy and I wish that had been disclosed on the menu. The stuffed tomatoes were divine!! The kids in our group got pizza and it was fresh and the sauce (which I'm not a pizza sauce girlie) was amazing. Thank you for being so good to our group and the experience was amazing.

Visited with my husband, son and his girlfriend. This place is fantastic. Friday at 1:00. We were seated immediately and served water. We all started out with cocktail Spritzes which were very refreshing on a hot Florida afternoon. For lunch I had the Riviera salad and the rest of my party had various sandwiches. The bread was incredible and made in house. My salad was very filling and flavorful

I REALLY wanted to love this place. Was excited to have a spot close by with freshly made bread and mortadella options. One of my favorite sandwiches is a pistachio pesto mortadella with Burrata and was hoping for something similar bursting with flavor. The porchetta was fine but not great. Wish it had more oomph. My rule of thumb for sandwiches is there shouldn't be more bread than filling. As for the Il Fruttetto it was also fine. Maybe more cheese and sauce ‍ to give it a punch up. The house made bread was great! Also, loved the corn soup. Always a pleasant surprise when sandwiches come with a multitude of delicious side options. Service was excellent and it's beautifully decorated.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Saleya! The violetta was so yummy. I can't recall the name of the cocktail I ordered but it too was nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. The inside reminded me of a cafe you might wonder upon on the Mediterranean coast. It was so cute! The staff were working as a team and very pleasant. I hope to get back here soon!

Beautiful restaurant! Waking in i already liked the place, it's upscale but still kinda casual maybe comfortable? We got there early to try their Apertivo Hour, with food and drinks special! Great prices to be able to try a lot! My favorite way to order, a bunch and sample everything. Everything tasted wonderful! Really going for the Italian vibes, foccacio bread, lots of olive oil, cheese all over! I particularly loved the ricotta toast with green chick peas. My Negroni was delicious! With the branded ice, so cool! The mayport shrimp dish was fresh and very flavorful! Ended with the almond cake, which the cake itself was excellent, moist and loved the pine nuts added. Great addition to Jax/ San Marco!

The newest addition to the Medure brothers' repertoire of restaurants in Jacksonville. Nice little restaurant in the heart of San Marco that makes you feel like you're dining in the French Riviera. Fast and friendly service. The potato and leek soup was smooth and silky. It doesn't have the chunks of potato that I'm used to, but it has great flavor. The pasta salad had tomatoes and green beans with a pesto dressing that was really good. The lamb wrap was mediocre, probably wouldn't order it again. I will definitely be back to try the salads.

I wish I lived closer to this place. I'd spend my entire food budget here probably. We started off with the hummus. It was great! But even more than the hummus I loved the bread that comes with for dipping. The za'atar seasoning is my favorite and they do not skimp! For lunch...I am usually a sandwich girl, so it took all my will power to give something different a try today. I tried the Poulet Salad and wow! The chicken tasted fresh, the lettuce was crisp and delicious, the grapes were HUGE and fresh. There was also celery and radishes. My only complaint is that I could have used more radish. This isn't a knock on the restaurant. I just LOVE radish. And I'm certain with the level of wonderful service they have here, if I asked for more radish they would have obliged. I also got a lavender latte to go. Their lattes are so good! Perfectly cozy for the gloomy morning that was happening. A further note on the service... everyone we encountered was just lovely. Super knowledgeable about the food. And very on top of everything. Doing it all with a smile too. The restaurant itself is such a good vibe too. It's clean, decorated beautifully, and I love the different seating types. And the tables feel far enough apart that you're not in anyone else's business by accident lol. We didn't sit there today, but I really like their bar seating. Seems kind of diner-esque. I'd sit there if it was just me or me with one other person. Now that I've ventured out into their salad and I know it's great, I can spend my next few trips here eating my way thru the rest of their sandwiches. Their sandwich bread is to die for and all the ingredients on it are too!

We went to dinner here and got the warm focaccia as an appetizer, this was so tasty! For the entree I tried the Torchia Pasta and my fiancé got the Sausage Rigatoni. Mine was good but when I tried my fiancés dish his was AMAZING. I regretted not getting his In my opinion, the restaurant has beautiful coastal inspired details, and I loved it! I plan to visit again.

Wow! This place is fabulous! I'm already ready to go back to try more! All of it was amazing! The waiter was very attentive and kind. The hostess was warm and welcoming! It was not crowded when we entered at 6:30 but it did fill up quickly. The drinks were delish! And normal prices. We had the marinated olives and onion toast for appetizers. They were super good! And great size portions. We all loved our entrees, they were very flavorful and great prices. We had the lemon tart and pear cake to share. They were all delish! They were great sizes for individuals or to get a couple to share. It was such a cute inside, it was loud but manageable. Maybe just don't go there on a first date if you plan to talk a ton.. I'm looking forward to my next visit already!

The short rib. Smells just like grandma's house for a holiday meal. Delicious!

As a kid I loved to drink Coca-Cola. Pepsi? RC? Dr. Pepper? Nope. I was team Coke all the way. So I was quite skeptical, back in 1985, when Coca-Cola introduced new Coke. "It's better!" they said. It wasn't. And after a few years, new Coke was gone and we were back to the delicious original. I'm a huge fan of Rue Saint Marc. Scott and Gabby have created a culinary masterpiece and I've truly never had a bad meal at Rue. So I have to admit, I was somewhat skeptical when I heard that they were opening a new restaurant. Would Saleya Riviera Cafe turn out to be another new Coke? Well, I'm glad to say, it's not, and Saleya is definitely worth checking out! The space is bright, open and dominated by a fabulous bar in the middle of the restaurant. It's a different vibe from Rue, and that's a good thing. As Chef Scott explained, Saleya focuses on foods from the C'ote D'Azur - which I looked up and saw is an amazing looking region on the Mediterranean Sea. And now ai have to go there and see it! We were at Saleya for dinner with some friends. As always, Gabby has created a wonderful wine and cocktail menu, and my wife thought that the Cantaloupe Island drink was particularly good. For our meal, my wife ordered the golden beet "carpaccio" and the lamb rigatoni. I tried the marché salad and the braised short ribs. The golden beet carpaccio was delicious. I was never really into beets as a kid, but this dish is a good example why you should give this vegetable a try! The balsamic and pine nuts and cheese really add to the beets and it is a delicious dish. The vinaigrette dressing on the marché salad is light, and the spring mix is really good. There are several lamb dishes currently on the menu, and the rigatoni did not disappoint. The pasta was fresh and the lamb was tasty and not overpowering. Chef Scott said that the menu will change with the seasons, and it'll be interesting to see how the dishes change as we get into spring and summer. To me the star dish of the evening was the short rib. A deep unctuous beef flavor, combined with a heavenly aroma that transported me back to childhood and smelling a roast cooking in my grandmother's oven for a big holiday meal. It's a hearty dish with potatoes, carrots and onions. Simple ingredients that are prepared well to make a truly lovely plate. And it paired really well with a glass of the Malbec. We were far too full to try a dessert, but I have no doubt that all of them are delicious. New coke left me flat. Fortunately Saleya Riviera Cafe is a bright, bubbly and excellent addition to the San Marco food scene!

I'll let the photos from other reviews do the talking, but if you enjoy a good backstory, ask about the history of the space. My mission for the night was simple: end the evening with a great gin cocktail. I started with the Donna Bella from the menu. It was well made, but I thought the bitters were a little too forward for my taste. Next, I asked for an off-menu modification: a Water Lily for Teresa, but made with Roku Gin. It was a strong contender--aromatic, balanced, and beautifully floral. If you're a fan of a French 75, this is a fun cocktail to explore. It's less citrus-forward and leans into a floral profile with a character that's hard to compare to anything else. For the final round, I went with bartender's choice. Mick asked a few questions about my flavor preferences and absolutely nailed it. They crafted a cocktail with Roku gin, snap pea cordial, aloe liqueur, egg white, lemon simple, mint, and citrus that was easily the highlight of the night. Fresh, layered, and memorable, it's a drink that deserves a permanent spot on the menu....Mission accomplished. If you're willing to wander beyond the barbershop business front and you consider yourself a spirit explorer, Volstead is well worth the visit. Go for a round...or two. If you're local, this could easily become your staple spot. For what it is, strong craft cocktail bar option. Bartenders choice is the way to go.

The house band is pretty good, a little bit on the young side, but they seem to get the job done. OK. After the house being played a set, they had a sit in sessions with various musicians, which is always nice. The atmosphere is subtle and quiet at least for a club. Location is great, and the staff seemed friendly. It's good to have a place in Jacksonville with an environment like this and a place where you can go and listen to jazz/blues. I wish there was more like this, maybe with a little bit of older, jazz, musicians and more people who appreciate jazz as it didn't seem like the audience was 100% jazz lovers, but that doesn't detract too much especially since there's not a lot of places in Jacksonville that do what they're doing here.
