This was my first time using 911 Houston Movers and it won't be the last. I've always used 3 Men Movers and also Einstein Movers. Both of those companies did a great job but then you're presented with a big bill. The total cost to move a one bedroom 1,000 sq foot house (no appliances) was close to $900 with Einstein and 3 Men Movers. 911 Houston Movers billed me $420 and they did the same quality job as the other two companies. I used two movers instead of three and I couldn't be more pleased. No damages to the house. Nothing was broken. They worked smart and swift. This is my second time using their service. They were fast and efficient and handled everything with great care. They arrived on time, brought their own truck with ramp, and all the moving tools needed. They used moving blankets and shrink wrapped around items so the corners would not damage the walls or floor. I moved yesterday and can honestly give these guys two thumbs up. They were on time, got right to work and busted their bums to get me moved as quickly as possible. They also took the time to wrap my furniture before loading it, then set it up the way I had it in my old place without me having to say a word. Fantastic attention to detail! I was a little hesitant to use them because all communication was done via text, but they are incredibly responsive and honored everything they said. They were available by phone on the day of the move and called me 30-minutes before arriving, also answered quickly when I found another item that needed to go after they were on the road to the new place. They were great from the time I contacted them. Confirmed the day before the move, called 30 minutes before arrival and showed up on time! That alone is awesome but they work fast, effeciently and hard. They were extremely polite and willing to move anything additional I needed. My move was about 15 minutes short of an additional hour and they tried to pro rate it before I told them to round up to the hour. Could not have asked for better service. HORRIBLE!!!!!! WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE! Let's start off with the lack of communication from this company. I had to confirm with them twice when, in fact, they were supposed to confirm with me in regards to my move. After confirming, I then had to text and call them the day of the move after them being 2 hours late. After they arrived with an unpleasant attitude and disposition, They were very slow in regards to moving my one bedroom with minimal furniture to another apartment on the same property. They were very aggressive with my items ( broke the hamdle on my brand new "Sofia Vergara" dresser. Before moving my dresser, my husband asked if ​they needed to remove the drawers, so it wouldn't be so heavy. the mover responded that it would be fine and they had it. When trying to carry it down the stairs, they tried dragging it and was told several times not to do it. They were also disrespectful in regard to my space and time. Loud, abrasive music playing from their phones. Because they were so careless with my items, several things were damaged, spilled, and broken. They did not move my clothes, stating that they didn't move clothes. After speaking with the owner, he claimed he told them to move the items. They were never touched. Toward the end, they intentionally slowed down with only carrying one box at a time to drag it to 5 hours. My dresser was not reassembled, and my husband had to end up fixing it. This has been the worst moving experience I've ever had. Please do yourself, Favor, and book with someone else. JP Movers had to come in and finish my move. read more

I arranged my move a week prior to the move date. I received a text message with a quote for 2 men and one for 3 men. The rate was very straight forward. There was a flat rate for the first 2 hours and then the remainder of the hours were at a hourly rate. On the day of the move, I received a call telling me that they were on the way to my home. The 2 guys who arrived were very pleasant and moved everything that I needed quickly. They were sure to take care with my refrigerator by taking the handles off to get it out of the door. Upon arrival to my new home, the guys unpacked everything quickly. Again, they took care with my refrigerator as it had to go to the second floor. They had to take the doors off and re assemble the refrigerator. I was very happy with my move. read more

Additionally, they broke a lamp and scratched my hardwood floors in 3 different places, and did not tell me. I understand that these things happen. However, you should at least be forthcoming about them and not leave "surprises" for your customers to find later. read more

Friendly, quick and affordable movers! We had a great experience with their team from scheduling to our actual move. I also asked them if they could move 20 cases of laminate from our garage to our upstairs and they did without question, even though they're very heavy. It absolutely made my day to know that was done and I wouldn't have to hurt my back doing it myself. We moved our one bedroom to a house and it only took 2 hours from start to finish and we moved 30 minutes away. They also took great care of our furniture, including our 55" inch curved TV. They disassembled my furniture and made sure to wrap and secure everything nicely. They were easy to talk to and highly attentive to labeled items and boxes. I experienced the worst customer service ever. After waiting hours for them to show up, I decided to call and figure out why I haven't heard from anyone. When I talked to the owner he said that his guys would show up in 30 minutes, 10 minutes later I get a call from the movers saying they'll be 30 minutes which turned out to be longer. I can only guess they forgot they had me scheduled cause I never got a confirmation call the day before. Bear with me I know this is a lot to read... lol. So they get to my apartment and start moving my stuff, which I had already wrapped to save time and possibly money. Then one of the movers breaks my TV stand, which I know was a mistake so I wasn't too upset with him, cause it's only material things and we all have bad days. But the most upsetting part was when I spoke to the owner and he was trying to rush me off the phone saying he was busy instead of trying to resolve my inconvenience in a respectful manner instead of constantly talking over me. In the end I only paid for the $100 for the service because he deducted the cost of the tv stand, which probably wasn't deserved but the movers did work despite the mishap. But I really expected the matter to be handled more respectfully than it did being that the reviews are so good on yelp. read more

I was kind of in a bind of needing to move two GIANT storage units out of my storage space by Monday, and they were willing to come Sunday morning to move everything, along with bringing an extra truck and man for the crew in order to save me a little money, which is why I gave them two stars. Let me explain the two star review after they were so nice to help me out: I've been unpacking things that they moved, and some of my great-grandmother's antiques were broken, which I specifically pointed out multiple times that almost everything they were moving were antiques and family heirlooms that were very dear to my family (and quite expensive to replace, if even replaceable at all). Plus, I've found random things (including glass) that weren't boxed, somehow, and set off to the side, which promptly fell upon moving things because I didn't know they were balanced against the boxes. Lastly, in the pictures it shows men in uniformed shirts for the company, but the three extra guys that showed up with Michael were in regular clothing, as though he picked up them up by Home Depot to move things. All in all, Michael was super friendly and prompt about getting things done, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. The guys helping him didn't seem to be very professional, nor very careful with my items, even though I labeled my boxes "Fragile" and "Be Careful When Moving". It's just very disappointing and heartbreaking over items that should've been handled so much more carefully, and I asked to do so. read more
