These guy are awesome. Aziz is always going above and beyond to take care of my car. My first time dealing with him, I brought my car in to get new brakes. He worked me in that day and the car was ready in a few hours. Just as I was driving away, Aziz ran after me saying my tail lamp burned out. After asking me to wait a minute, he ran back, got a new bulb and changed it on the spot. No charge! He always does things like this, throwing in extra things as he notices them. My fiancé had needed a new battery and he changed hers out on the spot. Then topped off her fluids, fixed a small panel and replaced some stem caps that were missing at no charge. Then he replaced another one of my brake lights, no extra charge for any of these (beyond the battery installation). Aziz and Fred (second in command) are great guys doing good work. I have a manual transmission 96 Integra that I just don't want to part with (low miles/original owner) and I really trust them. A friend who moved up to Portland had been using them for years so they came highly recommended without me using Yelp. She drove to them whenever she needed work done even though there were many places closer to where she lived. THAT says something. If they're very busy and you ask, they'll give you a ride home so they can get to your car when they have the time. But I highly recommend making an appt. read more

I've taken my Jeep to Aziz and his guys since I lived in the n'hood. Even after moving to Hollywood, I still take my Jeep to him for service. Why? Because everyone there is honest, fair, hardworking and understands that working people need working cars. They also completely diagnose a problem and then repair it. I live within a mile from A&A and came to them with a whining noise in my engine that could have been anything and I would not have known the difference. I first met Fred who assured me the would check it out and get back to me. 1 hour later Aziz called and advised I needed a new fan belt for my bimmer and maybe in 6 months or so I may need a water pump but not now. They have exceeded any expectation from a mechanic place. I went there with loud clanking from engine compartment and was hoping it wasn't anything major. They checked the car out for at least half an hour and gave me a detailed list of things that are wrong with it as well as prices. It turned out to be that my long time Audi threw a bearing and the only way to fix it was to replace the engine. Luckily I came here because they also found major issues on my poor car and suggested to not fix it, but get another one due to how expensive parts are on these cars. Wow, this has to be one of a kind place that would be so honest and upfront. I will follow their suggestion and will without a doubt come back again. read more

Wish I could give them at least 3 stars but I can't. Long story short, had to take my car to another mechanic because turns out they didn't put the correct size tire on (waited 3 weeks for the tire after all that) and they didn't re-install the sensor correctly. This new place I went to took only 1 day to fix and they included a wash before returning (review to follow after). I give this place 2 stars because they were pleasant but service was below par. Plus, the station is at a 76 Gas Station on a corner where a few homeless people hang out. Not good feng shui for a business that wants huge clientele. read more

Aziz is so honest and so clearly has the customer's best intentions in mind. I have a crappy old 1997 civic which often has little things that break down or wear out. He is so helpful in finding a balance between what I need to fix to drive safely, and what is financially worth investing in an old beat up car. He could have charged me a lot more at times for bigger fancier repairs, but instead he encouraged me to do what was more practical and realistic (and ended up being much cheaper too!) I'm so glad I found this shop! Really can't recommend them enough. read more

This is horrible place, don't think of giving your car here. I left my car for check engine light to change the coolant , they said they put new coolant but I after 1 mile drive again check engine light, I paid 200 dollars for that, one more time went there they made some minor fix still after some time again same problem. read more

I have an old BMW car so it needs a lot of work. I've brought it to dealerships for a long time and the price at A & A is extremely lower for sure. They are honest and so nice to work with. My old dealership had a list of what I needed done and at A & A I didn't tell them what needed done and they never added anything extra. The people who work there are nice and take the time to explain things to you. My boyfriend, friend, and I have been going to them for a while now with our old cars that need regular maintenance and can't complain about them. read more

the nicest guys! my car battery died at an intersection near their garage AND my cell was out of commission. not really knowing what do, i went over there asking about using a phone to call aaa or something (i didn't even have cash for a payphone call.. jeez). fred brought out a portable battery and gave me a jump. car made it about 15 feet before dying again, not even clearing the the turn i was trying to make. i went back to get him, he came out again and drove my car into their garage with the hood open and battery attached. he charged it for me, told me what i needed, gave me some prices (very fair, btw), and let me use the phone to figure things out. my bf is able to replace the alternator, but i wanted to do something for the help. i offered him some cash, to buy the guys lunch.. but he declined. gave my car enough juice to get home and here i am. i will absolutely keep them in mind for future needs. good people, totally helped me out of a jam. read more
