Chris Wilson Returned on March 6, 2025, fixed the problems with the toilet, and showed the new apprentice the mistakes the apprentice made yesterday. Chris tightened the top of the toilet, even though it moves a little. Today A&A did the annual inspection and Chris had his apprentice flush the water heater tank, which A&A installed years ago so well. He went above and beyond when he fixed my garbage disposal by checking out the underneath. Great job! read more

Needed to replace my two water heaters. They gave me two quotes, one for a Rheem water heater $8700, and to replace with same brand Bradford White which lasted me 15 years $7800. I ended up buying the two water heaters at Fergusons for $603 each, expansion tanks and all new piping for additinal $900. Installed both water heaters in less then thee hours. Total cost was less then $2100 and they had to do was install as they were already removed due to a leak. A&A plumbing refuses to give a break out of the estimates. read more

Unfortunately they have a nice and friendly staff, but they did not appropriately address the issue I was having. I called them to my property where they inspected my drain out and told me everything looks fine and no visible clogs were present (didn't charge me which I thought was more than fair). Gave me an expensive option to pull toilet to look further into the issue I had been experiencing but plumber told me he didn't think it was necessary since he didn't see any clog from his camera snake (he also claimed to have tested the problem toilet with his partner that day & water was running smoothly). 4 days later my 1st floor completely flooded from the clog that was not addressed (all my flooring was destroyed). I hired another company to take a look and he could clearly see the clog from the same drain that was "inspected" 4 days prior using the same camera snake (did not have to lift the toilet to see the clog)....he was surprised this company missed it and also added that when simply testing the toilet, the clog was also obvious to diagnose. All this to say, the staff was cordial, but not very thorough & perhaps not very experienced in all matters when it comes to appropriately diagnosing & addressing issues. read more

I had a clog in my main line , Edward and his partner were able to fix the clog in a short amount of time and were able to get me the best price , they even walked me through how to get the best coupon for the service I needed, because I couldn't find the coupon online they had mentioned , they found it for me using my phone took a picture of it and applied it to my pricing . They did a full scan of the house and offered free advice on any other plumbing issues I needed , I didn't have any but they were very knowledgeable. They took a camera and used a tool to bust the clog and check the pipe for other clogs , they gave me the clear and told me I was good to go, took less then 45 min and they were able to keep the bill under 100 which was great for me My drains fixed and my wallets happy I'm gonna use these guys again for sure if I need another plumber read more

I needed a new water heater and a small leak at the meter. A guy and young woman responded. They were punctual. He seemed experienced, I don't know enough about plumbing to judge what was said. The plumber sent me a detailed invoice of what would be fixed. She didn't put the aerator back after checking the water pressure. Finally, the plumber asked me to sign 3 items on the iPad that look like stuff for financing but had zeroes. This was before I got the estimate. Not thinking, I signed it. I called the company up and ask them to delete the pictures and signatures. A woman stated its part of the database now so no. I worry about that. I have to say this company has extremely knowledgeable employees! I had a couple of estimates to get a gas line installed and the first plumber that came out from this company was so knowledgeable and took me through every step of the process and explained the how's and why's in detail. He gave me an estimate before he even left my house. We ended up going with this company because I felt comfortable knowing every step of the process, the costs, and most of all Mario knew what he was doing. I did get a message from Mario saying he wouldn't be able to do the job the next day, since he was still working on a job he was already scheduled to do, so I was a little worried about not having him come back. But I trusted him and he had only good things to say about the plumber coming in his place. Well, I have to say, Chris really exceeded my expectations! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable as well, but also as kind, friendly, and thorough about every step of the process too. We found a leak on Sunday night, made an appointment online for Monday, and by 7:45am on Monday Liz (the dispatcher) let me know that a tech was being dispatched! Called out A&A to help clear a clogged residential main drain line. I explained how a competing company had promised to come out late the previous day and assist us, but wanted to charge a $99 after-hours "emergency trip fee" (in addition to cost of work) and then after almost 7 hrs of waiting with NO UPDATED ETA (and 4 hrs past our appt time) simply FAILED to show up! A&A promised they would fit us into their sked that afternoon and even showed up 5 hrs AHEAD of time! Chris and his assistant were onsite promptly, quickly and correctly assessed the problem, and had us fixed up in less than an hour - they were GREAT!! Additionally, we got timely and informative email updates both before the svc appt (including a photo of Chris so we'd know who to look for), as well as after (including a detailed write-up of the work performed and "sewer-cam" photos of the cleared drain). Today 5/28/24 we had our electric water heater replaced by A&A Plumbing. David Smith, a Master Plumber and Evan came out to our house and had to remove our old water heater that was broken. They also had to bring our new one to code. These two young men are extremely professional and hard working individuals!! I called them our saving angels's It was 115 degrees outside and humid at 2:30pm and these two were digging and working to get our pipes replaced and pressure up to code. I originally had another company scheduled to install a new water heater but it turned out to be an emergency and I would have to wait another 4 days for the replacement. Time was of the essence as my garage was flooding w/water. David Smith and DS were professional and reassuring. DS immediately came in and started vacuuming up the water to put my mind at ease. David Smith discussed the various options for the replacement. Not only did I get a premium water heater (Rheem) but I also saved $400 by using A&A. The other company also told me they would have to cut into my wall to remove and replace the unit. This task was ultimately going to have to be repaired at MY expense. Whole house replumb. Used A&A Plumbing due to a glowing review from a friend who is extremely discerning about contracted work. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get the same individual to do the work. Biggest issue was the lack of respect for our home and treating it like a trash can. Copy and pasted from the email to them regarding issues: 12 cigarette butts found Area behind washer (lines don't allow drywall to sit flush) Area behind master sink, lack of insulation, fixtures are not secure Master closet (non-insulated lines) Area behind refrigerator (lack of insulation, mess) Undersink (Badly mounted fittings) Behind fridge to master toilet (Fitting not secure, no insulation) Guest bathroom mess Guest bathroom non-centered plate Guest bathroom gap under shower faucet Partial insulated lines, didn't clean up in the attic (plastic from insulation, sections of cut PEX, insulation) Lines to shower run backwards (I did say it was okay to 'fix it' like that) Lines mounted in a way that they protrude passed the studs (some cases further out than thickness of drywall) Washing machine hook up backwards When attempting to find a leak from the install, they pried up the AC return grille Scratched a brand new refrigerator by manhandling it instead of adjusting the leveling feet Glass coffee carafe broken in the sink, nothing mentioned For the lines in the attic, I had to go back and re-insulate them as they installed the clamp in the insulation so the lines wouldn't be fully insulated. Large sections of lines were left uninsulated by the soffit vents causing them freeze over during the last freeze. Most of the issues were addressed that are shown/described only after calling/emailing to point it out. If you do go with them, make sure they are doing it correct and double check everything they do. If Kyle is still there, ask for him. read more

Called A&A and they were able to get a plumber out the same day. Service calls are $19.99 Mon-Fri during working hours (I think it's more on nights and weekends) and they are excellent about communication, they send you a text and email with the photo of the plumber who is set up to come to your house. During these strange COVID times, they were great about screening homes and emphasized the use of protective equipment (including masks and shoe covers) which was a nice addition. They also take pictures of the issue and their work. I've been so impressed with the communication, I'm sticking with them. I called A & A plumbing to "replace" the existing water softener with one that I purchased from Lowe's. The issue with the existing softener was that water was constantly draining from the tank. The plumber came out and gave me 4 quotes: Two (2) separate bids to replace using A & A's softener with a new one; Rebuild the existing unit and; to install the new softener that I purchased from Lowes. The cost to use A & A replacement was much more than what I wanted to spend, so the choice was between rebuild or replace with Lowe's unit. The plumber said that if it were his home, he would choose to rebuild since the system was better than one that I purchased from Lowe's. The total cost would be less if I opted to go with Lowe's replacement but I decided to go with the plumbers recommendation. The total cost for the job was $1,745.28. three days later, the softener was draining again, this time worse than before. I called A & A and they sent the same plumber out. He inspected the unit and discovered that "Clack spacer stack assembly" needed to replaced @ $440.91. I authorized the repairs since we really needed this fixed. My question was, "why wasn't this checked in the first place and added to the original estimate that would have cost a total of $2,186.19?" The plumber didn't have a good answer... Had I known the total cost up-front, I would have opted to have the Lowe's unit installed. BUYER BEWARE: The total cost to "rebuild" the existing system bothered me so I decided to look up the costs of the materials - it was $250 on the low end and $400 on the high end. The plumber spent total of 2 hours here and if you count the time it took to pick up the resin, 3 hours in total. So in essence, I was charged $1,800 for 2-3 hours of work. This seemed excessive, so I contacted the office and spoke to one of the managers - of course he defended the pricing. So my advice to you is do your homework; don't feel pressured by the plumber; take time and look on the internet the cost of parts and if you feel the charges are excessive, cut your losses and just pay for the service call and ask your friends, relatives and neighbors for a recommended plumber. I had a tankless hot water heater installed today. The day before I had the company come out give me an estimate. When I decided to go with a tankless (at the reps recommendation) I was quoted $8600. I almost choked. When I asked why and what the rates were the rep repeated the price and mention led that tankless systems are very expensive and all the work that needed to be done. I decided to pull the trigger. Once the item got here, I researched the price of the item...$2100-$2600 depending on where you buy it from. So, labor for a 7.5 hour job was $6,000? When I called the manager and asked for an itemized receipt, they said they don't provide one. When I asked for the hourly service rate...they said they don't do that either. They just do a flat rate for the job. Wow. Buyer beware. I cannot recommend this company and feel it is my responsibility to let potential clients of theirs know how they operate since they are not completely transparent. Very poor company. I would stay away at all costs. Just in case you're wondering. The average cost of this unit with installation is between $3500-$5500. Not $8600. They didn't even offer us a military discount which they advertise. My wife is active duty and I am a 20 year retired Vet. I made that known a few times...yet, no discount. Update: I left a review on their Facebook page and I noticed it wasn't there when I logged in again. Weird. So I left another. Have had two great experiences with A & A Plumbing now. Back in May we had our kitchen sink replaced as well as put in a reverse osmosis drinking water system. Chris worked efficiently and completed the work same day. The completed job looked great and has been working well ever since. Unfortunately this month, our main water line broke due to ground shifting. Josh came by same day to diagnosis the problem and help set up what he recommended giving us different estimates depending on the job we wanted to do. We went the long term route and not only got the main line fixed but replaced our water heater and had it installed in the garage rather than the attic where it originally was. Josh and his team came back the next day and had all the work completed. Customer service is also top notch and the receptionist was always helpful & polite whenever I called with any questions. However, the technicians are very well trained to make customers believe blooming a couple hundred-dollar repair into thousands of dollars large repair is a better option. The technician tried to steer customer away from a simple repair, by convincing customer an over-haul will solve all current and future issues. No doubt, this large repair will cost almost $10K. Small repair is certainly not as profitable as a big repair; it is apparent this company prioritizes their interest over customer's. read more

I had a broken sink and tub shower handle in my guest bathroom. They charged $19.99 for an estimate. They provided three different option/ estimates after looking at everything in the house but the water heater. They were disappointed that the water heater was barried in the garage behind storage, and said it probably wasn't to code. The first estimate was for $4,286.01, the second was for $1,410.06, and the third was for $694.63. We decided to go to home depot and follow Stanley's Plumbing Homeowner's Guide, and fix it ourselves. The really sad part was that we told them we were on a very fixed budget because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. They talked about other repairs that could wait, yet did not tell us what needed to be replaced for our shower/bathroom. We spent $11.23 on the part at home depot. I had the opportunity to follow up with the owner, who was very receptive to making adjustments and appreciated the feedback. He takes pride in his performance and works hard to meet his customers needs. It's a difficult time with many adjustments during the Covid Pandemic, and I feel confident that he will evaluate customers feedback to improve his performance and customer service. read more
