Sushi & Sashimi Combo for 1*

Delicious! We had assorted rolls , some apps edemamie and shumai and drinks service was quick and staff very nice . We had our own room and had a great time

Take out and delivered sushi. Quite impressive.

The sushi rocks. Much improved. Fast delivery and very fresh. Ash about seasonal specials that they occassionally bring in.

THUMBS UP

Food was AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!! I had a party of 9, and despite what frank said, the service was extremely attentive, kind, and fast. Jeff was wrong as well, as the food was delicious and I did not want to go to Kashi. I will be coming many more times and recommend it to everyone I know.

Worst sushi in NY, so far. So disappointed in the positive reviews few and far between. Hasn't anyone been to Manhattan or LA? I've had better sushi in Colorado! Despicable service and pathetic sushi. Manager didn't even offer to help appease us at the tune of $175 BTW, we need an authentic Japanese restaurant in the Huntington area.

Sushi boat load of assorted rolls! Dragon rolls, spicy salmon, shrimp tempura roll, Philly and NY rolls!

Fresh quick delicious food every time. We eat in the restaurant, service is always friendly and have never been disappointed

The food here is generally decent, but tonight I found plastic in my shrimp fried rice. I've been going here for years, but I've now realized that other Japanese places offer far better quality in their food than this. I should also add that there are some days where the food is more or less inedible here. Saturday's seem to be their good days, but on Mondays, the food here might as well go in the trash.

I thought I had written a previous review about how I thought Show Win went completely down hill. Turns out I never got around to it. Well, heres the breakdown: It USED to be the best. Quaint, traditional, and good value. Undoubtedly on my top ten list. They then renovated and tried to make a bit more.. "techno modern" (read: blue lights). They also significantly reduced the fish to rice ratio, and they increased the prices by about 15%. Not the end of the world, but it slipped down in the ranks when compared to other local places (ex: Nisen). Regardless, it was still the best local place, so my wife and I still managed to get take out every once in a while. The good news is that I picked up take out last night, and then again tonight, and I have to say they seem to have to corrected the largest issue I had: the fish to rice ratio. Makes the minor price increase not as painful, and also takes it off the list of places that I go to only because I don't have options. Throughout the up and downs, the largest redeeming value point for this place (especially if your a sushi nerd) is the extremely large variety of specialty rolls. Each goes by a fun name, and are all delicious. The hardest part (after a few large sakis) is remembering which ones you liked the best so you can re-order next time. If your in the area and looking for a solid sushi meal, check it out. One disclaimer though: it's a sushi place (expensive) in a nice neighborhood, so be prepared to spend a little.

We went there this past Saturday and I was very surprised to see the place got a lot smaller! Where our favorite table used to be is now where the Sushi Chef station is! It appears that they cut down the size of the restaurant and gave the other half away. I suppose it was a smart thing to do, especially considering everything that happened at the beginning of the decade. The food was still very delicious. The sushi was very fresh. The tempura was excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. The waitress was very accommodating and quick, and overall, it was an excellent experience. We plan on returning more frequently as we are back in the area, 25 years has been too long!!

Amber was patient, pleasant, and helpful in providing much-needed details about the menu. I ordered the Open Combo Skewer and he ordered the Combo Hibachi with Chicken & Shrimp, as well as two sides of Hibachi Fried Rice. The food was delicious and hot. The meat and vegetables were well- seasoned not salty. Portion size was very satisfying, definitely enough to enjoy at a later time. We usually don't leave room for dessert but today we made an exception and went all in. The Oolong Tea Cheesecake was delicate, with light flavors and a smooth texture. The Momo Musu and the Mango Mousse Bear were exceptional. We immediately enjoyed the Peach and Mango flavors, the overall presentation, and the fresh fruit and whipped cream that accompanied it. (These two are a must when you visit) I've been eyeing Mihana for a while now, and am so happy we decided to give it a try. It was well worth it. Clean and Serene environment, that would be comfortable for a lunch date or a group gathering. This was really one of the best Japanese food experiences that I've had in some time. I highly recommend this establishment, and we can't wait to return!

Disappointing Experience…read more I usually give local places the benefit of the doubt, but this sushi bar was disappointing. Walking in, the place barely even looks like a restaurant--more like an afterthought. It was almost empty except for me at the sushi bar and two people at another table, yet somehow, they still managed to mess up my order. I ordered an appetizer that never arrived. How does that even happen when there are only two tables? The waitress was completely inattentive and disinterested in her job. She was on her phone both times I called her over. Now, onto the sushi-- I get a weird vibe from fish wrapped in saran wrap, which is usually a red flag. Sushi should be fresh, against my better judgment, I ate it anyway, and I'm honestly surprised I didn't get sick. My rolls were bland. Overall, this place is unorganized and unappetizing. Plenty of other local spots to check out.

There is a free parking lot across the street, as well as on-street parking. Maroni's is known for their meatballs; you can get them to go, and you can get them in one of their signature pots. Three different sizes are available. The dining room feels like a record-collector's den crossed with a neighborhood bistro: warm lighting, lively chatter, and a playlist that speaks to Generation X. Here is what we enjoyed: We were given a choice of white or red wine and told we could drink as much as we wanted and change types whenever we chose to. The wine is included in the price of the tasting, not additional. 1. "Million dollar potato chip" caviar (sturgeon), potato chip, sour cream 2. Lobster bisque soup 3. Spicy tuna roll and rainbow roll with wasabi and soy sauce 4. Oysters on the half shell 5. Sea bass oregannata, fire roasted green beans, and shrimp scampi 6. Spicy korean ribs 7. Pastrami egg roll 8. Kobe cheeseburger abs tater tots 9. Grilled cheese truffle sandwich 10.Four cheese, ravioli, and a truffle cauliflower sauce with roasted croutons 11. Baked clams 12. Chicken milanese 13. Chicken parm. Spaghetti pomodoro and meatballs. All of this was followed by dessert: chocolate mousse with marshmallow warmed on top, vanilla ice cream on a stick dipped in chocolate, Crème brûlée. Espresso was offered and ordered. Cash only, one price, includes all of this food, gratuity, and wine/beer/soda/espresso. What a deal!

Everyone from Jen who helped with the booking and our servers Rich and Bob went out of there way to make sure nobody's glasses went empty. They made sure we all had enough to eat and they took special care of our friends with various food allergies. The room itself is beautiful and you feel special just using it. We were permitted to come in early and decorate for a birthday. Some people may say it's expensive and maybe it is but you certainly get what you pay for and no price is too high for the experience we all received. THANK YOU MARONI's

So this was a real shock today as I finished up my weekly shopping as I now do for my one remaining living elderly parent, my mom. As I gave the young lady cashier her pre signed check ( as I have for the last 20 years, she stammered and called over her asst manager , a not very much older kid and he abruptly said "we cant accept this as you are not the person " This was not news to me as I have had this happen a handful of times before usually the manager or a senior front end person will gladly override.... Not this time he leaves and comes back saying the store manager said no, then Mr Tony Marazzo ( linked in I believe shown here ) https://www.linkedin.com/in/marazzo-tony-7589217a/ says to me " hey I don't know why you are screaming at him cause you cant use the check ok " I tried to explain I did not scream at anyone, that I always pay this way and I am here because my mom is 84 and has COPD so she obviosity cant be up and around. I am not trying to pull anything over on anybody... ( for God sakes I had adult diapers in my order ) He said " he did not care " and then he walked off. They are all pretty much the same. I have been a fan of Stop & Shop for a while now. This shop is big, I mean really big yet I always find a parking spot in their big shared lot. It's an easy in and out for of Fort Salonga Rd. This is a very busy store and the parking lot is large enough to support it. You enter from either end into a huge store. What I like about Stop & Shop is that it is laid out really well and where there needs to be space there is space, and the Isles are big enough to maneuver through with a big crowd here. There is plenty of space around the meet, dairy and a very spacious vegetable area. They also have a marvelous bakery here. It's really a one stop shopping spot. Great deli area and plenty of great prepared foods. This place pretty much has it all. There is a pharmacy and wonderful florist. I am not going to go aisle by aisle and let you know what they have. It should suffice that they have a huge selection of foods and there is always great sales going on with the food being displayed on the end caps throughout the store. THe isles are large enough for you to maneuver easily. I definitely recommend this market for your needs along with the other Stop & Shops. KUDOs to the team here.
