We ordered chicken and rib dinners with an extra pulled pork sandwich (we ordered way too much but needed to try it all!!). Dinner plates come with Cole slaw, a dinner roll, potatoes, and a whoopie pie. There is seating outside. We both agreed that the chicken may have been the best we have ever had. It was seasoned so well and perfectly cooked. The ribs came with bbq sauce on the side. There was a line, but service was quick and efficient. The grills are right in front and you can see the cooking happening! Inside the barn, I could see them rolling out fresh pretzels. They also had homemade root beer, which was very good! After we finished eating, I couldn't help but grab a vanilla ice cream cone to share with my dogs. They agree too, best soft serve ice cream we have ever had. Since getting home, we have already talked about how we need to plan a trip back to Lancaster to get more BBQ and explore the area a bit longer.

They sell "homemade" root beer that I tried and it was good and tasted like the original drove in A&W root beer except it lacked carbonation. The meats were alright, tender and out of the the meats that we ordered, pulled pork, brisket and ribs, only the pulled pork wasn't dry. Now the sauces, the small black plastic containers, when I went that particular day, the lids weren't closing tight to make a seal from spillage. I was only able to seal the containers from the last behind the counter that I would need to stack 2 of the cups and the lid would seal tight. Wtf? TL;DR ok bbq place but stick with mission bbq if you really have a hankering for decent taste bbq in the area.
