During this COVID-19 outbreak we decided to reach out to some new places we haven't been to before…read more I am so glad we did! The staff here is awesome!. The owner Joe is outstanding at customer service! At first, I will a little put off because I called and called numerous times to order.. and couldn't get through. I gave up after several attempts.. and a few days passed by. I decided to give it another try. There was a few hiccups, but all and all the food was delicious!!! We have since ordered here again and again there was a few hiccups but again very delicious food! We plan on trying again once everything is opened up again!! Thank you Joe & Amy for everything!!

First, let me just say that the restaurant was gravely under-staffed. There were 2 young ladies…read moreworking the dining room and retrieving orders from the kitchen. No telling how many were working the kitchen but our orders took longer than heat & serve meals should take. The two ladies were gracious and polite but only one of them was hustling. She was running circles around the other one (who didn't seem very bright) Anyway, this was our first time there and there were two other tables adjacent to ours who had first-time visitors. We were all whispering amongst ourselves just how bad the experience was. The ketchup bottles were all empty and the napkins at the bar were not stocked. You could tell the afternoon shift dropped the ball and the manager (owner??) didn't have a handle on the situation. Completely ill prepared for a Friday night dinner rush. We won't be going back until we see an "under new management" sign posted.

Amazing in a word! We stop by this area every couple years and saw this place as a landing spot for…read moredinner one evening. It was phenomenal! It's down across from the river in an older building. There's a good amount of parking and tons of character! We sat outside on a nice night - there were probably 8-10 picnic tables as well as a good amount of seating inside. The beer selection was solid and included a number of nonalcoholic options. The food here is gastropub style stuff and was really good! The Cobb salad was a memorable one with a ton of meat. The kids got Philly cheesesteaks - those were unexpectedly delicious and included homemade cheese whiz. Another kiddo got a chicken bacon ranch flatbread - excellent and reminded delicious out of the fridge the following day! The pizzas looked good too and were (as we found) all available as flatbreads. The service was excellent and despite the busy evening, they got to us quick and took good care of us. We don't often plan to return to out of town spots, but this is one we'll definitely be back to!

It made it hard to pull the sandwich apart. The service was ok i waited awhile to get my bill but other than that it was ok. I would maybe try it again if I was ever in the area but it wouldnt be my first stop.

With the name The Railhouse Bar I had to stop and get a beer or two. At noon on a Saturday it's…read morepretty empty with a few locals so no problem sitting anywhere. The place is a lot nicer looking on the inside than the out looks with a nice exposed circular metal ceiling and kind of an industrial look with the wood and metal. The men's room has a keg for a pisser which was somewhat weird but kind of cool. There is a rail yard right behind the place so the name is fitting. I was after a cold craft style draft beer which they had a few and I don't even remember the names. I was amazed that the woman working the bar didn't know how much the beers cost and had to consult a menu before taking my money. I was only going to do one beer and since I didn't how much they were I slapped $10 on the bar, $4.75 for my dark beer. She grabbed the $10 and asked if the whole $10 was with her tip, no I'm not leaving you a $5.25 tip on my first beer, seriously. I decided to try another beer and I asked her to bring me the most popular tap, nothing domestic like Bud which she didn't really know so I said just pick something. I liked the frosty glass with each beer. My second beer must have killed the keg because it was kind of low in the glass or just a crap pour which I think is most likely what happened WTF. It's probably an ok place for a couple beers but I would check out some other places in town.
