When I needed to get married in 5 weeks, my mother in-law immediately took me to Andrea's because of her friendship & customer experience with Carmen for many years. I was feeling panicked & overwhelmed & didn't know where to begin - but Carmen, Andrea & Samantha rolled out the red carpet for me & patiently walked me through every step of the way. I ended up selecting a style of gown that I never imagined I would chose - and it was absolutely perfect, not to mention stunning - I'm still receiving compliments! Samantha and Andrea went above & beyond for me with their customer service - accommodating my schedule, answering general questions, providing me with outstanding vendor recommendations & various other contacts. They even showed me how to dance the Hora without ruining my dress - we literally practiced in the middle of the store!! On my big day, Samantha came to the actual wedding to help me get ready, show my maid of honor how to do the French bustle on my cathedral train for the reception as well as help with styling our pre-ceremony photography. She even took her own pictures throughout the whole process - one of which was featured on my gown designer's social media. I felt incredibly special on my big day and I've honestly haven't stopped looking at the pictures ever since!! Thank you Andrea's for making my dreams come true on the happiest day of my life! Xo

    my pieces fit perfectly!

I have so much to say about working with Carmen!! First off, to every bride. TRUST YOUR INSTINCT. I am not an easy person when it comes to style or fashion. I have a very clear idea of what I want. I could care less what is on trend. When I first came into the shop (1 month after being engaged), it was by complete coincidence. I called 15 minutes after seeing that it was so nearby to an appointment that I was already at. Thank God for this little taste of fate. Upon meeting both Samantha and her mother Carmen I didn't know what to think. I was open to the idea of dress style, but I knew I wanted separates. I would later find out how rare being shown anything "separate" truly was. After taking a quick browse around and being led quickly to look at Julie Vino, I decided I would try the top on, but I asked if there was something they could show me that was different, something eccentric maybe for the bottom? Carmen immediately pulled a dramatic, really cool high to low organza skirt off the rack and suggested I mix and match. I described in detail how I pictured my hair, the shoes and what I wanted the overall "look" to be- a female superhero. Julie Vino was decidedly too "revealing" for my taste but the idea of the wonderwoman-like top combined with a super structured skirt stayed with me. I remember leaving the shop and Carmen warning me if I was interested I had to give her at least 3 months for the order. Many many, many many many months passed. I was stubborn. I only went to one other shop to try on dresses and scoured the internet instead. (not including Sax bridal in LA who told me they had nothing for me because my tastes were - direct quote - "too avant-guard") I struck up a relationship with a designer in the Ukraine who worked with me for over a year to create a look that I loved. Unfortunately, when it arrived the pieces did fit properly or even go together. My mother was beside herself. Threatening and actually purchasing a back-up dress of her choice as a last resort, I let her do as she pleased while I stuck to my guns. It was scary. I had zero backup and we were less than a month and a half from the Thailand destination wedding date! I thought about Carmen and how she just "got me." I remembered that while I was in the shop the first time after describing what I was after she said if I went for it, I would be one of her favorite most daring brides she ever dressed. I called and sent an email requesting an immediate appointment and to my surprise after sending a quick photo via text Carmen agreed to see me. I loved the top I had, however the workmanship and fit left a lot to be desired... I was scared about how I was supposed to find a bottom that in any-way matched the top. Luckily for me (though I'm sure Carmen is still swearing under her breath about it) the Ukrainian designer had made a veil which I had hoped to use more as a photo prop with the elephant we were going to take pictures with at the wedding. This veil had the same elegant lace edging that was used on my top (IT WAS GLUED DOWN AND SEWN TO CARMEN'S HORROR) and Carmen suggested creating a custom short skirt with an overlay of the lace on the edges to tie the pieces together. Then the overskirt piece that I loved when I first came in would be the finishing wow factor. I had no other options. No plan B. It was a difficult thing to walk in ALONE and make the decision to sign an agreement that held everyone harmless, with no take-backs! But a little voice inside my gut told me to trust and have faith that this woman knows what she's talking about. Honestly, I had not read previous reviews. I had not visited their shop website, I did very little investigation. Instead, I happened to be at the right place at the right time and find the 100% RIGHT WOMAN TO COME TO MY RESCUE. No words can describe my gratitude. Not only did she manage to create a short skirt (that did not ride up - and I danced my ass off) from scratch and know the exact shades of white to use for just the right contrast, but the overskirt was cut and primped (horse-hair removed just for me because I didn't love the way it stood up) No detail was left untouched. The top was entirely "groomed" - new darts added, lace additions to coverup unsightly lines in the mesh and silver under-layer, the zipper was redone entirely in nude so as not to show. It was a complete overhaul and I don't know what I would have done without this visionary couture expert on my side!!! From one artist to another Carmen - THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART thank you for helping me take my dreams and make them a reality, for believing in what I wanted, and not compromising when my parents (via facetime) were not on board. I have never seen them both in happier shock at the outcome!! You are my angel and my bridal savior. I would recommend this establishment with great pride to anyone looking for help making their bridal or high-fashion vision come to fruition!

Being from Fresno, I have tried on over 50 dresses in bridal shops from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The dress and veil we chose, was nothing short of stunning. Samantha is not only sweet and loving, but she also has an eye for fashion and a passion for weddings. She took the ideas of what I want and transformed them into reality in a way that pictures don't give justice. There must have been a strong love spell on the cape veil I had, because everyone that saw me wear it, fell in love with it! They have a great selection of dresses that I am convinced, you can not find elsewhere. I strongly recommend her to any bride!!!

I am the owner of a bridal beauty services company, and I can't recommend Samantha and Carmen enough. Their dresses are stunning and top quality. Not only that but our brides feel so well taken care of and pleased with the overall experience that we will continue to send as many clients to them as possible. 5 stars all the way!

Samantha and Carmen are true listeners and translators of dreams!! They went above the call of duty in so many ways ... read on .. (Prior to finding Samantha, I had not one, but two horrible experiences at Panache bridal in Pasadena and in Beverly Hills. I ended up crying for weeks not knowing where to turn. I was feeling the pressures of my wedding and I was tired of bridal stores pushing dresses down my throat that I did NOT want. Panache in Pasadena actually would not allow me to be in the showroom - I had to wait in my dressing room while they picked dresses for me! What?!? This experience got my spirits down immediately.. ) Then I stumbled upon Samantha and Carmen by watching the morning news where they were featured as 'the best bridal store for a complete experience' - I thought "there's no way they'll take me as a client! My wedding was in 4 weeks - I'm a mess and I'm sure they are booked anyway." I called the store anyway and Samantha kindly said to me, "I will make time for you today if you can come in." I cried. She heard my worry and defeat and embraced it! When I arrived, Samantha and Carmen gave me their undivided attention and time to ask detailed questions about my wedding, my target vibe of the wedding, the location and most importantly MY vision for my dress. These details quickly gave them an avenue of direction. I tried on many dresses and I still had not seen my vision. Samantha then said, "I can create your vision for you." She grabbed a pencil and sketch pad and drew on paper, my dream dress. I was in awe. Samantha was going to make me a custom dress in just 4 weeks ... Samantha brought fabrics in, took measurements, spent even more time making sure her notes were flawless (due to my time constraint, no mistakes could be made). Samantha made a few phone calls to her designers in New York explaining the design and the fabrics (which were rare fabrics apparently) and then we waited for a few minutes - the confirmation came back that the dress could be made with the chosen fabrics just in time for my wedding date! It was a rush order, like a double rush order actually. My mind was racing "did I just find an angel?!" Samantha went above and beyond for little me - why? It was apparent to me in that moment - she LOVES her brides and she LOVES making dreams come true for mothers and brides. Samantha and Carmen get it...they just get the meaning of beautiful and bring dreams to life tenfold. Samantha and Carmen were both at my first and only fitting - they hand stitched a mesh at the chest and neckline for me that was not a part of the original design and she added adorable buttons down the back as a gift to me. Samantha brought in a veil at my fitting (I hadn't even thought about a veil yet due to the stress) and it matched my dress perfectly. I couldn't believe it Samantha attended my wedding and made sure everything we perfect before I walked down the isle. Samantha and Carmen are light workers who understand the full picture as well as the dreams of their brides and mothers. They bring the vision to reality. My mother in law also rushed in and purchased a mother of the groom custom gown ... Carmen was polite with her body type and was gentle while addressing my mother in law's concerns and doubts. She made her feel like a queen on our big day and that meant to world to her son and I! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May your kindness and gentle demeanor continue to ripple into the world. May your designs and appreciation for LOVE continue to transcend the women, brides and mothers who walk into your store with a dream - and walk out with their dream a reality! With Gratitude, Brettany

I was guided to an upstairs hallway with loose organization, was told I could only pick several dresses, and then I only had 30min in a dressing room (I still had a attentive shared staff member to help me get into things). This all worked out totally fine for me, and is a pretty normal sample sale experience in LA, but you should know this going into it! I am an experienced sample sale girlie, but it was also my very first wedding dress place, so the item and time limit made me sweat, especially not yet knowing exactly what I wanted. I tried on three dresses, loved two, and bought my wedding dress here - yes, the first place I went - and ADORED it. 10/10 would do it again. The staff member helping me was awesome - she split her time well, and was a hype woman without being pushy or fake. They wrapped up the dress just as nicely as it I'd bought it full price, and even asked if I wanted to take a "said yes to the dress" photo. The dress was just under $800 after tax, and the other one I loved was just under $900. It needed a little work - the straps were dirty and loosely seen in some places, an aglet was missing, and the lace needed a steam badly. Overall, however, extremely worth it! I am so happy I came here & found my dream dress.

Everything felt very prepared for my appointment, I didn't feel rushed or limited. What surprised me the most & really impressed me and my fiancé was the way they were both attentive, kind, professionals and knew their styles. They picked a dress out for me on top of the dresses I had in mind and at the end of the appointment I left picking their recommendation because that's how amazing of an eye and taste for bridal fashion they have. How talented is it to know a brides taste and look without the bride even knowing herself. I was truly blown away by their selection. The gowns I tried on were all Maggie Sottero and all gorgeous. Their pick for me ended up being mine and my fiancés favorite, nothing else topped it. Checkout was easy, prices are affordable for the high quality , free alterations with a dress purchase and options for some customizations. Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff laughed, and one of them asked, "What are you doing here?" I replied, "I have an appointment," and they all laughed again. Looking back, I should have walked out then, but I decided to give them a chance. I was told I had to wait because no one was available to help me, even though there were four staff members standing at the front. I was told to look through the racks for dresses while I waited. Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

While Angel was lovely, her sales associates need training. I wish I could have corresponded with Angel directly, as her associates seemed to not know what was going on/did not communicate. On 8/31/24, I said yes to the dress after having exhausted 6-7 bridal shops in Phoenix. I finally felt a sense of relief. I paid in FULL that day. I signed the paperwork for my dress to be ready in March 2025, two months before my wedding. The next steps were for Yesenia to send a sketch of my dress based on the designs I wanted, within a few weeks. I waited several weeks and when I didn't get anything, I reached out to Enoch (who is no longer with them). He assured me he would get on Yesenia to send the sketch. I didn't get A sketch until 11/20/24, nearly 3 months after I had already paid for my dress, and it wasn't even a sketch of my dress! I didn't get a sketch of MY dress until 11/25/24 and it looked like something she drew in 5 minutes. Very anticlimactic. After A LOT of back and forth on the finer details, I asked if the dress was ready to START production on 12/5/24. I received no response. I sent another email on 12/9/24, no response. I finally booked a flight to LA and SHOWED UP IN PERSON on 12/14 and Yesenia looked surprised to see me. She stated that she had responded production had already started on my dress, and she had sent an email but it must not have gone through. OKAY. I started emailing her again in February asking about the status of my dress: 2/3, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1. 3/1 Yesenia stated she would send me photos of my dress and book my first fitting. She never did send me photos of my dress. I had my first fitting on 3/16/25. I was expecting for all my fittings and the dress to be finalized by this point, but I was just happy there was a dress at all. The leg slit I had asked to be on the right side, was on the left side instead. Because of the way the dress was designed, it could not easily be fixed. They did not apologize for the error at any point. They did offer to REMAKE the dress, however, with my wedding less than 2 months away (5/8/25) and the TERRIBLE communication, I did not want to take that stress or risk. I had also asked for pearl buttons on the overskirt but received satin buttons. Yesenia replied that production had responded on 2/24 (to her) that pearls cost extra; at no point had she communicated this to me. She stated she would have them swapped out for the pearl buttons. On 3/27/25, I sent all the photos of the details I wanted for my veil to Yesenia. Admittedly, there were a lot of details- I wanted a cathedral veil, scallop trim with beaded edge, and for our names and the date to be embroidered. Knowing my wedding date, and that I had to leave the COUNTRY at the beginning of May, Yesenia could have prefaced that all these details would take a month+ to make- but she never stated any sort of time frame. In April, I asked if the original alterations were completed on my dress. Lots of unanswered texts. I had my 2nd fitting on 4/26, the WEEKEND before I was leaving the COUNTRY for my wedding. Luckily the dress came together, even though the leg slit was wrong. The veil was not ready for me to take home that day. Yesenia stated she could have it shipped for $8 or next day shipping for $33. I stated that I would not be paying for shipping over text, and I reiterated this again during the 2nd fitting. She agreed to wave the cost. The veil shipped on 4/28 and I received it on 4/30, a mere 3 days before leaving the country. Luckily the veil was beautiful, albeit the embroidery was smaller than I expected- but everything was spelled correctly (a point I reiterated multiple times via text). At the end of the day, everything turned out OKAY but it certainly was unnecessarily stressful and unenjoyable. I didn't have the dress of my dreams (because of the leg slit on the wrong side- and I didn't utilize the leg slit on the left side) which is crushing when you're promised it and PAYING for it. I don't recommend Lucky Brides for your peace of mind.

I had a great experience here at Cocomelody. My appointment was at 10am, which is the earliest. We…read morehad to wait until the building was unlocked and the showroom is on the 8th floor. There is metered parking right in front of the building as well. There was only one other appointment happening during mine and we were spread out so it didn't distract from my appointment. My stylist was Alexa and she was amazing! Unfortunately, some of the dresses I wanted to try on wasn't available at the store, but Alexa pulled some similar styles. She was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The appointment lasted one hour. Remember to ask your stylist to measure you! I was going to get measured, but decided to retry on a dress and totally forgot. The dresses are very good quality at an affordable price! I am so glad there is a showroom and feel much better about ordering my dress online now!

I have nothing nice to say about this company. The worst part is their return policy. I have to pay to ship it back to Asia, then there is a 20% restocking fee, and another $5 fee for something else. I will never order anything from them again, and I do not recommend them to anyone!
