We had a great experience! We came in to get a part for my Honda Civic after my door was damaged in a car accident. Debbie was incredibly helpful and so sweet. She showed us the exact part we needed--it was in excellent condition with no damage, and it even included a fully working speaker, which was a huge plus since ours had blown out in the accident. This place is great. I called Kennedy and he had all the parts I was looking for for a 97 firebird. IN THE SAME COLOR!!! I also asked on a whim if they had an ac hose for my suv not expecting much and he appeared with the exact part about 5 minutes later. I drove 2 hours to get here and it was well worth it. They have EVERYTHING!!! Everyone here was super nice and very friendly. They all talked with me while getting the parts to my car for me. I couldn't be happier with the service. The last few times I ordered parts, I ended up waiting over an hour because they didn't realize I was buying for a shop. This time, I received a quote for an amplifier through car-part.com. $100. I was waiting to hear back from another salvage yard out of state for $50. I never heard back, so I called A Car Auto today to go ahead and take it for $100. Now the price is $200, and since I didn't save the screenshot of the quote, they won't honor it. They'll take $50 off "for my trouble". Gee, thanks. The trouble is their staff is terribly uncoordinated. $50 ain't gonna fix that. read more

2/28/2016 I'm sorry to have to write a bad review . I was told this place is the shiznit for old vehicle parts and it is . I called and was told they have a ' pile of old Dodge truck gas tanks you can look at ' when I arrived ' debbie ' was out front and in a bad mood , rather surly , not even normal professional courtesy . She said unless I had my old tank for a sample they wouldn't every TRY to help me . I mentioned I'd called and been told I didn;t need to bring my old tank , she gave me the Okey-Doke , after I'd driven from Los Angeles . FWIW , I used to run a Junk yard and I was always courteous and friendly , I made a good living and SOLD PARTS ~ having parts stacked up to the sky means NOTHING if you don't want to sell them . So many Junk Yards have this bad attitude then whine to me ' I can't sell any thing ' before bailing the inventory up for .45 CENTS the pound scrap value . GET A CLUE . I have no illusions about used auto parts . I'm old and I only work on older vehicles so I have a steady need of used parts , I also regularly buy junked vehicles to rebuild . Shop around and you will find way better deals others place...these people aren't very bright at all! Bought a starter and didn't work, returned but they didn't want to give a refund because they test it on site and it "worked" then when I told them that I wanted to return it because it didn't work they sent me to another shop in another city to test it so they can give me a return. The shop that tested the starter said it was bad. I drove all the way back to get me money and they gave me an attitude to give me my money back. I don't recommend this place because all they care about is the sale instead of helping out its customers. Avoid this place if you want a warranty on any electronic part. Terrible customer service won't ever do business with them again. read more

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any parts because they didn't have my car in stock but the woman at the desk was nice enough to find two junk yards that had what I needed.
