Dr. Ellertson is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It's just as nice talking with him as it is having him providing service. He tells you everything he is about to do which is a very nice approach. No surprises and he is very gentle at the work he provides. From the front desk to the doctors flawless experience for me. Dr. Sizgorich and her team were absolutely amazing at keeping him comfortable throughout the whole treatment! They explained to him in detail how they will fix this cavity in a way that a 5 year old could understand. During this visit, it was noted my son would need a tooth extraction. We saw Dr. Simrun for this procedure. This dentist is like heaven on earth for kids. She made him feel seen, cared about and his fears were completely gone after meeting her. She continued to check on him during the procedure to make sure he was comfortable and happy. He did not once feel any pain. She also texted me multiple times throughout the day to ensure he was doing ok. I usually NEVER hear from a dentist after a procedure. This made us feel even happier to have started at Pearly Smiles. Our toddler loved the play area right away. He spotted it even before going in and was excited to…read morego to his first dental visit. Yay! Once inside, they had some Montessori toys for the kiddos to play with, but not an overwhelming amount which was nice. We really liked that they didn't sit him in a dentist chair for the first visit and how hands on they were with teaching us the correct way to brush a toddlers teeth. They shared a chart with us of foods that cause and don't cause cavities, which we thought was cute. At the end of the visit, he received a token to redeem a prize at one of the capsule machines. He was so excited to receive his little token and even learned how to put it in on the spot. Turning to get the prize our required mamas help We also took a first visit picture with him that we got to take home with us. It was a very nice and memorable experience and we can't wait to go back! I'd definitely recommend Pearly Smiles to first time parents and all parents. It was a calming environment well prepared for kids, and parents alike, to feel welcomed all while making it a fun experience.

Special shout out to Carolina (she's always super friendly and nice!). Wait times are not long (maybe 5 min), and typically only 1, maybe 2 others in the waiting room. The longest i ever waited was maybe 20 mins, but that is not usual. They definitely schedule things with the patient in mind :) This practice also accepts Medi-cal dental insurance which is nice, and for the times i had to pay for something that wasnt covered, their prices were reasonable (pretty much market rate, sometimes a bit lower compared to other places i asked!). Do take caution if you get hygienist Dr. Danan--everything was smooth sailing for me until I got paired with her. She'd be very rough during the cleanings, and always ask if i flossed (which i do, everyday) because my gums bled quite a lot. I never had this issue in previous cleanings (when i was paired with others). I'm not sure if Dr. Danan is new, but I was able to request going back to having my cleanings with someone else, and that worked out great. My gums didnt feel assaulted and there were no issues :) Highly recommend Flossy Dental and even after moving farther away, I still stick with them!!

It has been nothing but a nightmare. Going back to get an adjustment I found later was billed as an emergency visit when I was told there would be no charge. Then I had to go back again because food is getting caught in it and was told not only do I need their mistake taken out but need tooth 3 filled and will be charged more money . I was so upset I just walked out. I called again cause the crown on tooth 4 is now all jagged with Ruff edges and they can't even tell me if I will get charged if I go in. They gave me no choice but to file appeals and a grievance with my insurance company. Their billing is a mess to boot.
