This place is amazing. The all you can eat sushi is beyond words. Plus you can use coupons. The hibachi side was not as worthy as the sushi. All you can eat for $25. I've come here several times for dinner and even lunch, and haven't really had a bad experience. UNTIL we came here for my son's 15th birthday. He wanted to go to a Hibachi, and we opted for AFusion instead of Hamadas in Tinley. We went on a Wednesday, and had made reservations for a party of 13. We were all present on time, and were seated immediately (that was good). We were told that there was only one cook on shift during the week (I get it, it's slow), but that he was going to serve the other table of drop in diners, instead of our group (who had reservations). EXCUSE ME?? I was prompted to request a manager, but my son's mother said the appetizers should make it okay. But it wasn't, after being seated at 7:15, we didn't get our first entree (soup) until 7:45, and the cook didn't arrive until 8:15. Unacceptable! I don't know what would have been worse: just sitting there waiting an hour, or having to watch another table eat while we wait an hour. One of the people in my party opted for the orange peel chicken (crisp, plentiful, and delicious), while the others went for the all you can eat sushi buffet. The list is not that extensive or complex, but it is not bad for 18.99 at dinner and 14.99 at lunch. The sushi was fresh and the rolls were made quickly before our very eyes. Will not be coming back here. Wanted to find somewhere local and less expensive for sushi. After reading reviews I thought this might be a good place. I ordered a couple rolls and some sashimi. Presentation wasn't bad but the food was nothing to write home about. When I got home, the stomach pains and nausea kicked in. I thought it might have just been an ill effect of having sushi after being out drinking the previous night with some friends and passed it off as nothing. Next day rolled around and I felt fine in the morning so went about my daily routine. Cracked open the leftovers for lunch and surprise surprise... the same stomach pains and nausea set in all over again. The food itself tasted okay, not anywhere near what I expected for the price though. I've had some pretty epic sushi all over the country since I travel so much for work but this honestly ranked pretty low compared to the other places I've tried on whim. The rainbow roll was by far the worst I've had. Now the only thing saving this place from a one star review is the fruit smoothie. The mango green tea smoothie was delicious. But that is the ONLY thing keeping this place from being a complete bust in my opinion. Decor on the inside was modern and the staff seemed friendly and courteous. The curb appeal of the building was sub par at best. Most of the time I don't judge a resturant based on how their building looks, but this one made me rethink that theory. I'll spend a little more and make a bit of a drive from now on and go to Ron Of Japan. Do yourself a favor and go to Ron of Japan. You'll spend more but you won't have to deal with food poisoning and unimpressive food. read more

My cousin and I shared an appetizer at the bar but would only give one CUP of water because only one of us was paying for the order. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. I went there for lunch with my brother and we didn't care for it. Neither of us really liked our food, my shrimp was very chewy and I barely touched it. I ate my rice which was fine but very bland. My brother said his food was okay but didn't have much flavor. Usually a restaurant will master one form of cuisine over the other two but this restaurant has an excellent balance of tastes from each genre of Asian food. My husband and I, and another couple, had the "All you can eat sushi" for dinner tonight. The sushi itself wasn't that bad, the rolls were pretty standard. The service was slow and it really wasn't that busy. For instance, after we finished our first order of rolls, our waiter came back and took our orders for our next rolls and it took over a half hour for them to come out. Well, everyone else's rolls came out 20 minutes before mine did. I understand preparing sushi is an art, but our waiter was bringing out orders for other tables that ordered sushi well after we did. He was apologetic, but not until I asked where my rolls were. It was kind of a weird experience. I gave it 4 stars overall because the food itself was good, the price for me husband and I was just a tad over $60 (that includes tip) and the service was just ok. My family and I attended AFusion saturday 1/4/2020 there were several code violations and health concerns I notice. I was given dirty silverware, I observe the chef handing off food to the customer, The fork that the customer was using to eat with touch his spatula. The cook did not clean or change out the spatula out. Last I went in the washroom and it was ladies in there telling me that the worker was in the stall cleaning the toilet with toilet water.
