While staying at my partners house and having a Netflix marathon with his sister. We were both craving Chinese! Her eyes legit lite up with I said "want to get Chinese take out?"! She told me all about china in and how her and her family have been ordering from here for decades!! So of course I gave it a try!! Aside from the orange chicken and chicken lo mein we also got their egg rolls, crab Rangoon and shrimp fried rice!! Everything was amazing!! Store is small with very limited seating, think more waiting for your order seating, not so much dine in seating! Staff is direct and to the point. They are busy and don't have time for small talk! I remember I used to eat their food almost twice a month, this food has went down. It didn't taste freshly cooked. It was ordered yesterday, around 8PM that could have something to do with it? Food is normally very well prepared. There is plenty of it and it's served piping hot. Also, every dish I've had from the shrimp fried rice to the chicken fried rice is delicious. I love their beef and broccoli. The beef is tender and the broccoli is never over cooked. read more

The food is always seasoned well! There's also plenty of food for the money. I get the broccoli and beef. The broccoli is cooked just like I like it. Not too crispy -- not soggy! Tried this place after reading the reviews. We normally order our Chinese from Chens, in Tinley park but decided to try a closer restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We have ordered from China Inn about four times and each time we have enjoyed our meals. We've tried the shrimp and lobster sauce , very good & plenty of shrimp. The sauce is very tasty. The best I've had in the south suburbs. The egg rolls are really good too. I usually have to drive to the city for good egg rolls. I still prefer my Mongolian beef from Chens but all in all, a good restaurant. Chens is also more accommodating in making combination plates. read more

My husband is so picky with Chinese food, I surprised him and he liked the fried rice and he is very hard to please. I had the shrimp Lomein the portion was huge and it taste amazing. An employee waited on me at the counter, took my money and gave me change, then walked to the kitchen area picked up some egg rolls, without washing or putting gloves on his hands and put them in the deep fryer. Food definitely ranks a 4 star. Probably one of best chinese fast foods in our area. Probably would rate better but customer service lacking. Orange Chicken and egg rolls are my favorite. Fast service food tastes fresh not precooked. However, service and atmosphere lacks. Staff not friendly or easy to converse with. You don't get a ticket with an order number. You order over the phone and they won't even take your name sometime, just say 15 minutes. Need to get in this century and have a modern card reader so you can swipe your credit card yourself.
