Got some Chinese food from this sketchy looking place in Alsip. It happens to be one of those average looking strip mall Chinese restaurants. Wing's isn't anything authentic to be sure but most don't expect it to be though. Has good value for a few items. There's a pretty okay amount of spiciness. Came at lunch. It's a pretty cramped place. They weren't busy, even with only one table in here, which should have been a sign. One reason is they have delivery. They also have plenty of customers who get takeout. It's about $12 for an entree. The Mapo Tofu can be made vegetarian by leaving out the pork. Get specials here at lunch. It has delivery and takeout. This is my go-to restaurant for traditional Chinese food. They have the very best egg rolls around. I love the vegetable fried rice and always add extra broccoli. I get the small size and I can usually have two meals out of it. Yesterday I ordered the Mongolian shrimp. It was delicious and also was able to get two meals out of a small size. It could have been a bit spicier, but that's just my personal preference. I have never been dissatisfied with anything that I've gotten here. read more

I order from here regularly, this is my go-to place for Chinese and I have always been satisfied. Today I ordered Sweet & Sour chicken dinner that comes with SFR and an egg roll. Chicken is normally piping hot, tender and not greasy. The SFR is not usually greasy either. Today there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the SFR container. The chicken was greasy, and over cooked too. Very disappointed today. I hope this was a one-off mistake. One a positive note, when I've done delivery they are always on time if not early. I had always been satisfied with their food in the past, but lately it has not been to good. Maybe they have new people cooking the food but its very greasy. Yesterday I brought a large shrimp fried rice first of all the box was greasy when I got home (I live 5 minutes away) and the shrimp tasted very fishy. Not very good at all. Whatever dish you order will be filled with onions. They use onions to cover the fact that they skimp on meats and seafood. If you love to eat mostly onions with some rice, this is the place for you. read more

So I used to LOVE their sweet & sour shrimp (which is just their fried shrimp plus sauce) but now it's just so much breading you can't find the shrimp anymore, rather yucky. Shame because everything else is so good. Their BBQ pork is delicious. Shrimp fried rice with the lunch/dinner specials is great & full of teeny shrimp, and their egg rolls are fresh and crisp. I had the sesame chicken lunch special, and substituted the shrimp fried rice for beef fried rice, it also came with an eggroll ($8.50). I personally did not like the food, the sesame chicken was absolutely terrible. Some of the chicken tasted old, then a couple of the pieces were pretty good, then others tasted almost burnt. They charge you one dollar extra if you don't want shrimp fried rice, so I got beef fried rice and it was just ok. They are quick and have a parking lot, but I don't think I would return. read more

I tried this restaurant in Alsip last night I ordered the orange chicken dinner which came with shrimp fried rice I am highly disappointed. A few hours after eating I immediately had an upset stomach and proceeded to throw up multiple times.In the morning my 1 year old had diarrhea thank god he just had a very small portion of the rice so he didn't experience fully what I did. Ordered online. One of my options for paying was pay when you get here... no mention of having to have cash. So when they got here and saw that we didn't have cash they did not give us our order until we called the restaurant to pay with a credit card. Once we paid with a credit card, we found our order to be MISSING items. When you order a sweet-and-sour combo you expect sweet-and-sour sauce on the side. No sauce! Wing's USED to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is great and is always hot, the portions are also great and the prices can't be beat, but recently a new person started answering the phones and she is incredibly rude and unprofessional! I don't mean rude as in I had an issue and she argued with me or didn't adequately resolve my issue. I mean she answers the phone rudely, she takes your order rudely, she's rude when you walk in to pick up your order. She's just downright unpleasant! There used to be an older woman taking orders before the pandemic and a few months ago a young man was taking orders and they were fine but this new woman is the worst. I've endured her unpleasantness for months but today was the last straw! I called and the woman yelled into the phone for me to hold on without a greeting or anything then I waited for 3 minutes as she helped a bunch of walk in customers (I could hear the music from their door going off) Then she got back on the phone and said "delivery or pickup", no apology for the long wait, but then another phone rang and she just said "hold" and put me back on hold. I waited another 3 minutes and just gave up. I won't be back until they get a new cashier. My family has had Wing's for dinner every Friday for the last 3 years so I'm really disappointed but with so many competitors out there, the owners really should be more selective about who works directly with their customers. read more

This place makes the BEST Chinese food EVER!!! We've been getting our Chinese cousins from Wings for years now! From the appetizers; favs are pot stickers with their ginger sauce for dipping and their Chinese Wings are so tasty, crispy and HUGE, to the entrees of which ALL I've tried are phenomenal! Our favorite fried rice is the vegetable fried rice. The portions are so huge that after I take a half plate of fried ricee, it looks as if the carton wasn't even touched! We get a to go order every other Friday. I love the beef fried rice and my guy always has the beef chop suey. Everything is always overflowing from the container lol... great big portions...cooked to perfection, tasty and reasonably priced. It's only a 12 minute wait for us when we order on such a busy evening which is fast and convenient. They never get our order wrong and we are always satisfied doing business with them. Inside they have a dine in area, kinda small but most everything is take out.
