Sooooo sadly I never got to taste anything here, so this isn't an official review based on their tasty sounding wine fights. Yet, as my friend and I found this place around 4p, there was this cute Chevy truck stage setup and an gentleman playing off of it. All the tables were outside and full, yet the 3 servers running around made eye contact with us and never told us what was going on, how we could order or how we signed up to get a table. No communication what so ever. I looked on the ground for markers, with all these Covid times, most businesses have duct tape or arrows directing people where to go and this establishment just seemed to run smoothly without any new people and it's mist.... Now- if it wasn't for another elderly European gentleman and his lady companion, in front of us, I would have said this place seemed a little racist, since my friend and I were the only two not of European descent and no one was helping us or directing us where to go. The elderly gentleman in front of me got annoyed and asked "Have you been here before?" I told him, "No, this is my first time. I'm not too sure what we're supposed to do to get a table and the servers seem too busy to help..... or notice us." He chuckled and said, "It's our first time too and it's about to be our LAST! What the hell? Who runs a business like this? I'd like a glass of wine for my wife and a table, but it looks like we can't even get a MENU!" Finally maybe after 8 mins of confusion a lady came from inside the restaurant portion of the winery and apologized. Apparently it was a wine pick up day as well as reserved tables in the front. So all the tables in the back were full. She also told us they were only 11 tables in total and as soon as the music started, everybody fills up the tables. The gentleman was rather annoyed yet was able to look at a menu his wife shook her head no as she waited about 20 feet away. The entryway in which we were standing was too squished for us to socially distance apart. We had masks on and were vaccinated so I didn't mind. But the older gentleman and his wife seemed to be highly irritated. They looked at the menu and then left. We were given a menu and left as well. The wines did look tasty, but that place was way too packed! In case you visit; and walk up to the front door/entry way and ask for a menu. Or take a table if there's an empty one! No one seems to give directions here and there's no markers or cue cards to tell you what you're supposed to do to place an order or get service. read more

What a delightful gem in Pacifica! We visited on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed every minute of our stay. They had a folk duo who was awesome and added to the country chic ambiance. We found our seats outside and were quickly waited upon. The servers were friendly and efficient! We enjoyed mulled wassail, truffle chips, and the harvest brie tray. All delicious. It was a tad pricey, but definitely worth it for the wonderful winter afternoon we spent in Pacifica. read more

We stopped prior to the kitchen opening and looked at the menu for Happy Hour, but saw things on the menu we wanted to try, so came back when the kitchen was open. My husband did the house Red wine and I got something imported from France... a mix between a cider and a wine, my second drink was their house sparkling from Spain and it was yummy! We did order something bot on the happy hour menu, but a signature item on their small plates. Unfortunately there were issues with the oven and we were unable to wait due to prior commitments, but the staff was super attentive and apologize more than they needed to. We will be in town for a few nights, so we may be able to come back and try again. Things were beyond their control, so that is not to be held against them. I love the location of the spot, right next to the shore. The place was lovely, nice wine and beer bar setting. The décor was also good, we ended up setting ourselves up at the outside seating after a hike. But as much as I like the spot and the setting, it's not very memorable, very meh. I can't say the food, service or the drinks were anything to write home about. When we walked in, it was more of a head knot and seat yourself wherever you like. Usually when that happens, the establishment is just very chill. But the vibe A Grape in the Fog gave was more of a I really don't care one. It does continue on with the service, while it is certainly not bad, they came, took orders, brought over drinks, brought over food. That was it, no one came by to check on us, asked if we needed more drinks or food, which we did. I went back into the restaurant 3-4 times ordering more or asking for items. The food was pretty good. What they serve was tapas and small plates. We had the meatball skillet, the Charcuterie Board, and a couple of empanadas. All was good. read more

This sweet, local wine bar is officially my favorite place in Pacifica, CA! The wait staff is lovely, great humor and they have helped me pick out EXACTLY what I didn't even know I wanted! The wine list is constantly updated, the wine cocktails are fabulous... and the yummy food is the bomb! My fave will always be their Mori Points and the hummus plate with salad and veggies. I came here for my first wine tasting experience since it a decent deal from groupon and it was close to home ($17 for a tasting plus one desert for 2 on Friday/Saturday). It is definitely more of a intimate wine bar -- it is quite small inside but it is lined with beautiful landscape photography available for purchase and a fun chalk board strip so guests could get a little artistic while they wait for their wine. There was live music the entire time and it was pleasant to hear as I drank my wine. I am giving it a 4 just because the prices and services could improve. Although the groupon was a good deal you still have to pay tax/tip and then tip the musician. I ended up walking out of there spending like $35 total for my sister and I plus $5 for the musician. It's not the worst pricing but for a small place in Pacifica and not in Napa, one would think it would be a little more affordable. It was a good groupon buy, but I think a one time visit to this place s good enough for me. read more

Came here with boyfriend. We both loved our experience here. The cheese and charcuterie plate was a lot of food for what we paid, and delicious! Great selection of wines and knowledgeable staff to help this indecisive couple choose two classes. It was a really slow day and we felt no rush in any way - the perfect atmosphere to kick back with a drink. My favorite thing about this place was the (rotating?) art on the walls. When we were there, they featured photos of 4 heterosexual couples in traditional couple-y poses, except that the couples had all traded partners with each other and posed with strangers. We had fun looking at all the photos, trying to guess which ones were the real couples. Not sure if we were bad at guessing because the couples were good at posing, or because we'd had wine. Who's to say? Kind of wish this place were closer to home, but also kind of glad it's not because I'd spend more than socially appropriate amount of time here. Visited with friends on a Saturday afternoon for drinks and snacks. The place is cute and cozy. We ordered: - house red - good with generous pourings ;) - red wine flight - good. Three reds. We ordered a bottle of the German Pinot Noir later which was actually a replacement of one of the wines from the flight menu. - salted almonds - cheese plate - loved the special jam addition to the platter! I've been coming here off and on since 2011. Much more so recently. The food is great, as is the wine. The staff here are just the lovliest people on the planet, and are always so good to me and my little greyhound. They recently renovated, so if you haven't been in a while, you should swing by. Great live music evenings, and beautiful interior. In the summer months, I absolutely love hiking nearby in the hills by the beach, enjoying the sunset with my dog before or after going in for a snack. P.S. bring back the panna cotta! ;) read more

I came, I saw, I had a good glass of wine. What more could a girl ask for? Yes, it's new. Yes, the wine list is...limited. Yes, those nuts look like they come out of a planters container. The olives are...olivey, as they should be. If they want to be a Pinot focused wine bar, I recommend more Pinot on the menu (Just sayin), though I did enjoy the glass wine I had...
