I had one of their burgers and fries. The patty was a homemade blend and delicious! The fries were good also! I wish I left room for dessert because they were offering a fresh applepie or cheesecake. Something to look forward to on my next visit! The server was so charming and attentive. She never let our sodas run dry and shared in the perfect amount of conversation with us. I encourage you to stop by and enjoy some great food and warm hospitality!

Not what I was expecting when I Yelped this so we almost decided to go somewhere else since it wasn't what I was expecting Ambiance- old school diner. The door to enter has a sign that says "restrooms are for customers only". We got here at noon and there was a handful of peeps eating at tables and the counter and outside In the back facing 101. Service- 3 stars. Kinda slow. Took awhile for the waitress to get our order. She did get our drinks first but took several minutes to get around to get our order. She wasn't serving anyone but had her back turned to us while she was doing paperwork. Menu- lots of choices with breakfast such as omelette, burgers for lunch. I got the Jose Burger with fries- burger with bacon, grilled onions, Ortega chili and American cheese. It was a pretty meaty burger. Had pickles, lettuce and tomato and lathered with mayo. Had to request mustard and ketchup. Burger was impressively good. Fries were thin and fried. Kinda remind me of shoestring fries. Burger - 5 stars, fries 3 stars Niece had California burger and wife had country griddle with sunny side eggs. Overall, not the greatest location. Nothing around it because the gas station. 3 stars Also, there's 2 prices on the check. Cash and a higher price for using a credit card

Stumbled into Allegretto on a whim: was visiting Paso Robles and booked a wine tour. Within 30…read moreminutes of arriving, knew I had to stay. The vision behind this place is truly inspiring and heartwarming. Built from the ground up around sustainability, human energy, and the balance between light and dark: allegretto, as a name, captures it perfectly. There are structures and masterpieces from six continents woven throughout the grounds, and as you walk through, you feel transported: one moment you're in Europe, the next in India, the next rooted right here in the American West. Astrology, art, intention, and the practice of living in the present moment are threaded through every corner. The wine selection has something for every palate. The tasting room mostly outdoors and so relaxing + beautiful, and the club membership is def worth it! What truly sold me were my wine tour hosts, Rosemary and Ryan. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about this place. The spa was great too! Jackie and Denise were warm and I got an amazing facial. Started the morning with yoga in the chapel, which was serene and restorative in the best possible way. The restaurant, Cello, is also excellent. Renee and Devyn were kind & welcoming. Lisa and Ava at the front desk were gracious and warm every time I crossed their path. Also found the most thoughtful, reasonably priced gifts for my family at the wine tasting room: a rare bonus. Heard they're building a second pool that will include both a family pool and an adults-only pool too. A few small notes I'm sharing in the spirit of the brand itself: not as complaints, but as easy wins for mgmt. For a resort so deeply rooted in sustainability, plastic cups at the water stations felt out of place. Switching to paper would be a simple change with a meaningful impact. Similarly, the mats in the chapel were the Amazon brand, which didn't feel aligned with the intentionality of everything else here. And one logistical thing worth noting: a portion of the grounds was blocked off for a wedding the morning after I checked in (pic included) Had planned to wander early and would have really appreciated a heads up at booking so I could plan accordingly. None of this changes my overall experience or my enthusiasm for this place. Allegretto is one of those rare destinations that if the above aligns with what you enjoy, you will be transported. Highest possible recommendation.

I believe what is missing here is that The Allegretto needs to be more conscious of " hotel management " techniques. For example , the rooms are dated and somber. On both of our trips the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were " saggy ".The rooms need to be updated in color schemes and vibe. There are only 2 elevators for this massive sprawling resort... too much walking! We had to go to the front desk three times because there were no valet people out in front. Because of these experiences I am not sure we will be back .

Some have Romeo and Juliet balconies the rest have sitting balconies all overlooking the vineyard. The property is located in the rolling hills not far from the main road but tucked away enough to feel away from it all. The price point for the rooms is below the value received. There is not a restaurant on site, but they do provide a daily delicious breakfast in an indoor lovely setting that was included. They offer an extensive Sunday brunch for $39.00. Parking is sufficient for the number of suites and an EV charger is located in 2 stalls. The staff is accommodating. Allegretto vineyard and winery is just down the way with a lovely upscale restaurant if you don't want to go downtown which is 11 minutes away with a plethora of choices for dining and shopping. Can't wait to return to this gem. I did have a problem with booking through a third party service, so I would suggest booking directly to ensure your room is available.

My boyfriend and I came to Calipaso Winery for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway,…read moreand it has honestly been such a disappointing experience. When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.

The town was hosting live music at the plaza across the street so we sat outside facing the plaza. It was a great way to enjoy our meal! The place was pretty packed because of the World Cup going on (Mexico vs Korea) so I understand why our server was a bit slow. She was handling tables inside and outside but keep in mind when it gets busy you may wait a bit longer for things. I ordered "The Steak" which is a hangar steak with a compound butter on top and Brussels sprouts on the side, I subbed potatoes for coleslaw. The steak was cooked nicely and had a great crust on the outside, very flavorful with just the right amount of saltiness. The Brussels were some of the best I've had even though they were so simple. I ate every last one! The slaw was ok but not a ton of flavor, it was pretty light on the sauce. We also got an order of bacon wrapped jalapeños with cilantro ranch. They were so good! We destroyed them in seconds while burning our tongues on the lava-like cheese. Worth it!
