My daughter and I outside Shingle Creek Resort after a fabulous meal at A Land Remembered!

From the moment my daughter and I sat down, our server Janette treated us like royalty! We ordered French onion soup, wedge salad and Chilean bass, which she graciously split for us! Richard, the manager, not only walked over to introduce himself and ask from where we were visiting, but, upon departure, gifted us with a complimentary dessert--New York style cheesecake! Talk about hospitality! We loved our experience! Thank you, Janette and Richard!

Great service, ambiance and food all around. And you know it's going to be good when the butter is shaped like an alligator. The restaurant has a very "magical dining" vibe. We arrived right when it opened and it was not busy (surprising considering it's the holidays). Wait staff were very attentive, pleasant and were very informative on the menu. Food overall was phenomenal and I'm a HUGE fan of their Charred Octopus appetizer (very tender and their sauce is A+). Other highlights were the sea bass, prime rib, and rib eye. All so tender and don't need any sauce or seasoning. The scallops and lamb were a bit too well done but I don't think it took away anything overall. Sides were nothing spectacular (actually were some of salty) but I guess you have to pair the entrees with something. Definitely come for the holidays because they also decorate! Can't wait to be back!

I really enjoyed my time at A Land Remembered at Rosen Shingle Creek. The staff is stupendous! I sat at the bar and Stefany (the bartender on duty) was on top of things, and made me a Blondie Espresso Martini that was to die for. I had their Prime Rib and a Loaded Baked Potato and both things were exquisite and flavorful. The steak was made to perfection, my compliments to the Chef. I really enjoyed seating at the bar as I was by myself and got to speak to the bartender and other people around me. The restaurant is classy and the ambiance there was rich and familial, which made me feel comfortable and at home. Besides the restaurant being pricey (worth all the money), I have no reason to not come back here again. I can't wait to come back. Love A Land Remembered!

Timeless peaceful ambiance where you can have a relaxed conversation while enjoying a savory fulfilling dinner. Friendy uet professional service. A Land Remembered has maintained the quality of food and service from more than a decade since it first left a good impression with me. The tender octopus was my favorite part of the meal. Surprisingly I preferred the prime rib over the lamb as the sauce for the lamb was way too salty and I wish it came with the plain simple mint jelly. The chocolate cake was divine so make sure you order it. I called to clarify the dress code and was told business casual only to see dressed casual would have been more than enough. Still a very nice experience, my dear Orlando locals add this to your nicer dinner date list.

This has been a place I go to for yearsss and will continue to go back year after year!! We adored our waiter that gave us sooo many good recommendations. His recs topped even my expectations! If you go, please try the octopus. It was cooked just right where it wasnt too chewy yet sooo tender and well flavored. We also loved the tomahawk steak. SOOO good and not too fatty. Definitely go for the chimichanga sauce. SOOOO WORTH IT. Shoutout to Erkan for giving us such a lovely experience. Cant wait to bring all of our people here where we know we will be taken care of and listened to. They definitely strive for nothing but excellence and chefs kiss to all the quality meals that was recommended to us

This place was absolutely incredible! My husband and I went there to celebrate a late birthday for me and an early holiday season treat and it did not disappoint. Everything that we had to eat was absolutely incredible. We had the crab cake and the buratta to start, both were delicious. My husband absolutely loved his steak and my fish was also incredible. The service is incredible, you have 2 different waiters taking care of you, so you're never left waiting for anything. It was fairly quiet when we were in there which was perfect for our little date night! Hoping to be able to come back to this place soon!

We were actually staying on property for this experience. Everything was really on point. You get the 5 star table service and glassware to match. The ambiance has a high end feel to it where everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome. Food was delicious. We both had steak with Prime Rib and NY Strip and sides. During the summer hey have a 3 course menu for $60 that varies which includes starter, entree, and dessert. I will say that the hotel over was just ok and needs some updating. I heard that other rooms have been updated but ours wasn't, but we signed up for the Rosen "black card" and it gets you 25% off most of the food, so that helps when you're dropping a few hundred on dinner. Enjoy!

It was busy this third time coming here. It looks like a few business outings or a work conference was going on. The food was delicious as always. The customer service was great! We opted for the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Lambchops, and Prime Rib. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was very good, but I liked the lambchops and prime rib even more. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I also tried their seasonal white sangria, which was a tropical sangria, and was so refreshing and delicious. I can't wait to come back!

Nice ambiance, no strict dress code as there was a range of outfits. Staff was quite attentive to us, however, our table wasn't fully ready when we got seated (table and seats were still dirty when they sat us) which was not the best start to the meal. But they recovered with the quality of the food- started with a white moscato and rose gin & tonic which were both quite good. Then we devoured the lobster bisque appetizer and it was SO goood like probably one of the best I've had in a while! The lobster itself tasted so fresh and savory. We got the NY strip and a half rack of lamb with a side of mashed potatoes and lobster mac & cheese. After the lobster bisque, I had to try the lobster mac & cheese and it did not disappoint! Personally between the NY strip and the lamb, I preferred the steak as it had was a slight advantage. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would come back!

This gem of a steak and seafood place is located in the Rosen Shingle Hotel. 10 out of 10 for service and food. Everything that we had was fresh, delicious and a large portion. The octopus appetizer had a great flavor with a little spice. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and buttery smooth. The crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is they didn't have many selections of Pinot Noir by the glass.

I have been coming here for years and this time it was extra special. From the moment we walked in the hostess treated us with so much warmness and it just got better and better from there with our server Jeannette. She was so sweet. She took the time to speak with us and explain their new menu. She even told us a few stories. She was wonderful. Definitely will be back to see her again. She is there every day besides Sundays and Mondays. Highly recommend you requesting her. I love the lighting in this restaurant and the vibe. Very old school romantic. Now to the food. WOW! From the bread service Croissants with the salty butter. To the chilled Oysters from FL. To the Grass Fed Lamb Chops that literally melted in your mouth! I loved the appetizer Lamb chops so much I had to try the Half Rack of Lamb entree. Completely different taste but still so flavosome. I am not a big steak person but The MBP Wagyu Ribeye was mouthwatering and super tender. The Lobster Macaroni & Cheese with Butter Poached Maine Lobster and Four-Cheese Fondue was delectable! Definitely a 5 star meal!

Wifey and I hear about this restaurant from neighbors. It's on the Orlando magical dining list. I was told the prime rib was thick and it was. We both ordered prime rib. With the magical dining menu we each chose a wedge salad as a starter. For desert it was one chocolate cake and one key lime pie. We had them boxed to go. We ordered one creamed spinach to share. The magical dining is an annual event in Orlando. The last day is September 30, 2025. The steaks were looking good and tasted good. I could have done without the slap of cheese on my spinach, otherwise I enjoyed it. A nice bread basket with butter came first. Parking is available but a little confusing because the restaurant is near the golf club. If you're handicapped during magical dining they will park your car for free. Then it's a short walk to the restaurant. We got a ride to the restaurant from security in a golf cart. It rides six. It's a bit of a walk otherwise and still is a short walk after getting dropped off.

Filet Mignon to the left, beef Wellington to the right, mashed potatoes, baked squash (a must try!)
    Vilay S.

Everything about our dining experience was exceptional! We started with the lamb chops -- perfectly tender and full of flavor. The bread was warm and soft, served with the cutest little gator-shaped butter. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of delicious wine before our entrées arrived. I had the Beef Wellington, and my wife ordered the filet. They did tell me that they cook their beef Wellington's are medium rare but I would say mine was rare. My wife's steak was cooked to her liking at medium. Our sides of mashed potatoes and baked squash with a buttery crumble and drizzle of hot honey were outstanding. We didn't have room for dessert, but the manager surprised us with a complimentary glass of crisp, cold champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our server was attentive, and the entire staff, including the manager, made sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back the next time we're in Orlando. You can't beat great food and even better service!

Is there a menu with prices on it?

    Yes

Is there a picture of all their wine choices? I'm looking for a white wine that I've tried last week. It was a sweet white wine.

Nancy, I went back and checked all the Yelp photos of their menus and photos under Drinks category and there are none of their wine list. I also failed to find their wine list on their actual website so I believe you would have to see the wine list…

Does The Land Remembered have a cork fee and if so what is the fee structure (first, second bottle)? We are having a large group event there next month.

    The cork fee is $25/bottle.

    Average price for 2 people?

Could get up to 60-80 or more. 4 of us went and bill was over $200.

It was just good top to bottom. The menu was diverse enough for all tastes. There was a good variety of steaks, italian, etc. I ended going with the Alfredo, which was absolutely delicious, but I knew I should have went for a dish with more red sauce. The Alfredo sauce was incredible, albeit a little watery. The picture may not show it well, but there was a scoop of it right on top of the chicken, and it was really good. Next time that's what I'm having. The bread and butter were mind blowing though. Something about a garlic butter on a warm piece of bread is so incredibly hard to beat. The restaurant was full of guests dressed to impress and speaking in hushed tones. All the steaks and chops around the room looked amazing with great aroma. The lighting is dim, but the large windows let in a lot of light to read menus. I recommend a table for two by the big windows overlooking the pool (and 9pm fireworks) or a comfy booth along the wall with the same view. We appreciated the perfect timing and temperature of our dishes. Our amuse bûche was a yummy ceviche packed with seafood. I would definitely order it if on the menu. The crudo appetizer was a standout dish - so fresh and flavorful, and beautifully presented. My smooth, delicious, piping hot sherry-infused lobster bisque was poured over a sizable slice of lobster, at the table. My dining partner was impressed with the delicious taste and temp of their Iberico Chop. I adored my perfectly seared and moist sea bass with fluffy gnocchi in a decadent, rich and creamy mushroom sauce (I substituted sea bass for escargot). The large, indulgent lobster mac side dish was an excellent compliment to both mains. It was flavorful with plenty of lobster; and the delicious crust on top would make amazing cheese crisps. Servers walked around with a variety of fresh, warm, yummy breads -- though 14 Prime breads in Jax taste better. The arrival of the crème brûlée flambée was reminiscent of a bananas foster presentation in NOLA. Unfortunately, the flames were the most interesting aspect of the crème brûlée. Flavor was not particularly special, and chocolate at the bottom tasted like pudding. Dessert was just 'ok' at Bull & Bear & Oscar's. Another small nitpick was the lack of black napkins for black outfits. Service was professional, yet approachable. Servers gave great recommendations without unnecessary upselling. They worked in teams, so there was always someone available to assist. Open 6-10pm daily, our reservation secured the table all night -- no rushing to turn tables over for the next guest. Some dishes include table side preparation, so prices reflect showmanship (e.g., lobster bisque poured at the table; table side César salad preparation; meat board & Dover sole table side deboning and plating; crème brûlée served in flames; strawberry ice cream created table side). Could be due to cookery too since mushrooms need to be cooked with a bit of water during a sauté due to their water retention properties. Idk, it's still a good restaurant if you can afford it but I would never go back. At this price point, i just expected so much more.

Regarding the food, the seafood is particularly outstanding, with dishes like lobster and sea bass performing consistently well. The steaks are also above average, but not the absolute highlight.

Our server was awesome and truly made the meal more enjoyable. I'm hard of hearing, and when they noticed I was struggling, they kindly relocated us to a quieter spot in the corner where I could actually hear my wife. That kind of attentiveness means the world. Throughout the evening, our server was helpful and engaging, and started us off with some bread for the table. It seemed fresh baked with a crisp crust and wonderfully soft in the middle. For our entrées, we had the Chilean Sea Bass, which absolutely melted in our mouths, and the 10oz center-cut filet, which was perfectly cooked to order with no fat or tendons -- just pure quality. You can tell they take pride in what comes out of that kitchen. They finished our meal by bringing out a special plate for my mom with a trio of strawberry sorbet, a chocolate cookie, and banana foster. It was beautifully presented, and that banana foster was fantastic! We will definitely consider ordering a full-sized one on our next visit. Overall, Eddie V's delivered an outstanding experience -- from the atmosphere to the service to every single bite. We'll absolutely be back.

It's clear the staff takes their work very seriously - hearing about the specials almost felt like a sales pitch - and the atmosphere is meant to be upscale and well executed. I recognize that as a vegetarian, I am nowhere near the target market for this menu. That being said, I found my entree and the bar's available ingredients lackluster, but the sides and dessert were delicious. The bread, glossed with butter and very fluffy, was divine. The waiter took my drink order, I asked for some options for a cocktail that were off menu that he'd have to check on, then the rest of my table got their drinks 15 minutes later, and I was told what I ordered wasn't possible. Not sure why drinks took so long or why I wasn't notified sooner, as this made our pacing a little odd. I ordered a blood orange heavy cocktail off the surprisingly short menu, and it was just ok - not a mix of flavors I'd normally go for, and very punchy. The greenery sprig was a visually appealing touch though, although it was a bit heavy handed on my neighbor's drink. My salad was yummy, with an interesting addition of potato chip like curls. The red wine that was ordered for the table was one of the best red wines I've ever had, very enjoyable, and I never normally like reds. The wine selection seems vast here - the menu is a true binder - and some options go over $2k for a bottle, so even the most extravagant tastes will find something they like here. My waiter gave me the tiniest bit of attitude upon finding out I was a vegetarian. Listen, sir, I didn't pick the restaurant, I know I don't belong here - yeesh. He did inform me that a cauliflower steak option was available, which I took him up on, but it was not listed on the menu anywhere. They should really add it to be more inclusive of all types of diets - it's 2026, you need to offer an entree that isn't meat, even if you're a steak and seafood restaurant. I'm never really that impressed with a cauliflower steak from anywhere, but this was one of the most bland I've ever had. It wasn't filling and the sauce had barely any salt or flavor to it - very lackluster. The desserts were amazing - I forget what we ordered other than the Creme Brulee topped with macarons and Butter Cake (OMG! WOW!), but everything I tried was yummy. It was a pretty busy spring Thursday night when I visited, but everything seemed to take quite a while to come out. A friend was dining separately at another table, and when we bumped into each other in the bathroom while waiting for apps, we both remarked on how long it was taking for food and drinks to come out. The atmosphere was also a bit chaotic - we had to wait in a cramped, awkward entry hallway for 10 minutes past our reservation time, which was a weird way to start the dining experience- they need a better waiting area. It was also very loud in here, which is not what I'd expect for such an upscale place - I could barely hear people across the table from me. It cheapened the overall feel. The price points are certainly impressive if you're wanting to come here to impress a date or business partner. Some bits were excellent, but the entree fell short for me. If you're getting what they specialize in, you'll probably have a better experience, but you'll also be waiting quite a while. I feel like the only person I know that isn't raving about this place, and although it puts on quite the show, there's some room for improvement. I WILL be dreaming about that bread and the salad's potato curls, though....
