I got a regular sns on my real nails. First, I should've walked out when I noticed a poor color variety, then having to coach the technician on filing almond shaped nails (and then he still not getting it right), lastly doing a very messy job (not removing the residue from my actual fingers or even offering cuticule oil). Women come to nail salons for services that make them prettier than how they left out, why would Anyone want to go pay for a service only to go home and clean it up. All of that to say, there is a lack of integrity for craft and care for someone choosing to give YOUR workplace a coin especially during global economic stress. I normally don't get my nails done here just my toes. So I decided to get a full set of nails and it was the worst. She ripped my nails off and then she cut me deep 3 times in my cuticles and they starting bleeding. It was stinging so bad. I was so upset then she said it cost $60. And I told her two of my nails are cricket tooth and she didn't even fix it. I will continue supporting my people who will take their time and do my nails right. They were struggling to do my French tip I had 2 people try and it was so tiring I asked for a solid color. After going to 5000 and 1 of the oh so many nail salons in Atlanta looking for a fairly priced manicure that Would last more than 2 weeks(everything i tried barely passed the 2 week mark no matter how much money I paid for it) I finally discovered this place!!! I walked into a very busy salon today and was immediately and warmly greeted by Kelly. I had a screenshot of a set nails worn by my favorite instagram influencer and asked if she could replicate it. She immediately identified it as Ombré SNS and said she could. And boy did she deliver! My nails came out better than the photo. She fixed the shape of my nails and took her time to file under the bottom of each nail so they are perfect from all angles. I got my nails done a week ago, today. My nails are cracking and breaking and the polish was coming off by Sunday. I came here three times before when Catherine was there and my experience was so good. This time Catherine was not there and the techs were very distracted, on their phones talking about fashion week and shoving their phones in my tech's faces for most of my service (at least until Catherine arrived). Sonny's gel manicure was not good, he was clearly not pleased when i asked him not to file my nails and instead, when he scraped the old gel off and my nails were made paper thin (which is why they are breaking now). Pedicure polish is already chipping as well and I actually think she forgot top coat on one of my feet. I thought this would be my new nail shop, but after this experience I will not be back. read more

I came here twice bc I was in need to get my nails done. This place is really small and it has a strong smell of nail polish. I'm Viet and I hate going to a nail salon that keep asking me if I was Vietnamese and asking me if I know this person or not, or who's my parent is! . LOOK just bc im Viet doesn't mean I know all the freaking Asian in Atl or you know my family. I here to get my nails done! This place didn't do that good of a job bc I had to came back twice for them to fix my gel nails and it was coming off the next day! My gel and my boyfriend mom nails was mess up and I hate coming back in a nail salon and they tell me that bc of the polish or my nails polish looked fine! NO is not! I used to worked in a nail salon! So yea you can't trick me or act like I don't know sh*t. I don't like people to know I used to do nails. Clean and newly re-decorated. Polite staff. although apparently only one English speaker. The polish was old or mis-applied or both. After drying my nails interminably, the tech sprayed my nails dry and swept her finger across the polish smearing it. She reluctantly removed it and re-applied and I was back to the drying area. Time had lost all meaning. She put oil and baggies on to protect the nails from my socks-something I've had successfully done many, many times. By the time I got home the polish was smeared again. I am a resident of Buckhead for the last 11 years and have tried every nail place in the area to date before venturing out. I stumbled into Nail Fame one day after leaving Publix in the same shopping plaza. CeCe is my go to nail tech but to be honest I trust the whole staff with the services offered. I recently moved ITP and asked a friend about a good nail place that wasn't going to cost me upwards of $40. She recommended this place but her one complaint was that they take too long. She was in a rush the last time she had stopped by and her complaint was not that she had to wait to be taken care of, but that they took too long getting her mani/pedi done. I, for one, do not mind the extra attention. Especially since I'm typically standing in heels for 8+ hours a day at work. I've been twice now and each time they have done a really thorough and excellent job. A basic spa pedi starts at $18.. You can add extras (like sea salt--$6, etc) if you like. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and they are very thorough with that as well. I would recommend going first thing in the morning or early in the evening as going in the middle part of the day is sure to put you on the waiting list. This place gets pretty busy. read more

Stopped in here on a whim yesterday for a mani- pedi. I did the option with the scrub, so the combo was $33, not bad! ($27 for basic & a few more for mask). You can add a 15min hot stone foot massage for $10 or a regular 15min shoulder massage for $10. The girl did a great job on my feet & hands, I opted to add the shoulder massage. I used to LOVE this place but their professionalism has gotten really bad. They post hours all over that are completely different than the hours they actually keep. They are closed Mondays now yet still post hours that they are open on Mondays. All online listings show they are open until 8pm Mon -Fri yet they actually close at 6pm now on those days. I've shown up 3 times only to find they have kept cutting their hours back. I'm guessing they're having financial problems as there would be few other reasons to cut hours so much and not even update their own signs or web postings. If you ever needs your nails done after work (after 6pm) you'll never get the chance at Nail Fame. Great neighborhood spot. I try to go regularly and this was my third time to this salon. The first two were just okay, but my polish has always been perfect. The experiences varied on who did it and what I asked for. I recommend gong for the add-ons they suggest. The price is right. I always have a good chat with Kelly, she is very sweet. I haven't gotten a pedicure since I moved to Atlanta last year, so I was looking to try a new salon -- I really just picked Nail Fame because it's in the shopping center with the Publix and dry cleaner I go to, so it was convenient to stop in tonight after picking up my clothes. I'm glad I did! I walked in tonight after work, and they had several customers going but were still able to get me in right away. It's not some fancy-schmancy, high-concept joint that I would feel underdressed for in my jeans and T-shirt or that I wouldn't be able to afford to go back to - it's just a clean, bright, and comfortable nail salon, with a few spa-like touches. They've got massage chairs for the pedicure stations, your standard spa-ish music in the CD player, and a large-screen TV (with the captioning on) mounted on the wall facing the customers. Apparently they offer some other salon and spa services, like waxing and hot stone massages, though I didn't look into those. The girl who did my pedicure was sweet and friendly, but she also didn't feel the need to talk the whole time, which I appreciated. She did a great job with my calluses, the sea salt scrub was quite nice, and my toes look good - just the right amount of evenly applied polish, no bubbles. I couldn't tell you whether they supply flip-flops, since I had come in wearing my own. When I was all done, she led me over to a little table by the window to sit and relax until I was ready to leave. The basic pedicure cost me $24 plus tip. I will say that when I first walked in, the chemical smell was kind of strong, but I think the lady at the very first manicure station was getting acrylics or something at the time. The smell didn't really bug me, and they had a large fan going the whole time. So, overall, I was quite pleased. It's not a fancy splurge-and-indulge kind of place, but it felt just right for getting a bit of just-a-normal-day pampering from a neighborhood salon. read more

They refused to honor the price I was quoted 3 mins earlier. Nails were sloppy and not smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The people working here were peaceful and extremely courteous. The energy within the shop itself was also calm and soothing. There was no loud talking and I felt like I could relax. I got the basic pedi and got the 10 buck upgrade for the foot massage which was really longer than 15 minutes and well worth the $$. I have had a great experience with this salon. After venturing all the way to Buckhead for a overpriced and poorly executed pedicure, Nail Fame did a great job of fixing the other salons shorty work. Staff is very polite and helpful. They are more than happy to touch up your nails if something happens. And the price is great! $10 for mani, $20 for pedi or $28 for both. Oh and it doesn't smell to high hell like a lot of salons do. Will definitely be going back!! read more

Great price, great service. Ask for Amy. They are mostly crowded on weekends though so either get an appointment or head over on weekdays. Staff might need some help (not all speak English) but they are very nice and quick! I always get a mani pedi here. If in a rush ask for a quick mani where they just shape and polish. Husband usually gets one of those chair massages and says they are pretty good.
