I have used this company several times for moving and packing. However, this last time I used them to deliver kitchen cabinets and quartz it was awful! A nightmare that cost me thousands of dollars. They showed up intoxicated. 2 quartz pieces were broken and a cabinet as well. Mr. Wayne apologized and assured me he would compensate me for the damage. Now he will not answer my calls or return text messages. Even though their website states that they are 100% insured. That does not seem to be the case. Took my money and then refused to complete the move. Claimed it was unsanitary. Cockroaches found behind boxes. I'm disabled and not well and could not move the boxes on my own. I told them that I would spray and clean. They did take my boxspring to my new location that day only five minutes away. When I contacted him again to return, he made it very clear that he did not want to return. It is now only two days before I'm supposed to move! He took a 50% deposit and the materials, and left me in the lurch! Only two days before the end of the month when I am supposed to move. If I could give this guy less than one star I would. I hired Mr Wayne to pack up our container for an out of town move, based on a strong referral from a friend who had hired him for the same. I can assure you that Wayne is reliable and dependable, and he will treat your items as if they were his own. I will say things took longer than I anticipated, given he only brought himself and one other man to move out a 3-bedroom house. He wasn't actually able to finish everything in one day - short daylight hours; we couldn't see the inside of the container anymore to keep loading efficiently, and to be fair I'd given him a smaller container than could actually fit all my stuff. So he officially stopped his hours at that time and came back early the next morning on his own to finish up, for a few more hours that he didn't even suggest to charge me for. I have used A Packing Service twice to move. Most recently on 2/24/23. Mr. Wayne and his colleague Jesse came through for me. I had quite a few large items that needed to be moved from a 5x15' storage unit into my new apartment. I was concerned because it was raining heavily that day. I had to move my Mother to an Assisted Living in Hollywood from Sylmar. I contacted moving services and most were charging like a house move including Assistant Home moving services. I was referred to A Packing Service from my brother In Law. The Owner Mr Wayne and Gio, showed up on time in moving truck. They immediately were warm and professional. They came with extra wrapping plastic to wrap anything I did not wrap properly. They went to Hollywood location and were met with a elevator that was too small to fit my mothers couch that had to go up to the 5th floor. We will get this couch up by going up the stairs( which were narrow) and getting into her room". Well, he did exactly what he promised!
