Relocation network moving company is wonderful. They are extremely professional and well priced for the service that they provide. This is the 2nd time I have used them in 3 years. They have moved my office furniture 2 times and this last one was residential. The staff they hire are very respectful. They treated my furniture well and there were no incidents with breakage or walls beings scratched. It was a difficult move with my staircase angles, but they handled it well. I had really high hopes for Network Relocation after speaking with John Henry over the phone. He sold me on the services, promised me 'his best guys', and that it would be a smooth move. He was only really right about 1 thing: one of his guys (Steven) was the best part of the move. I spoke with John multiple times and mentioned that I live on the 3rd floor apartment, and asked if the recommended (by him) 2 movers would get the job done easily. This is when I should have asked for an emailed estimate, but all I was given was basically a contact sheet. He reassured me that it would be no issue, but the moment Mike and Steven arrived, I was met with snarky remarks about the stairs and how much stuff I owned. This would not change at the end destination. Mike, of 'Mike the Mover' renown, was a little too 'chummy' with me, making impolite statements and exhibiting some unprofessional behaviors. Steven, his partner, was diligent and showed neutral/positive outlook on the job. If there was any positive aspect of the move, it was Steven's demeanor. After almost 8 hours, including drive time and unloading, Mike and I went to shore up the total bill and this is what made me the most uncomfortable. Mike showed me the total estimated bill, totaled to $1480. He broke it down on a scratch piece of paper, which did not transfer to the carbon copy of my receipt and did not provide the actual itemized receipt - 7.5 hrs labor (they were only loading/unloading for 5.5 hours), 3 hrs double drive time (as per law), the $25 flat fuel fee (not arguing on), and over $250 dollars in shipping materials (which I didn't ask for them to use). Note: all of their packing material costs are exorbitantly overpriced compared to normal consumer prices. (A tube of shrink wrap is charged at $60 when it is normally ~$16). I trusted John and his team to use what was needed, but not to run up the bill without me knowing. After an overall exhausting day, Mike then made it very awkward by asking me what to put down as a tip on the invoice. I expect that from a café when the employee rotates an iPad, not from a professional mover. I've tried reaching out to John in regards to amending some of these issues but have not heard back yet. Unless these issues get remedied, I don't have any reason to recommend these movers to friends or family. read more

My brother hired Relocation Network for his move Sunday, April 25th from LA to Long Beach. Hands down, this was the best decision he's Ever made! Quan and Maurice showed up in the moving truck On Time!! My brother and his roommate had everything pretty organized, almost everything was packed or boxed and in the living room; for the things that weren't boxed, Quan and Maurice wrapped them in plastic to protect them. I was shocked that they wrapped my brother's recliner sofa Such an excellent, thorough job. Horrible company. I spoke with John Henry over the phone to get a quote and go over details. He confirmed the price and told me there wouldn't be any additional charges. I went over these details twice to be certain. Approximately a week before the move, I texted him to confirm my scheduled move and he confirmed for 9 am. The day of the move, the movers didn't show up. I texted and called John Henry to see what was going on. He told me they're probably just running late and they're on their way. BS! An hour went by and a different person called me from this company and gave me some excuse. An entirely different crew showed up several hours late (easily after 11 am) and told me a higher hourly rate than what John Henry confirmed with me. They also told me that it will be mandatory for me to crate my TVs, which will be an extra charge. When I originally spoke with John Henry over the phone and specifically went over this with him, he definitely did not say crating was mandatory. In fact, he said my TVs can be blanketed and shrink wrapped, no charge. He told me I could provide my own TV boxes if I wanted to. On top of that, the crew that showed up was unprofessional. One guy just stood around doing nothing watching me talking on the phone with John Henry even though he already told me they started charging from the moment they parked. If you're getting paid, then work. The other one moved super slow. They moved three of my boxes outside, took a while to come back, moved the three boxes back in, and told me they were not going to move me. I called John Henry to sort things out and he refused to talk to the movers. He weaseled his way out of taking responsibility and ownership of his customer's issue and said, "I'm just the sales guy." He also had the nerve to tell me that he was losing money on this move, even though he wasted my whole work day that I scheduled off for the move because his first crew was a no-show and his second crew bailed. He refused to help resolve the issue for me and told me, "You'll have to find other movers." I wonder how he would feel if he had an urgent appointment scheduled and that business pulled the rug out from under him last minute? In my experience dealing with John Henry, he was unprofessional, untrustworthy, and failed to provide good customer service. This is an extremely unprofessional company. Don't use these guys if you expect reliability, trustworthiness, or efficiency. ** A few hours after my honest review, this company sic'd their lawyer on me to try to intimidate me into removing my truthful account of my experience. I used this company to move from Los Angeles to San Clemente in July after another moving company kept falling through. Quan and Homer came out on an insanely hot day and hustled so hard to get all my belongings safely in the truck, and everything moved into my new place with ease. Quan was so personable and they did everything quickly without any issues or damage to any of my items. Everything was explained to me with ease. They provided me with an estimate of costs and were very clear about all additional charges that might pertain (supplies for wrapping items, boxes needed etc)--- they happily moved all the items into the right rooms once we arrived at my new place and even helped set up some things for me. The nicest, most professional AND FASTEST (which saved me money!) movers I have ever worked with. The total cost came well under what I anticipated to spend and alliances with the low end of the estimate provided. I will highly recommend them to my family and friends and absolutely call them if I ever need to move in Southern California again. The only negative thing that frustrated me was the frequent calls and texts requesting that I leave a review from John Henry ---- I was unpacking and getting settled so a little more patience on that end would be appreciated. However, John Henry was awesome in setting up the move and scheduling things and following up to ensure it went well. Great experience overall ---- the work ethic is obvious. When you're paying for the time they move and drive, the strong work ethic and hustle really shows that they care about you and your costs and time. They followed up after my move to make sure nothing was broken and everything was accounted for after finally unpacking and getting settled in. I had a big move this weekend in the pouring rain. I was so upset and worried that all my things would be soaking wet and there would be such a mess. These guys took such great care to keep my floors clean. They placed mats and cardboard everywhere, so floors stayed dry. My moving experience with Relocation Network (Nick and Henrique) on Aug 23 was amazing. They showed up in the time frame they mentioned and got to work right away. They carefully wrapped all my furniture and everything arrived in great condition, minus a small mishap with a wheel on my underbed storage. However, they fixed it right away on the spot. Nick made it very clear throughout the whole process how much things were going to cost and that they don't price gouge on materials like I've seen other companies do. In the end, the move cost much less than the other companies I researched. Laura, who I spoke with on the phone to set the move up, was very helpful, answering all my questions and even following up to see how the move went. If/When I move again, I will be using Relocation Network. The only con I can think of is they didn't call me the day before to confirm so I had to call the office and make sure everything was still going according to plan. read more

Horrible experience. thieves!!!! Not only stole thousands of dollars of electronics from my studio but also took my daughters clothes. All of them. On top of my sons toy Boxes with their special toys. One of the movers new dad. coincidence, I think not. I originally thought several items were missing from my items that were stored at ReLocation Network and recently redelivered, but I just found them in the POD that was redelivered by another moving service. I still believe that I was grossly overcharged by ReLocation Network for one day's work. It was over $6,000 (including a demanded $650 "tip"). The work was very professionally done, but they grossly overcharged me for boxes and packing materials. Much cheaper to buy your own boxes and padding. They also charged me $700 for two months storage and redelivery of a few pieces of furniture in a small truck. read more

It seems like all they care about is that they get a good review. They really don't want to deal with cases where their company terribly failed. They originally contacted me about figuring out a way to "make things right" after over 2 years of my letting them know how badly they did their job. Then, they decided to respond to my reply after months and months of waiting. It was only after I posted an "updated" review on Yelp did they don me with a reply. They explained their belated response with blaming their spam filter for mislabeling my email to them. Really... Yelp doesn't have a spam filter. They simply lied in an attempt to get rid of another bad review. The guy who responded said he was just about to get the manager to solve the situation, but now I needed to remove my updated review in order for that "solution" to arrive. I'm not sure why, but I actually believed them and went ahead and removed the updated review. I had to wait a long while again. Only after I told them that I would post my review again, the guy told me that the company doesn't feel responsible for what had happened so long ago. He told me that now the company is owned by completely different people who are not like the previous people at all. In addition, he said that to be nice, he would give me a $100 Amazon gift card and that I had to be extremely grateful for that gesture as that money was going to come from his own pocket. To receive that card, I had to remove my original review. As a bonus, he would later make sure I would get a great deal if I were to use their company for my future move. Seriously??? These people had kept the company's name, so, by definition, they did choose to be associated with the previous owners. Then, all their promises to make things right for me actually amounted to nothing -- the company could care less about their botching my move, they only wanted their representative to get me to remove my bad review. For nothing. They were even not willing to offer me any compensation whatsoever. Apparently, the guy's conversation with his manager resulted in the company telling their customer satisfaction representative to pay me off from his own pocket!!!! How does this prove that they are a "different" company? It actually proves the very opposite!!! These so-called "new" owners could care less about their company's (they kept the name, remember?) customers, just like the "old" owners. And why on earth would I then risk using their services for my move anytime in the future??? After a long, long, long while afterwards, the same guy contacts me again saying that the company was willing to compensate me by tuning my piano... Again, seriously???? One, I had repeatedly told them I had to sell my piano for the substantially lower price because they had damaged it!!! Two, even if I still had the piano, no amount of their tuning would return it to its previous value because, well, they had damaged it!!! Anyway, as I said, I would NEVER use their company again, not even after they had promised to give me the very "best" deal for my move. They answered all of my questions and cared to explain everything from the labor to payment processes. Fragile furniture and TVs were wrapped and reinforced without me having to request, in fact, they asked first. The move was incredibly fast and professionally done and not a scratch on anything. These guys were 4.5 hours late on moving day. No email ahead of time confirming the appointment. I got a call from a guy 2 days before the move asking if we could shift the time so that they could tackle another move in the morning and I said that was fine. He had both addresses written down wrong and I had to correct him carefully over the phone even though I submitted all the moving info in a web form. Somehow they had my name wrong as well, which is interesting because I have received a bunch of junk mail at the new home addressed to the same wrong name they had on file. The guys were supposed to show up from between 1 and 3 and nobody called me to let me know they were going to be late. I had to track down their number to ask what the deal is and finally at around 4 someone told me the movers were on their way. To "make it right" they sent a third guy to help the move go faster at a "discounted rate", I was actually paying more per hour in the end. I'm only giving a second star because the actual movers were nice and got the job done. They did leave a few black marks on my walls while trying to move furniture up the stairs, but I think that's probably on par with most movers. Most likely they got screwed over by the dispatcher as much as I did in this situation. If they'd showed up on time without hassle I would give this service 4 stars, but charging me extra to move because they were extremely late is just unacceptable. Update: Someone from the company reached out to me and let me know that they did not sell my information to junk mailers and I take them at their word, although threatening me with a lawsuit was a bit much. read more

They came immediately, shrink-wrapped our furniture and carefully wrapped each and every item in our cabinets and pantry. They stored our belongings for six months. The men who returned the boxes and furniture treated our property as if it were their own. They carefully unloaded all of our belongings. There was not a scratch or a broken dish. Hired this company again. Finally I moved my stuff from 2 storage units in Pasadena to a much closer storage. Hired a moving company because I don't want to deal with the heavy lifting especially in the summer. Relocation Network moving crews were very efficient and fast. They were able to move my stuff within less than 3 hours. Driving to the Valley was a pain because of traffic. I could've asked my friends but it was too hot and I don't have a truck to move them. So much damage. I let some pictures speak, but so much is damaged. When I saw the answer of the CEO in one of the reviews, I thought these guys must be rockstars and they do the best move. Lets do it!!!! Oh my god. When two guys show up in the middle of the day and the first thing they say is: I'm so tired, then it only can get worst. And let me tell you, it got so much worst. Truck: Not sure they have trucks, but the one they used for my house had a rental car company name on it. Blankets for protection: They bring them, but only have a few so that they only protected the bottom have of most items. Which means if inside the truck things came together, the other half was unprotected and the chances to get damaged was 50%. I believe if you call two guys on craigslist, you might get better service. After the move has been completed, they rush and want to to sign so many things so that they won't get sued or charged for damages. My advice: Spend more money and get a good moving company. Spend 1500-3000$, because the damages this company does it way more. Alone my westelm sofa which has cost me 1700$ has now a hole in the back which I saw once they left and I signed everything. read more
