I'm very disappointed in the lack of Integrity of the dealership in Sacramento called CarSight operated by Keith Butler. If you live in the Sacramento area and are trying to purchase a car by looking through Carfax, do not trust CarSight. They knew my husband and I were handicapped and we trusted him his exact words were "its an excellent car, runs fantastic". I researched CarFax and did hours of Due Diligence.I spoke with Keith Butler for over an hour on the phone, we bought a vehicle from them, even though we hadn't seen it or tested it. Oh did I fail to mention, my husband and I are both handicapped and we live an hour away from the dealership? 4 days after we purchased the vehicle my husband was driving me to chemo and it totally quit on him, we had to have it towed to a repair shop. They did a complete diagnostic on it and found that it needed electrical repairs. Also after having a complete diagnostic on the vehicle out we were told the heating and cooling system did not work. So we spent $3,100 on top of the $4,000 that we gave CarSight, when we purchased it. I have called Keith Butler (owner?) Michael (manager) NUMEROUS times trying to get any kind of cooperation out of them. It has now been 3 months that we've owned the vehicle and we still don't have ANY paperwork from DMV. No registration or anything, When we went down to the DMV they told us that this vehicle is still in the ORIGINAL owners name (not CarSight's name). So to no avail none of the employees at CarSight are willing to help remedy this. I know...... buyer beware!!!! We are Handicapped and need ANY help... I thought I was making a good choice by going with the small group of friends who are local to sac. and opened this car lot. They sold me a 2000 explorer that was$800 above the high priced value. Had 140,000+ miles on it. Ran great on test drive but a week later was rattling, had a short in air bag system from them disconnecting GPS kuz I wasn't paying$400 more. Only had it 4 months and put nearly $2000 in repairs. They knew this truck had issues. My thing about it all is just be honest. This was my first and last buy of a used car from a lot. They talked a good talk but never made it right. Also, they will sneak the smog fee in to your payment. Don't buy unless under warranty. I've always bought used older cars from private parties and every car was worth it, none ever immediately started sucking money from my pocket such as this did. Just purchased a car that I've been scouting a couple of months from Carsight. I saw a Carfax ad for the vehicle that was posted a day ago and called them up. I was greeted by Keith. I told him that I had a trade-in that was worth more than the car he had in his lot and asked if we could work a deal out. Keith was willing to make me a great deal for my car. I had to confirm with him first before driving out there from Uniom City (1.5hr drive). When I got to the dealership, i saw the car I was interested in and met Jesse. Then, a few minutes later, I met with Keith. The trade-in process was a breeze with these boys. I also met Cody and Kyle as well when I was waiting to run paperwork with them. They were very hospitable and honest with every question I had in regard to the vehicle I was purchasing. The test drive was also great. The car ran smooth and was really cleaner in person. Jesse and I took a 15-minute test drive just to make sure that everything was running great. Jesse also went out of his way to buy and install new windshield wipers for the car since it was raining hard that day, and I did have a long drive. Keith, Jesse, Cody, and Kyle were really nice people and were easy to talk to and joke around with. I always get anxious dealing with dealership salesmen, but I honestly did not get that vibe here. Keith also has 15+ years in this business along with his other colleague at a bigger corporate dealership, so these guys are not amateurs. I was told they started up strictly through internet sales, and now they have a lot. If these guys keep up this great work, then no doubt in my mind will they get to be one of the big dog internet sales companies like Shift or Carvana.
