From the start, working with Michael, my salesman, was a pleasure. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and kept me informed at every step. The communication throughout the entire project was excellent, which set the tone for everything that followed. During the work, a small detail was overlooked, and in the course of addressing it, some glass was accidentally damaged during grout service. These things can happen, and what matters to me is how a company responds when they do. Grout Medic responded the right way. When the first technician wasn't able to fully remediate the issue, they didn't leave me hanging or make excuses. Instead, they brought in a dedicated glass and mirror specialist who spent several hours carefully repairing the damaged glass and getting it right. On top of that, Michael himself came back out to personally evaluate the situation and make sure I was taken care of. That level of follow-through is rare. It would have been easy for a company to downplay the issue or drag their feet, but Grout Medic did the opposite. They owned the honest mistake, stayed with me until everything was fully resolved, and clearly cared about standing behind their work. I would absolutely hire them again, not because of the mistake, of course, but because of the integrity they demonstrated in handling it and the quality of the work they ultimately delivered. By the time they were done, it was like a whole new shower. I couldn't believe how good it looked! Like brand new! The floor was also cleaned and one horrible stain was almost completely removed. When the estimator came to check out the job, he was very friendly and professional. I asked if they could also clean the mold in the bath grout (glass tile); he said yes so I asked him to add this to the proposal. I discussed the proposal in detail over the phone and scheduled the job. The marble was cleaned and polished but some of the dirt in the cracks did not come off. My biggest disappointment, though, was that the mold in the grout between the bath shower tiles did not come off completely. When I asked why the black spots didn't come out, the reasoning that was given to me was that the mold is too deeply embedded in the grout. I asked whether the solution used contained bleach, and the answer was no, that bleach can cause damage to tiles, and the solution used (created by their own chemist) doesn't contain bleach for this reason. So I sprayed my own tile with bleach. The first picture shows before and after. On the left is the grout cleaned by CSI, and the picture on the right is 5 minutes after spraying with bleach. I expected the tile to look like the picture on the right when I asked CSI to include this in their quote (I paid $375 for this part of the work, when $5 bottle of bleach did the work). The second picture is the marble floors in the kitchen, finished product. Cleaned and polished, though still some dirt can be seen. Overall I liked the company and their customer service. I gave them feedback and they were receptive to improving their work.

It was one of the first things I planned to replace. But after one cleaning, CCG completely brought it back to life and it looks brand new. I have two big dogs, so I have them come about every nine months and they consistently do the wall-to-wall carpet in my basement and the stairs up to the first floor as well as my couch. And the couch is done cushion by cushion and pillow by pillow. Both the carpet and the couch always look brand new after they leave. Sporadically, I have also hired them to clean other pieces of furniture that I don't use that often - to an amazing end. And recently, they started doing my custom runner up the stairs from my first to second floor. I was a little nervous about it at first as it has custom canvas trim - but again - looks fabulous.
