Reviewing now after originally having reviewing positively because I had a bad experience after paying for the dress and coming back for my alteration/fitting/ pick up appts and am still extremely mad about the whole situation with this bridal shop. It felt like they were so great when I first visited and found my dress. Unfortunately, my visits after had me feeling fooled. The beading on the dress they had "removed" wasn't finished with some beads falling off and loose threads still now when I try it on, as well as comments about how hard and how much work the beading removal was when the owner had originally said it wasn't a big deal. Also, it was dirty and I mentioned the spots I saw and was blamed for these when I had only tried it on in their dressing room while their staff had altered and worked on my dress which is where the dirt spots came from. I was also body shamed when my dress didn't fit at this visit and their comments about it included telling me I needed to diet which had me feeling so self conscious I didn't want to return there at all, so I left that day with the dress that didn't fit. Also, mind you, I told them not to alter my dress because my body could change and they didn't remember my comment and altered it anyways, they definitely need to take notes after visits or phone conversations because clearly they are mixing up bridal appts. Such a horrible experience after this shop got my money and it sucks because my first visit I had loved and raved about this place to my friends. read more

I said "YES" to the dress at A Royal Moment! After a long weekend of dress shopping, I had one last appointment scheduled at A Royal Moment on a Wednesday. (Pro tip: take advantage of their "Wedding Wednesdays" for a significant discount if they still have it!) At this point in the dress shopping process, I knew what I liked so I browsed their website beforehand and had my heart set on trying one of their dresses. Come Wednesday, as soon as I put it on, I was pretty sure I had found my dress. I decided to try on some others to be sure but I went back to my dress and made the decision that day! Despite it being a Wednesday night, the employees were so kind and patient to stay late! I also want to give a shoutout to Aida who handled my alterations. I took a wedding gown in to have it altered. Lyz was not afraid to take a portion of it apart, and redesign it to fit my figure. While I was there, they also had me try on some dresses, based on my concerns we had discussed. They carry small sizes on the rack, and brought me 3 dresses to try on, that fit me to a tee. I stayed with the dress I originally brought in, with Lyz's alterations. It was perfect! I met with her several times. Everyone was so pleasant, accommodating and professional. I came in with my sister to look at wedding dresses for her wedding a few weeks ago. Everyone was so nice in helping us. They allowed us to take pictures of each dress and allowed time to FaceTime our mom to show her the dress. We did not purchase the dress during our visit simply because our mom was not there, however we plan on purchasing it when she comes to visit. Positives: The prices of the dresses are very reasonably priced The location is very spacious so you can bring multiple people with you. They also offered drinks and small chocolates. They did not have a time limit on the appointment which allowed us to try on multiple dresses. I honestly can not think of any negatives. read more

This place truly should get a million stars! They really did give me my royal moment and truly made me feel like the only bride in the entire world on my day! First off they were so accommodating with my guests allowing my best friend to bring in her newborn with us because she had no child care, incredible! After 2 dress shops and what felt like eternity. I finally found the one at A Royal Moment. The dress I purchased wasn't what I originally had in mind for myself as it is strapless and a little more material on the bottom than I thought I would be into. But the dress is absolutely stunning, and when I put it on I knew! My bridal consultant, was so sweet and patient with me. I tried on a few other dresses before I finally made my decision. While I was putting on the dress for the second time we began chatting a bit about my wedding theme and she asked what song I was walking down the aisle to. I said "Kiss the girl" from the little mermaid. She left the room and returned with the song playing. I walked back into the room where my family and friends were waiting to the song playing. This wedding boutique is very unique. the store is beautiful and offers some of the most beautiful dresses. The dress I chose was sophisticated and the perfect choice for me. I explained what I was looking for, the owner brought out 4 dresses. I bought the first one I tried on. she was spot on to my needs listened to the style of dress I was trying to find and zeroed in on the perfect dress. we spent the next few months customizing and creating 3/4 sleeves. the finished dress was magnificent and exactly what I wanted. if you want a dress that no one else is going to find, come to this little gem if wedding dresses. read more

Went to shop here and it was an awful experience. The reviews made me hopeful, but it was not at all what I thought it would be. First , my appointment started late. Then, I got asked by about 4 different people what styles and such I prefer and what I don't like. Despite telling them what I don't like, they kept trying to put me in things I said I didn't want! One stylist who seemed to be in training tried to put me in something not even remotely my style or what I asked for. The other lady had such a bad attitude when I told her that what she brought me, I didn't want to try on. I had almost no help putting the dresses on too. The curtain to the fitting room isn't very private and I was naked and there were random men (who work or are acquainted with the employees) just walking around in there. The woman helping me also went to adjust the train of the dress she flashed my butt to everyone. It was just an absolutely awful experience and really ruined dress shopping for me. I don't like that they don't have prices on their dresses either. read more

Their customer service is superb, outstanding and remarkable, I was very impressed. They went above and beyond to help me find my fairytale wedding dress within my budget. If I could give this place a negative rating I would definitely do that . The location of the store has changed two time since we began looking at dresses at this store , the employee turn over is horrible, there are always new people working with no consistent person as the point of contact . Of course they let you try on as many dress as you would like, but the dress and material is very very low quality. I have shown my dress that was purchased there to a professional dress maker who has done fashion week and runway and she referred to the quality of the dress and lower than forever21 quality. The owner Darlyn was extremely hard to get ahold of once confronted with this complaint of low quality dress, she gave me a floor model which the dress was no longer white but a tan yellow color , it contain stains on the dress and the bust line was so expanded that it was stretched. She was not helpful after I pointed out the flaws in the dress she gave me . She then thought I was stupid enough to take her soiled and stained dress home with me , she disputed my claim that with my credit card company and thinks that giving me another used and sample dress of the right thing to do. When I tried to go back I found that there was other brides picking up there dress that was not satisfied with the dress the quality and the alterations being made to the dress . How can someone run a business like that for such a special time in one person life like that and be okay with it ... the wedding is less than a month away and I have no dress because of this place . I have the worst wedding dress experiences ever , it has been a nightmare. The owner Darlyn has called and texted and harassed me to get another dress but a soiled stained , too large and poor quality dress is what I got the first time , why in the world would I dare get anything else from this horrible person who calls themselves a professional. Please do not consider looking at this place . It has caused so much stress and anxiety when this time in my life would be amazing . I wish I could tell you this is a fake post but this has been a nightmare of an experience. Please don't be fooled by this place ! read more

This bridal shop was everything we could have asked for and more. My friend is the bride, and she was able to find the perfect dress! The stylists were so attentive to her needs and wants. After trying on a few dresses, my friend had made some points about what she loved about the dresses, and what she didn't love about each dress. They were able to take what she loved from each dress and found a dress that had everything she asked for! Typically you go to these things and the stylist gets quite annoyed after a certain point because they seem "over it". These stylists were amazing the whole time! I would definitely recommend you check them out if you are a bride looking for the perfect dress. They were also able to work with the budget my friend was on. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I came here 8 months prior to my wedding and found a dress I liked. The sample dress I tried on was gray and I asked the lady multiples times if it came in white and she said of course she would order it in white. The lady placed the order and said it would arrive in 3 weeks. I came in for alterations once my dress "should have arrived" and they were trying to sell me the sample dress. She argued with me and said it was my dress but I knew it was the sample dress which was dirty and GRAY!!! I told her that this is not a new dress and after she noticed that I could tell it was the sample, she lied and said ohh it must be a mistake. After going to "check the back" my dress was no where to be found and they said it must have gotten lost!! It was an absolute nightmare!! A week later I went to another wedding dress store and found the same dress for $800 cheaper!!! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more

I came to A Royal Moment to find my dream wedding dress for my wedding in May. I had been to two other places - and thought I had found the one, until coming here! When we walked through the door, the ambience and decor is upscale and sets the tone of wedding dress shopping. My party and I were greeted and escorted to a private area for try-ons. We had Farrah as our consultant, and she couldn't have been nicer! She was patient with all of the difficult dresses I wanted to try on, and even offered to help me try ones on again. After visiting two other bridal shops beforehand, I arrived for my appointment with A Royal Moment and completely fell in love with the very first dress that I tried on. In my heart, I knew that I had found my bridal gown. But, for the fun of it, I tried on a few more gorgeous dresses, just to be sure. But I was right; the first gown was it! I had a lace jacket (like a small shrug) created to wear over the dress so that I could wear it under the Chuppah (it was a religious ceremony and I wanted to be a little more covered up). Lucy did a spectacular job on the alterations, and I now had two looks for the wedding. The gown with the small lace shrug was just as stunning as when I took the shrug off for the reception. I received endless compliments on my dress, and felt completely beautiful! In addition, I had a niece and a cousin who were each getting married, and they found their dresses at A Royal Moment, as well. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like a bride. The provided other accessories to complement the dress she selected. No pressure on their part for one to buy other items. The showing area was clean and spacious. About a month before my wedding, I reached out asking the owner (Darlyn) if they had dresses off the rack that were available for purchase. Excited to hear that they did, I went in for a speedy try-on session (I move fast and so did they); after 10+ dresses, I found the one I wanted. Immediately we set up a time for the seamstress (Lyz) for the first fitting. Under my tight timeline, Lyz was able to make it work and had me in about a week before the big day. I took my dress home that day thinking it was fine, but then two days before the wedding, I figured out the dress was just too tight for a comfortable day. Daryln and Lyz were both accommodating in getting this nervous bride squared away last minute - thank goodness!!
