The most awful experience EVER ! From the lack of customer service to poor product quality to the overall deception in all interactions, the owner/manager should be embarrassed. Royal Moment resold/misplaced/lost my goddaughter's dress leaving her without a dress 2 months before her wedding. Then they were completely unapologetic and tried to offer as a solution ... a dirty floor sample, a few dresses of poorer quality or a piecemeal recreation of another dress. The store owner was unavailable 2 weekends in a row to help solve the issue and when we finally asked for a refund, we received BS answers as to why the owner was unavailable (at lunch, then they were on their way, then they were in the emergency room). Which she appeared to have a miraculous recovery from, as Darlyn (owner) showed up an hour later looking fresh as a daisy. Just another one of their lies & examples of their unprofessionalism. Avoid Royal Moment at all costs ! There are far too many other honest & professional wedding boutiques in the area. read more

I loved getting my dress at A Royal Moment! I picked this wedding dress store because they have a pretty quick turn around time. I went into to try on dresses about 6 months from my wedding. Also, they allowed for 5-6 guests to accompany me, while other boutiques only allowed 3-4. I was helped by Farrah and she was so kind and friendly and made the whole experience wonderful. She was very patient, did not make me feel rushed, and showed me many different styles based on my ideas and reactions to each dress I tried. I really loved that A Royal Moment has in-house seamstresses, which allowed for customization of my wedding dress to be exactly what I wanted. Aida was the seamstress that worked on my dress and she was also wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Her work on my dress was excellent, you could not tell where the alternations on the dress were made. She brought the vision I had for my dress to life. I wish I could comment on their alterations skills, however, we did not get that far. When I arrived for my initial appointment I was escorted to my try on area where I proceeded to wait for 30 minutes without a single person acknowledging me. To make matters worse, the bride next to me was crying and very upset about the alterations plans, communication and overall faith that her alterations would be done in time. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, however, after sitting alone for 30 minutes with no attention whatsoever, I started to feel concerned about how they would communicate with me and handle altering my dress. I ultimately ended up getting up and leaving when they finally acknowledged me and asked if I wanted to "wait more" or "schedule another appointment". The reviews on their alterations look nice, however, the customer service and blatant disrespect for my time made this not worth finding out for me. i hope the crying bride is okay! save the tears and try elsewhere is my suggestion. read more

I went dress shopping back in November. I had minimal idea of what my dream dress would be and was worried I wouldn't find myself falling in love as I'm not the biggest fan of my body. Someone had told me you'll feel beautiful trying on dresses regardless, and they were right! I found A Royal Moment at a Bridal Expo and a dress they had on display had caught my eye. Halfway through I tried it on hoping it was the one and when I tried it on, my heart sank. I knew it wasn't the one, I was so uncomfortable in the dress, but my group was loving the dress and finding ways to accentuate it. Finally my MOH asked if I wanted to try another dress (bless her for stepping back and waiting until everyone was done and saying what I couldn't). Tried on a few more dresses. I was originally being helped by the owner and then swapped to Taylor who was an absolute gem. I told her what I had loved about other dresses and wished there was one that had a little of this and a little of that. She went to look and came back with a dress that ended up being the one! I truly appreciate her patience and assistance in helping me find my wedding dress and I hope to see her again at my dress fitting coming up in a few months! Update after dress fitting one: I was surprised to see that the dress ordered for me was still too small/not the right size. We ended up having to add a corset (which I understand alterations cost money, just frustrating it was to expand the dress that was supposed to be "my size"), so hopefully it fits and still looks nice. I'm worried adding the corset will drastically change the dress I fell in love with. Now no fault to the shop/dress, as I have a short torso, we also have to shorten the bodice of the dress. I am hoping at my next fitting my dress finally fits and closes and still looks as beautiful as the first dress I tried on and loved. read more

I was always scared of trying on wedding dresses since I was a bigger woman and other shops made me feel my weight. A Royal Moment made me feel so welcomed and safe during the entire dress trials. They let my entire bridal party come and enjoy the moment with me. They even held the phone for friends who were face timing in. Darlyn asked for my style preference, and found all the styles in my size and even gave me other options. With every dress I tried one, they listened to my feedback and rotated the options. There was over 15 options ready for me to try, but it only took me 3 tries to find the dress I loved. It was significantly over my budget and I was ready to say no, but Darlyn worked with my budget, dropped the price, and helped me get my dream dress. I couldn't be any happier! When it came to alterations, they were more than accommodating for me. They knew I was out of state and worked with my availability. They opened the shop late in the evening for me and did everything they could to have the alterations completed before I headed back. Layla, the in house seamstress, is hands down amazing. Not only did she let out multiple panels, hem my dress, make a beautiful bustle (for an EXTREMELY affordable price) but she did this all within 12 hours and the final product was amazing. When I started looking for dresses, it was difficult to find exactly the type of dress for my wedding. When I found A Royal Moment, I immediately saw multiple dresses that I liked and would have liked to try on. The different styles of dresses definitely made me book an appointment. Booking an appointment was very easy. All I did was enter in the type of dress (ballgown for me) that I was looking for and a size range. Then came the day of the appointment! When I came in with my mom and future mother in law, we were the only customers in the store. I was taken into the dressing area where they had already pulled no less than 6 dresses for me just based on me saying I wanted a ballgown! They helped me get tied into the gowns and showed them off to my family. Before I knew it 2 or more hours had passed. Throughout that entire time I never felt rushed or pressured into something. They were all very understanding when something didn't work for my body type and also highlighted the dresses that looked the best. Towards the end of the appointment, we hadn't found "the one", but they came out with a dress that was similar to one I had tried on. The unfortunate thing was it wasn't in my size. This wasn't a problem for them as they told me they could order in the dress for me within a few days and I could come back to try it on as well as some other dresses that they didn't have at the time. The next week I came back, having not slept well the night before due to the excitement! We went in and saw the dresses that I was going to try on for the day. I tried on the dress that they ordered and it fit very well! Thinking, this can't possibly be "the one" we continued to try on other dresses for a few hours, but something kept me going back to that first dress. I tried on the dress again and we spoke about some alterations that would be possible to make the dress work perfectly. We then tried on vails and I started to cry. It was such a special moment and to find "the one" after only going to one store was a dream come true. Thank you to Darlyn and the rest of the team for being so patient with us and so accommodating. The sitting room for your family and friends is beautiful with couches, a platform to stand on to see all the dress details and floor to ceiling mirrors to see every angle. I went here last Sunday 11/21/21 to look for my wedding dress. It was the first place I looked into to find my potential wedding dress. First off, it's easy to find and in a good area as far as location and other businesses around it. I have never been to a wedding dress store nor tried on a wedding dress ever. So this being my first place I didn't know what to expect. I am happy to say I did find my wedding dress here and purchased already. I had a really great experience here. I was happy that they had quite a few different styles in plus sizes since I am technically a plus size (1X/2X) They were so welcoming and nice and very very accommodating. Catered to everything I asked for. They do all in house alterations and can pretty much customize any dress you want to whatever you want. They are more than willing to accommodate anything for you to help you find your perfect dress for your perfect day. I had Taylor as my helper and she was beyond excellent. She worked really hard that day for me! I even went over my time limit (they state it's a 1-2 hour appointment time) they didn't push me or even make me feel like I was taking too long. They never approached me or anyone in my party about the time frame so that was really nice. All of the staff were happy that I found my dress and even said to me personally that they were happy I found my dress! I definitely recommend this place for there excellent service and wide variety of dress choices and reasonable prices. LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My daughters wedding was just weeks away and she hadn't found the right dress, then she found this bridal boutique! I think it was the 1st or 2nd dress my daughter tried on that was absolutely perfect! And it was in our price range. The length just needed hemming a little in the front and since my daughter wanted super soft tulle against her skin, the seamstress added a layer of it under the current tulle so it would feel soft against her skin. No one noticed, it was done so well! She looked amazing! Darlyn, the owner, and her sister, were soooo nice! They offered us water and I was able to relax on their comfy couches.
