I cannot say enough positive things about Meral! She is a true magician! As you can imagine, getting a wedding dress altered, even if it's the most simple of alterations, can be very nerve racking for any bride. In my case, I needed to let out my dress in my waist and hips and wanted to full reconstruct the front and bust of my dress because I wanted to make it I to a deep sweetheart neckline. Hi he dress was purchased brand new and was a style I hadn't seen out there with a wide deep v neckline into a halter style with straps to the back of the dress. Beautiful in its own way but not what I wanted for my wedding. I wanted strapless with a deep v and an illusion inlay in the bust. I wanted straps to be removable so I could wear them just for dancing. Additionally I wanted a bustle and a bit of a "booty pop". Not having much junk in the trunk if you will, Meral was able to make a few minor alterations to my dress layers so that it looked like I had this nice round booty without it even being bustled yet and I loved it! I didn't have any one photo of what I wanted for inspiration but I had some similar looks to reference. This uncertainty didn't scare Meral. Instead she too her time and made small steps until we got the look just right. I literally cried when I saw her final edit of the front of my dress because she had nailed it so perfectly. The thing with her is that she is a dress designer and not just an alterations pro. She can look at a dress, on or off the body, and immediately know how she has to adjust it to sit just right on YOU. She is a truly talented and above this, a real sweetheart. I called her my Turkish fairy godmother throughout whole process because she really made my dreams come true with what she was able to do with my dress. Trusting someone to completely reconstruct your wedding dress is a very terrifying task. What if it doesn't fit right? What if it's cut and not how you wanted it? You can't just get a new one and start over. These are all very real concerns but Meral gave me the trust in her talents right from the start. Each fitting was more reassurance that she was going to make this dress absolutely perfect and in the end, I felt like a princess on my wedding day thanks to her magic!
