Visiting CO on a business trip, ended up with some pain in my neck & shoulder, so I figured i'd call around and check availability. I called TBU Massage and spoke with Ryan. He said he was available and took me in an hour later. They are located in a newer building. The establishment was very clean and organized. Ryan greeted me as I walked in and introduced me to the owner. He had me fill out some paper work and asked me some questions regarding my visit. Ryan was very professional, I was asking questions through out my massage and he took the time to answer them with out sacrificing the quality of the massage at the same time. He's very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he does. At the end he offered some advice on stretches to help with my pain. I got Rebecca for my haircut, she kind of seemed all over the place with my hair. And it showed. My hair was pretty long and I wanted to get it cut short to about my collarbone, she got the length correct, but the layers on one side of my hair are different than the other side. I had to cut of some hair that was longer than the rest. I don't want to steer people away just because I had a bad experience. The receptionist I spoke with was super sweet and professional. And the place was so cute and clean! I would say to definitively give them a try, I would just triple check it's done right before leaving :). Rebecca was really nice, but I think maybe she needs like a lot more practice. Update: just got a call back form Norma, and she explained that Rebecca was super not feeling good and that this never happens, people always come back to her as a regular client. So, I assumed that she was inexperienced and that wasn't the case! I'm going back in for a "tune up" with Rebecca and excited to see how my hair comes out :). I've been here a couple of times now and I have to say it is very relaxing to go into a spa/salon and feel at ease. The moment you walk in the decor and lighting set a great tone for your experience here. The first I went I had a facial done. It was absolutely amazing. The second time I went I had a Balayage with a cut and style, Rebecca did a really good job and was extremely patient with my hair. Given the fact that it didn't take very well the first time around. She was also very personable and friendly. I can say I was relaxed to the point where I may have fallen asleep in the chair. All in all, if you're looking for a place to go for any service. I have been looking for a new massage therapist. I'm not into the chain rush you in and out environment. I want a peaceful, relaxing environment. Last night I spent time searching and decided to give TBU a call. Jessie answered and was able to get me in this morning. I arrived to find Jessie waiting for me. Great experience from calling to book and getting in same day to wonderful full body massage from Ryan! Visited while in Thornton on vacation and found them on yelp. Called and got an appt for a few hours later for myself and husband. Easy to find the place. It's nice and clean and they are all very friendly and courteous. Jessie has been our massage therapist for over six months now. He is always on time if not five minutes early. He is very organized, presentable & extremely kind. I have chronic pain that is with me each & everyday. Jessie helps me to manage that pain & gives me a chance to reboot & not devote all my energies into managing it but just helps me to let go & relax. It is a two hour gift of a normal life. Set up a membership for my partner so she could get massages once or twice a month. I paid 100.00 a month for over a year. We had some issues with my card and when she tried to get the membership renewed she was given additude and treated very unprofessional. We have been talking to the owner and she said she reviewed the camera when my partner was tgeir the other day and sge stated that my partner did not pay. This is very unusual to us because my partner called from the bed to schedule her next appointment and hadn't stepped foot into the establishment. This proofs that customer service is not at its highest quality. So The owner just decided to just write us off as a customer instead of trying to make it right. We will be taking are hard earned money to a buisness that values their customers. I just hope they can figure out their customers service skills soon because in these hard times every dollar counts read more

My husband & I have been here a handful of times to get couples massages. I don't think we've had the same massage therapist the same time but everytime we've gone- we've been greeted, given water, and had an amazing experience with whoever massaged us. I also love the fact that they give our Military a discount!! Norma, Jessie & Lauren are wonderful at what they do & make you feel completely comfortable. I saw Rebecca two weeks ago, trying to get my dark hair to blonde. In just one appointment, I cannot believe the amount she lightened my hair! I was pretty hesitant going in, as I've had my hair damaged/ messed up with others in the past. She completely made me feel at ease, explained what the result and process would be, and 100% delivered! I had probably the best massage I've ever had last night at A TBU. Jessie was terrific - great communication, great pressure (a nice balance between therapeutic and relaxing) and the atmosphere is lovely and soothing. I have persistent neck issues from bad posture and computer use, and even though I always tell massage therapists that, they tend to treat the neck portion of the massage as a quick afterthought. But Jesse spent a lot of time, using hot towels to relax the muscles and doing some deep stretches. I felt great last night and I feel great today.
