Daniel is simply Awesome!!! My motorcycle exhaust pipe - basically it broke in half. It was still mounted to my motorcycle, and wasn't falling off, but it was totally broken. I thought for sure I'd have to spend $1k to $1.5k to replace it. And California has crazy exhaust laws so I thought I'd have to drive to AZ or NV to get the one I wanted. But...I called Daniel and in about 10 minutes he repaired with his welding skills!!! The price? It was fast and easy and he did it at no cost. I was floored! He was the only person I spoke to on the phone that knew exactly what I needed done to replace the OEM exhaust with an aftermarket cat back with active valves (and believe me I called about six shops in town) he talked me through the whole process and made me feel relieved and I knew he would be the only person that I wanted installing the exhaust. I actually witnessed the whole process and Danny and his co worker were very thorough and careful and meticulous throughout the whole process. The price was perfect for the work done and they even added some Tac welds to the fittings to ensure they don't come loose. Went in because my car began running very loud/deep and there was some rattling down there, put the car up right away, took me out and showed me what was wrong and what they were going to do and started working on it right away, 30 min max to cut and weld on new metal. I have never been treated as well as I was at A to Z just this morning. I took my car in for what I thought would be major work with a Christmas-killing bill. The noise it was making was scary enough, but the check engine light was on too, so that spells dollars to me. The two guys on duty were as nice as they could be. One of them, Reuben, showed me where to bring the car in for immediate service. They made me comfortable in the waiting room and about 20 minutes later, came in and told me it was only a minor repair and that it was good to go. When I asked what do I owe you, the answer was, have a great Christmas and it's on the house. Never in all my years, have I gone to an auto repair place and had this happen. I had them replace a stud on my exhaust manifold and they got the job done. BUT, in the process they got a bunch of grease on it and now it's burned on. It wouldn't matter if it was a stock header but it's aftermarket and i paid good money for it and now it looks like crap. Don't go there if you care how your engine looks. read more

On Vacation, I discovered my Boat Trailer had structural rust in three of the cross members. I called the guys at A to Z Muffler and asked them if they could fix it and they said bring it down for them to look at. With our boat in the water I towed the trailer about 60 miles to their shop from the Lake we were vacationing at. After looking at the job, they said they could fix it. I asked them, "what are we looking at in terms of cost?". They said about 3 hours at $90/hour, plus materials. Total cost came out to about $334. Work was done in a couple days. I was expecting it to be in the $800-$1,000 range. They cut out the Rusted Rectangle stock, and replaced them. Welds were nice and solid.
