Pre-treating was not included in this price and was $30 additional. Although this company takes checks and credit cards, we paid with cash for the additional treatment. My wife made our appointment approximately two months before the date of cleaning; she requested a 10:00 show time. The night before our cleaning, a representative from the company called to confirm that the workers would be showing up between 10:00 and 12:00. The day of our cleaning, we received a phone call from the workers at 12:30, and we were informed that they were about 15 minutes out. It was 12:55 before they arrived. The equipment is van mounted and powerful. Some carpet cleaning vans have a tank of water inside so that they don't require auxiliary water from the premises that they are cleaning. I find that it is a nice touch to have the vehicle show up all ready to go with water on board, but using water from our house is insignificant. It might not be insignificant to others. Asaf and his helper were courteous, efficient, and professional. Indeed, they are the best carpet cleaning agents we have ever had over to clean our carpets and are a large part of why I am writing this review! Asaf sprayed the pre-treatment thoroughly throughout the house, focusing on the heavy traffic areas and areas where there was localized spotting. The other gentleman brought in a wire rake/brush that he used to work the pre-treatment into the carpet and brush up the nap of the carpet. After thoroughly working over the carpet, Asaf's helper brought in the hoses and extraction wand, and the extraction began. Van-mounted extraction systems offer powerful suction and steaming hot water through the delivery hose. The equipment used for our cleaning was exactly that way, and the extraction process was thorough and efficient. The end result is that we paid ~$80.00 for pre-treating and steam extraction and are completely happy with the result. Asaf and his staff know exactly what they are doing with the carpet cleaning. (I have worked with similar equipment in the past and have perspective on this job.) My family can recommend The Dirt Doctor to you without hesitation or caution. Just be aware that when you make an appointment for them to come to you, you would be wise to have flexible plans on the day of the appointment.

I was blessed with another pleasant exceptional customer service experience from start to finish . I was looking at the Today show on June 5, 2024 . I don't watch a lot of television. A commercial came on for a different flooring company then a light bulb turned on . In that moment I remembered I hadn't replaced the flooring in my kitchen , pantry and laundry rooms. I made a call spoke initially with Joycelyn who answered my call. She found my info in their computer system from 5 years ago . She found an appointment the next day with a window of arrival 0900 - 11:00 am. They aim to arrive at the earlier time of the appointment. My service advisor was scheduled the next day , June 6, 2024 . Later, that day before my appointment , I received a text with a picture of the advisor Fabien D. with his contact number . Fabien was running ‍ late for our 9 am appointment the next day he left a vm . I missed his call by 2 mins but called him back. I wasn't upset but relieved to receive the voice message. We had good conversation when he arrived at my home . Fabien , was attentive and listened well. Fast forward to today . My installer Florencio A. actually arrived earlier than 0900. Again no complaints I rather a early arrival than a late one . . I gave Florencio a tour of the three spaces kitchen , pantry & laundry rooms that he would be working on . He caught me off guard as I was trying to move the last few things that needed to be moved . I am a disabled Navy veteran. Florencio was cool , calm and collect . He didn't gripe at all . As he was getting his materials from his truck I took quick pictures and videos . I am very happy with the outcome . Bravo Fabien and Florencio.

FLOORING DIRECT - The floor installer Joe took shortcuts and it's a rushed job. It's supposed to be…read morea two-day project, but they rushed through this job within one day. Poor and incomplete workmanship in terms of removing and reattaching my baseboards. I instructed Joe to just leave the baseboards alone and keep in place after he removed some of them and claimed that they were damaged. So, then they tried to sell me on getting new baseboards for the whole house but I rejected their suggestion. However, Joe didn't care about what I wanted, and they still went ahead and removed then lowered my baseboards after installing the new LVP flooring on the first floor of my house. They left these long, unpainted, exposed, and ugly drywall gaps. They also damaged some of my baseboards and like I said, left behind these long wall gaps in several places. Joe didn't even bother to inform me about the difference in baseboards' heights after reattaching them to my walls. I had to find out about this myself after the floor installer had already "finished" and left. After I texted her my concerns and my complaint, the sales lady Kathy just kept telling me that it's "normal" to have these long exposed wall gaps. She even suggested that my newly hired painter could just paint right over the rough and uneven gap ridges, without incurring additional expenses on my end. Oh really. I'd sure love to find out how much my new paint contractor would charge me just to repair these wall gaps!! Hire this flooring contractor at your own risks.

I was after getting a small project accomplished...a 9 x 11 master closet changed from carpet to wood look tile. My carpet is 18 years old and bunched up. But they apparently don't want my business because they asked me to send pics of what I had in mind because they wouldn't let me look at the selection for very long. They seemed as if they were too busy and put out to help a new customer since they were working on removing and returning the sampled inventory. This was a Monday and she said they'd be out to measure on Tuesday or the latest Wednesday and that was 4 weeks ago. I think it's they just don't want to do small jobs and weren't honest about it. But I always do small jobs to test the waters and evaluate their work first like I did with my granite countertops, before scheduling a much larger job. If they did great, I'd have gotten the rest of the carpet out of here. I cannot attest to their work because they don't want my business. Customer service has really taken a dive since Covid. Shame too, we like to use local small businesses.
