As a teacher, I contributed to the damage by breaking 2 ink pens in the master bedroom. The carpet on our stairs was flat. Well, I have been doing things on our home improvement list all year and it was time to get going on the carpet before the holidays. The last guy I called came in with a quote and then added a fortune for the areas I wanted him to actually work on. I put him out!! THEN came SQUEAKY CLEAN------ From the very beginning with the phone call, I got the Louisiana welcoming family feeling. They listened to me and took notes!! When I got the recap, I just prepared my heart for the shock. It was the same price as advertised! I chose the scent and a little spot cleaner for the ink. I even added 2 classroom rugs because they needed to be freshened up. The technician let me know when he hit a little traffic and I knew that communication meant I would be happy with the results. I can't describe how comfortable I was with staying out of the way to let him work. He explained what kind of products to use moving forward and even used something special to protect the areas I'd saturated with Resolve. I cannot sing the praises of the company highly enough

Pre-treating was not included in this price and was $30 additional. Although this company takes checks and credit cards, we paid with cash for the additional treatment. My wife made our appointment approximately two months before the date of cleaning; she requested a 10:00 show time. The night before our cleaning, a representative from the company called to confirm that the workers would be showing up between 10:00 and 12:00. The day of our cleaning, we received a phone call from the workers at 12:30, and we were informed that they were about 15 minutes out. It was 12:55 before they arrived. The equipment is van mounted and powerful. Some carpet cleaning vans have a tank of water inside so that they don't require auxiliary water from the premises that they are cleaning. I find that it is a nice touch to have the vehicle show up all ready to go with water on board, but using water from our house is insignificant. It might not be insignificant to others. Asaf and his helper were courteous, efficient, and professional. Indeed, they are the best carpet cleaning agents we have ever had over to clean our carpets and are a large part of why I am writing this review! Asaf sprayed the pre-treatment thoroughly throughout the house, focusing on the heavy traffic areas and areas where there was localized spotting. The other gentleman brought in a wire rake/brush that he used to work the pre-treatment into the carpet and brush up the nap of the carpet. After thoroughly working over the carpet, Asaf's helper brought in the hoses and extraction wand, and the extraction began. Van-mounted extraction systems offer powerful suction and steaming hot water through the delivery hose. The equipment used for our cleaning was exactly that way, and the extraction process was thorough and efficient. The end result is that we paid ~$80.00 for pre-treating and steam extraction and are completely happy with the result. Asaf and his staff know exactly what they are doing with the carpet cleaning. (I have worked with similar equipment in the past and have perspective on this job.) My family can recommend The Dirt Doctor to you without hesitation or caution. Just be aware that when you make an appointment for them to come to you, you would be wise to have flexible plans on the day of the appointment.
