I saw a recommendation on another site for Joe and after having other companies out, who we felt were only focused on selling us a new system, I called Joe today. He and his co-worker came out within a few hours, did a review of our systems and provided recommendations that made sense without a complete system purchase. We authorized and they did the following - cleaned out the A/C unit, coils, fan, put insulation on one of the outdoor pipes, cleaned the inside unit coils, reviewed the duct insulation and reconnected a pipe in the system that had come undone. They did this with clear explanations as to what was needed and why. Did not try to oversell us - did make sure we were satisfied before leaving. Professional, quick and fair price. I never met a service person as friendly as Joe and he does an excellent job. He helped to replace an old wall heater with a new one, but when he did a test run, it didn't work. He quickly identified the problem was in the wire connecting to the control, and opened the baseboard, found the broken wire by a screw (a job done by the floor guy). He fixed the problem, tucked the wire in the gap between the floor and the wall, so no more screw in the baseboard can damage the wire. When his buddy didn't pick up the old furnace in a timely manner, he even refunded me for an apology. I wish every business is as honest and good as Joe's. I left a phone message and Joe called back in a short time. He was able to come in about an hour and a half. Was friendly, efficient, only took about 1/2 hour to fix my furnace. (Pilot light wouldn't stay on...no heat.) Joe was knowledgeable and efficient. I so appreciated that he got my heat back on, and in a very short time. His fee was very reasonable...much less than most of the others I contacted. (Others won't even work on a mobile home unit, or charge $135 dispatch fee...that's just a tech who diagnoses the problem. Not the tech that comes to fix it.) He said he had given me a discount since it was a fairly easy fix and didn't take long. I am a very satisfied customer. I've lived in the house 20 years and it was built abt 8 or 10 years prior so this HVAC is super old.
