Did amazing job for a Live Scan. In and out the door in under 5 min. It took longer to drive there :). This is after they were referred by UPS store that for over 30 min could not get the job done and gave up. Very professional and know what they are doing! Super efficient! They even charged $75 including fees while the other place wanted $89 and could not get the job done! Even if you have to drive 30 min to go to this place, it's worth it! 6/11/2025 - This store provides many convenient services with a shared free parking lot. The price for a normal U.S. password photo is $10 plus tax. The staff is knowledgeable and asked me whether the photo is for a U.S. passport or visa. Since it is for a visa application photo, an additional $10 will be charged, or $20 plus tax, even though the visa photo is a little bit smaller in size (48 mm by 33 mm). Note: Each country has a different requirement for its visa photo per the store specialist. If you are an AAA basic member or plus , the price for a U.S. passport is $10 and $8, respectively. Came in for notary service and I highly recommend this place. The owner, I believed his name or his last name on the notary stamp was Roy. He was very helpful as well as the lady who was assisting him. The value for the price we paid is just the same as what UPS charge but we had chosen A1 instead and it didn't disappoint us. I first discovered A1 Livescan Notary approximately a year ago when I needed a mailbox. This location is in the same shopping center as one of my favorite restaurants so I decided to start getting my mail there. I must say, the staff is sooooo friendly, everyone who works there always greets me with a smile and a hello! when I walk inside. The shop is spacious, and they also sell some office supplies, mailing supplies, and some other trinkets. I also always admire the pothos plants they have hanging all around, the pothos has grown and traveled along the walls and is quite large and healthy! When I wait in line I've seen people in front of me doing notary, and there to get their live scan, and there to send mail. It's so nice to know that all these services are available in one place. Being able to get my mail here is really convenient, and it comes with the Ipostal app, so I know exactly when letters arrive and what letters they are. I usually pick up my mail once a month unless something is more important and needs to be picked up sooner, and pickup is super easy through the app to schedule it. I was looking for a new provider of my post office box as I was unsatisfied with my previous provider. I came across A1 Livescan and was interested in their 24/7 access that had been advertised. My family and I came in on Wednesday, 11/26 to setup the box. We had inquired on the after-hours access that was advertised, only to be told that the person whom programs the system wasn't available. We were told that we could come back later that day (we all have jobs in the afternoon so that wasn't an option) or come back the following Monday for him to program our IDs into the system. Today (Monday 12/1), we came as instructed to have our IDs programmed and he was not present. Staff called him on the phone and he gave programming instructions for our IDs which failed. While at the location, the staff said "I told you to call ahead to make sure he is available" before coming in which is false. She did NOT tell us to call ahead. We did get a call later in the afternoon that he had arrived and was available to do the programming, by which time we all were at our jobs. I am not going to inconvenience my family, wasting our valuable time over and over on wild goose chases. Businesses are open to provide services at a time that is CONVENIENT TO THE CUSTOMER. I came here to do my fingerprints because I was in a rush to turn in some paperwork. If you saw me somewhere else in Los Angeles wearing a button-up shirt and nice trousers, not you didn't. The LiveScan process here was super quick. I called ahead to ask if I could get an appointment but they always welcome walk-ins. Hence I just walked in. The staff here are very professional, very helpful, very friendly, and very efficient. I got my paperwork done here faster than I expected (I had no expectation actually). When I spoke up that I was waiting, his response was to accuse me of being rude. Get you mailbox somewhere else so you won't be treated unfairly. I was provided digital copies so I could renew my passport online which is super helpful. They offer finger printing and Live Scan services as well as generic printing. From start to finish, I was here a total of 15 mins. Unprofessional workplace. This one employee with the arm tattoos kept closing in my wife's face as if that's just part of communication and eyeing her up and down. Then in the fingerprint process kept holding and slightly rubbing her fingers as if to guide her to scan her fingerprints, but didn't do the same to the customer before us, who was a dude. My wife later on mentioned the employee hesitated a little bit during the second hand where he saw the wedding ring. Mind you, this is our first time doing a live scan, so we kept it professional, not cause a scene, and tried not to think anything about it. But when we got back to the car my wife brought up the fact that she was uncomfortable with the service. Never going back here. read more

Came here for passport photos - they were super fast and easy. Just $10 for 2 photos. Just beware that the photo needs to be centered on the child's face and the parents hands/arms should not be in the photo. We took the photo to USPS, they let it go since our hand wasn't too visible. read more

I recently went here because I needed a live scan for work. When I got there I realized that I forgot the live scan paperwork. I had already taken my kids out of the house to do this. When I got there the man was friendly to my kids (and yes he was unmasked). I asked if there was any way that he could print my Livescan sheet and he politely said no. I was of course frustrated because now I had to drag my kids back out to get it. But of course it is my fault so I can't blame them for that. I got super lucky that there is another live scan facility in the SAME shopping center, and they have the ability to print things off as well. So thankfully I walked over there and was able to get what I needed on the same trip for the same price. Thank goodness! read more
