The mahi was plentiful and perfectly cooked, the wrap almost tasted like cheese was grilled on the outside of it and it actually has a consistent crunch alllll over. The portion was plentiful and they included some lime on the side that set it off! I'll be making trips to this side of town for this spot alone. This place is the best and extremely consistent! This is a self-serve spot on A1A with 100% outdoor patio seating. There is a small covered area but it's mostly high top seats for a few people. But this is a neighborhood spot feels like you're eating in your backyard. The line for ordering can get extremely long during popular dinning times such as lunch and dinner. So be prepared to wait in line and wait for your dishes. I promise it is worth the wait. I recommend ordering chips and queso they do bring that out quickly and you can much while you wait for your main dishes. The UFO is my favorite dish on the menu and I crave it all the time. It's a flour tortilla that covers a hard taco stuffed with a protein (I love that blackened Mahi) and you can get it spicy (Baja style) or mild (the works). Absolutely the best thing here! If you're grabbing to go, check their website. Sometimes it's not open, but normally you can order ahead and pay online. So when you arrive you can pick up at the pick up window. Oh, absolutely--if you've been searching for a way to make time stand still, this place has mastered it. Sunday night, 9pm, and somehow it takes a full 40 minutes to produce...two burritos. Yes, two. Burritos. Just in case that needs to sink in. But don't worry, it gets better. The woman ahead of me only waited 45 minutes before discovering her order had simply ceased to exist. Lost ticket, no food, and a friendly invitation to wait even longer. So really, my 40-minute wait felt like I hit the express lane. And the grand finale? The only thing better than the food is the customer service. We stopped in for a quick dinner on a chilly, grey evening. I ordered the UFO chicken Baja style with a side of guac and a Modelo, and my husband ordered burrito bowl with chicken, Baja style. Both of our meals were 10/10 delicious and we finished every bite, despite the large portions. As mentioned, it was pretty chilly out, but there were ample heaters throughout the outdoor dining space. The gentleman who took our order was also busy making sure the heaters were warm enough for everyone, and checked in with every table to make sure everyone was enjoying their food (every single table had positive feedback). Online said order would be ready in 20 mins and the cashier kept saying it would just be a "couple of minutes"...repeatedly. Ordered and received email at 528pm and FINALLY got order at 609pm after asking one of the cooks for an estimate of how much longer. Since it was obviously not even started when I asked her twice I would've rather she had been honest. I could've gotten a refund and went elsewhere. Unfortunately you need to order those up front and can't easily get them once you've gotten your food. The birria nachos reminded me of the nachos that I made after school. WAY Overpriced for the quality. Didn't expect chicken to be all dark meat. Rice was boring. Canned black beans. Cabbage was literally just cabbage. Nothing on it. Just a little bit of tomato salsa hardly any cilantro and then they just squeeze some generic Sam's Baja sauce on it. Drink machine is covered in bees that drink all the sugar syrup out so none of the drinks taste like they should except for the tea. Chicken quesadilla was greasy. Camping in St. Augustine and rain rolled through so we decided to eat out for dinner. First time trying this spot out. We were lucky to grab a parking spot in the lot as someone was leaving - this place was packed! Girl at the window was helpful and friendly. She answered all our questions and gave suggestions on what to order. My son got the California burrito. Wow! We all had to try a bite! Daughter got a steak quesadilla that she started chowing down on before I could take a pic Two tacos was too much for me to eat in one sitting so I took the other back to the campsite - they were stuffed with meat, guac, cilantro and all the yummy juices. RATS EVERYWHERE!!! I can here after mini golf the place looked clean at first, but there seem to be rats everywhere! I saw at least 10 rats within 5 minutes. After seeing the issue I asked to refund my order given that I didn't feel safe eating food from a restaurant having rat issues. The Manager refused to refund even though my food hadn't even been made. I looked inside, the floor was filthy, so I didn't believe their claim the no rats ever came in.
