Tried this place for take out on Friday. The service was friendly and my order was out quickly. The chicken taquitos were hefty with wonderfully stewed meat. Four taquitos is more than enough for a full meal. I also ordered the steak fajitas. While there is plenty for two to share the meal the meat was overcooked and dry but did have good flavor and the veggies were on point! The beans and rice that came with it were adequate for the meal. The full slice of a beefsteak tomato wasn't necessary and really didn't need to be on the plate, but not a deal breaker. As for the tortilla chips, half were overcooked and the flavor was so-so. All in all good service with friendly staff, quick turnaround on food delivery and the taquitos were totally worth it. Probably wouldn't do the fajitas again but I will definitely come again. read more

Zero stars if I could. Came in quickly on my 45min lunch. Was seated, my waitress took 10min to "check on me", asked for water was ready to order, she walked away got lost. Came back 10min later I ordered a quick lunch the Speedy Gonzalez I asked if I could have a corn tortilla instead of flour she seemed annoyed by that. Food came out a nice gentleman brought it out. I wanted to place a to -go order of churros but since my waitress felt like her text messages were more important I ran out of time. The food was decent and you get ALOT to eat for the price, but I was very thrown off by the terrible, nasty smell in the restroom near the kitchen. The chips were sub par, however......if you like spicy, ask for their jalapeño salsa and you're in for a kick! I wish they had a small bites menu (similar to the lunch menu) that was always available because the portions were so large. The service was pretty good when the food was brought out. There was only a slight issue with languages, but we all managed perfectly. I would have liked to try a frozen margarita, but they use a premade sour mix that is too strong and they were $9.99 for one (not sure of the size). Compared to the other locations, this one is the best. If it weren't for the sour water, sulfur smell in the restroom and lack of ambiance, I would give them four stars. Dined in last night (5/20) and had the worst experience at Cinco de Mayo. We have eaten there on many occasions but last night's experience will be our last. The waitress was inattentive and the food was well below par. We sat at the table waiting for our bill and I noticed our waitress outside making videos with another co-worker. Best Mexican food we have found outside of San Diego. The biggest adjustment moving from California to Florida is that it is almost impossible to find authentic Mexican food here. Search no more! The Carnitas here are incredible. They are even more flavorful than our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We had Alan as a server and he was awesome!! The drinks may seem a little weak so you might want to add a double shot. Well I haven't been back to Cinco De Mayo in a year, hoping it had gotten better. Well it didn't, it worse. I ordered carne asada last night take out and it ranks up there with the top 5 worst Mexican dinners I have ever had. When I moved here 6+ years ago I was so happy to see that restaurant near my neighborhood. But over the past couple of years their food has become increasingly worse. Toughest steak that couldn't be cut with knife, the chips were stale and tasted like old grease, they tried to give me fries instead of rice, the steak was smothered in refried beans and onions, then I got brown lettuce with a teaspoon of guacamole.
