Aaand another reply to my review in case anyone was wondering or if the company had the decency to follow-up as promised -- I got a call from the moving company this past Monday and, as I previously predicted (but truly didn't think would actually happen), agreed to compensate for my cleaning services IF I remove the poor review(s). The person said if I was willing, he'd reach out to his manager and get back to me. Can you guess what? It's been 3 days and he still hasn't gotten back to me. So, in case anyone is reading the reviews to consider this company for your upcoming move, just know you're reading ONLY the positive reviews as I'm sure people were paid off to remove poor, realistic ones. I cannot believe my husband and I are out the $1,000 for the moving services but now out an additional $400 for our carpet cleaning. Plus our time for cleaning our dirtied valuables that were marked from the movers dirty hands. Beware...highly suggest looking for another moving company! read more

I've used A2 Moving for my move from my apartment to storage in 2020 and I contacted them right away to move my stuff from storage to my house in 2022. The service both times was fantastic. For my move in 2022, Angel and his co-mover were awesome! They called when they were 20 minutes away to make sure I would be available and they moved everything with speed and care. Angel even helped me figure out furniture placement in my new house. The 2 movers provided were prompt and efficient. The foreman of the move even went out of his way to assist me with an issue I had with the storage company. I just moved from Garden Grove to Irvine and was searching Yelp for a company with 5 stars and I found A2. I was very impressed with all of the reviews and what they offer with their move. But unfortunately I was very disappointed. I understand not every move is perfect but pure negligence is what led to my dissatisfaction. I hired 4 movers. They arrived on time. I liked the text alert feature letting you know when the movers would arrive. Once they arrived they were friendly and initially moved quickly. But after the first two hours it was downhill from there. My friend and I kept hearing loud crashing sounds upstairs. I went upstairs to see what was going on and one of the employees was disassembling my sons bunk beds. He unscrewed a bolt at the top and literally let the entire thing come crashing down. I asked if everything was okay and was the bed damaged and the worker told me no. In the other two bedrooms two workers were working disassembling furniture and I again continued to hear crashing sounds. They really should have been working together to Avoid damages. Once I arrived at my new place my boyfriend looked at my sons bunk beds and screws were stripped and missing. Chunks of wood were taken out of the bed. He had to drill new holes to secure the bed and now I have to go purchase new parts to make it more secure. They broke my Mozaic patio table, holes in my leather couch, broke my table extenders, scratched my new wood floors, scratched my daughters bed and my bed is unstable. So long story short the list of items that were broken or damaged beyond repair is never ending. I am so incredibly disappointed. I would never use this company again. read more

Don't be fooled by their company name. Their service is A-1!!! I initially booked two weeks in advance with another 5-star rated company that I found on Yelp. They were not professional at all. Two days prior to my move date, I called and they didn't even have me on the schedule. I then had to scramble to find new movers. After calling numerous locations to find availability, I stumbled across A2 Moving. So happy that they were local too. They were extremely professional and explained everything thoroughly. They offered competitive pricing and made me feel completely at ease during one of the most stressful situations a person could have. Upon booking, I had to place a $75.00 deposit which was deducted from the total balance at check out. I was given a "between 8am-10am" arrival. The drivers arrived at 9am. They even called the night before and an hour before they arrived to confirm the arrival time of 9am. Both guys worked hard and very efficiently. I didn't hear any complaints even though they had to climb four flights of stairs several times to get my furniture into my new townhouse. I was worried that they might start slacking and let the clock tick like most movers do since they charge by the hour. The first hour or so I was watching them like a hawk but they continued to impress me. After a while, I just sat back and took care of other things that needed attention around the house and let them do their job. I was so very happy that I used this company versus trying to do the move myself or going to Home Depot for day laborers. I found piece of mind knowing that they are verified movers, have the appropriate insurance coverage, and have worker's compensation for their employees as they are required by law. Some of these moving companies do not offer that and you should inquire about it before choosing one. I would definitely hire them again if I ever have to move. We hired them for a move less than 10 miles to our new place, they managed to damage multiple "large" furniture pieces and charged $150 extra for my couch to be moved. They are not a company that runs professionally and hides fees . Beware!! read more

I booked them recently to move into my new place and I was impressed by their professional attitude. I was also concerned at first because I had hired them to move a piano from the second floor of my old place down a flight of stairs and wasn't sure if they could do it or not. I had nothing to worry about though as they handled the incredibly difficult task with care as they moved the piano out of my old place and into my new apartment no problem. They moved the rest of my things with great care and made moving into my new place a thousand times easier. I was also concerned about the movers ability to make sure my old apartment didn't get scratched up but I had nothing to worry about. Eric and Nick were phenomenal. We were moving my son into an apt for college. By the time we found an apt and we're scheduled to move in, getting the logistics of the move were pretty short notice. We went on Yelp and A2 Moving was one of the many that were given as options. However they were the quickest response and remained very responsive throughout the quotation, planning process. They made it seamless which we needed with everything else we had going on. They arrived at the storage unit 5 mins before; were ready for the task of pulling out to find and putting back. They arrived at the apt shortly after. Again, moment they got out the truck they started working to offload. The apt was literally at the bottom of 4 corridors but they never complained. In fact, they even offered to help the Living Spaces guys who were delivering new furniture. They setup the items and bed quickly and without damaging the apt or the bed. Just really solid team.
